Tried this tonight for the first time. We had not been here since it was Dos Charros several years ago. We saw it was under a new name and decided to try it. First off, it is exactly what it says, Seafood and Mexican grill. If you want burritos, enchiladas and Tex mex fare, this is not the place. Thy do have a few of those type items on their lunch menu though. That said, it was really good! They had. Many fish, shrimp and lobster offerings as well as large paradilla and Mocajete plates. I ordered the chipotle shrimp and it came with salad, rice and fries. It was very good. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and the chipotle sauce was flavorful. Hubby got fish tacos and although said they were a little salty, he enjoyed them and thought they were well cooked. We started with queso and a half order of the shrimp and fish empanadas. My 6 year or almost licked the queso bowl clean and everyone enjoyed the empanadas. Hubby especially liked the jalapeño sauce that came with them. Overall good food, its been remodeled and has a nicer, cleaner appearance than the old restaurant and the service was good. Portions were generous. Would like to come try our their Sunday brunch sometime soon. We will be back when we get a Mexican seafood craving.

Thought I would try this place today. Its fathers day so I deliberately waited for the lunch rush to subside. While there were filled tables, they werent very busy. Perusing the menu was a task in itself. It was hard to understand with no explanations of the ingredients in the dish. I had gone in wanting seafood but the menu was so confusing I settled on straight forward enchiladas. While trying to figure out the menu, my beverage and chips & salsa arrived. While waiting to give my order I began to hear the complaints around me. Seems no-one in my section had received their food, one table was complaining to the manager that they had been waiting over an hour. Another table was on the phone talking of waiting more than 40 minutes. There was no sign of anyone being served at the other tables in my area. Needless to say, when the waitress came to collect my order, I asked for the check for my tea. After waiting an over abundance of time for my check, I gave up. I left cash enough to cover my beverage and then some and left. Looks like this place needs to get it together. On a positive note, the salsa was good. Too bad, I was looking forward to trying Mexican seafood.

Recently moved to Wylie, I love seafood and my hubs loves mexican food, win-win, right?! We walk in to see about four tables and a slew of staff standing at the front...everyone seems happy, just dont look at the moldy flowers at the front...sat down with our two girls in tow and waited for an hour to get enchiladas, crawfish and chicken nuggets...actually longer because our food was cold by the time the kids got their food...crawfish was covered in a mole sort of sauce? (Ended up getting it boxed and washed it off at home)...hubs was confused as to what he was eating exactly- sent it back....our girls smelled the chicken and ended up not eating...the table next to us asked what they were eating and sent it back as well...Very sad...stay away. Just dont do it...

I really wanted to like this new restaurant but the staff did not know the menu well at all. Our 2 drinks were good but the first time no garnishments & the 2nd time they looked like the picture. I wanted the whole fish pictured on the menu. It offered different ways to be prepared that the staff tried to translate. I just told him I wanted the one in the picture. Well I did not get that one. And my husbands was missing food & missing tortillas that were said to being freshly made at that moment but came out cold. We are bummed, like I said I really hope they train the staff better or redo the menu so its understandable.

The salsa tasted like spicy water. The server informed us that he was under the age of 21 yet the bartender and he shared an alcoholic beverage. As the bartender was "practicing". Perhaps this is why our service was less than desirable. The french fries that came with my enchiladas were burnt too. Not sure who designed that menu, or messed up the order but I thought that french fries with enchiladas was a little odd. We wont be returning.

I am not a picky eater so its out of character to be disappointed with food. I order beef enchiladas with chili con carne and got like a flavorless chopped beef enchilada covered in cheese. Rice was half mushy half dry, beans just taste awful. My mom ordered fajitas and got dry amateur cut chicken and steak. Slow service despite only three tables in use.

Service was terrible, orders were wrong and steaks were all over cooked so that they were inedible. We had to ask for our drinks multiple times from multiple people and through most of our time there, we were the only people there. In addition, the music they were playing contained expletives during Sunday brunch.

The food was delicious! Their main menu are seafood mexican dishes with a sub menu for Tex mex. They have totally remade the inside and it is really nice with Chrome ,white ,pale green soft colors full bar. Service from 2 of the staff. Both were very friendly and customer oriented. We will go again.

Came expecting Mexican food but it is primarily steak and seafood. Waited 45 minutes for food to come out. Pricing is also higher than expected. Was really hoping for another great restaurant in Wylie but all in all not the best first experience to be impressed enough to try again.

So we went for a lunch experience at about 2pm. Ordered food around 2:15 and didnt get it until around 3pm. I ordered salmon la bahia, it was overcooked and not good... The service was super slow. Especially since there was literally one other table of people while we were there.

First time, like the food that I ordered but my daughter didnt like the food that she order exactly. Also, what I didnt like about it was that we had to tell them what we want & asking what we ordered couple times.
