I have been to The Smoking Apple a number of times and have never been disappointed. Our last trip there (Sat. Sept 6th) the owner was there and when we walked in told us to make sure and sample the different meats that they had available. He said, "This place is like Costco, get all the samples you want!" I already knew what I wanted to order, but I sampled their Habanero sausage. It was delicious. I ordered the the two meat plate (pulled pork and brisket) along with three sides (they are all good, especially the garlic smashed potatoes and the mac and cheese). We sat down and were eating our food, the owner came back around and asked us how it was. We had a brief discussion about his restaurant. Super nice guy. As we were finishing up he came back and gave us two of their chocolate cookies that they make there. I didnt know I could be any more impressed with the place. This is a place I would recommend to anybody. It is a place that if I had guests come into town, it would be the first restaurant I would want to take them to. Heres to hoping The Smoking Apple is around for many years!

Love this place! I live out of state (and even out of the country) and every time I Come home to visit family in Lindon, this place is always at the top of my list to go eat. Their mixed fries are the best!! Mixture of regular and sweet potato fries and they are perfectly prepared. Honestly the best fries Ive ever had and I love fries! Their beans are really yummy and the corn bread is very moist, sweet, and delicious! I have lived in Georgia and South Carolina where they know how to do BBQ and this place is right up there with them. Highly recommend! Line can get long but the service is quick.

Got the pulled pork sandwich. Sides were garlic smashed taters, sweet corn bread, and mac and cheese. The garlic smashed taters was basically like loaded mashed potatoes. This was pretty good. The sweet corn bread was not great. The mac and cheese did not have the cheese melted all the way, but it was really good. The pulled pork sandwich was okay. The bbq sauce was fantastic. I couldnt get enough of it. Luckily, they had bottles at each table and I could unload on my sandwich. This made it good. Self-serve drinks means no waiter... awesome!

Used to love this place but recently they charged us a lot more for two fries for our sides. With the combo you can pick two sides but now they consider fries as 2 sides instead of one. I challenged them on this at the restaurant and they basically said sorry, it is what it is. The amount of food is pretty skimpy, Ill take my business to r and r. Way more bang for your buck and about the same quality. The smoking apple burnt their biscuit this time as well and wasnt tasty and dry. It had too much char, like a ton.

My wife and I went here for the first time on a friends recommendation, and I was pretty impressed. When going, I would keep it basic and make sure to eat something that is actually smoked or bbqd. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and it was awesome! Plenty of food, great flavor, and their BBQ sauce was pretty dang good. My wife got the Cheesesteak with a few sides and it was okay, but the sides are nothing to brag about. My advise: stick to BBQ and fries, and you will leave satisfied.

We started coming here the day they opened. Amazing BBQ. I have been to Texas a few times and am more impressed with the BBQ at Smoking Apple than I am there. We used to come a couple times every week, but they keep raising their prices and lowering portion size. It is now a once a month outing. If they would get back to their customer first attitude like they had in the beginning, we would be eating there at least once a week again. The sides are excellent.

This place was great! We live close by and I had never tried it until last week. Im so glad we tried it. The food is similar to any barbecue place like Good Wood but more casual and a little less expensive. Food was amazing. We went in one day and had to go back two days latter because it was so awesome. Highly recommended. This place reminds me of some of the excellent barbeque places we went to on the east coast. Im glad its here.

Great place with wonderful service! This place offers some amazing choices for dinner, lunch, and if you are up to it..breakfast! The meats here are melt in your mouth tasty! It is a wonderful BBQ and grill place for any type of meal/gathering. The only downside to their nice and cozy restaurant is that fact that they have limited seating. I only wish they would increase their seating capacity.

Great food, great staff! I have ate here with friends on multiple occasions and I must say this place is awesome! They smoke their meat in house and its perfect. Amazing brisket and pulled pork! Their BBQ sauce is tangy with a little kick which I love. The sides are great too. I recommend their mac and cheese and their garlic mashed potatoes! Best BBQ in Utah County hands down.

Im from Memphis and amazing BBQ is something I thought Id have to give up when I moved to Utah. My buddies at work introduced me to this place and its honestly the best BBQ Ive had away from home. I even bought a bottle of their sauce! Its a great restaurant if youre just getting lunch in the middle of the day or taking someone out for a nice meal without getting too fancy.

Pulled pork, beef brisket, corn bread, sweet potato fries, corn, beans and thats only the stuff we could get too! You will not be disappointed! Its a great family run restaurant. Me and my friend always debate if this is our favorite place in town for bbq. I like another place a little more, but Ive never been disappointed eating here and bbq is so unique with so many nuances I definitely recommend trying the Smoking Apple. Utah needs more good bbq and it only gets better with competition. Id go for the brisket and burnt ends when possible.

umm umm good!!!! I love BBQ and this place delivers. The homemade BBQ sauce and salad dressing is amazing. if your hungry go for the two meat special. The brisket and the pulled pork are out of this world. He sausage is also mouthwatering. If you dont have a huge appetite go for the baby belly meals. This place appears small but delivers big on flavors and value.

First off the people that work there are social and easy going. I would always get the delectable sweet pork. Fernanda recommended me to try the mouth watering beef briscuit. The BBQ sauce is home made and has a sweet and spicy taste. It adds zing to the meat. The beef briscuit is awesome I would definitely recommend going there once in a while and getting that!
