Ultimo consistently has the best cup of coffee in Philadelphia. And I saw this as someone who had tried most of the better shops. What distinguishes their brew from the pack is flavor - its one of the only places Ive ever been where different beans are actually distinct experiences of flavor and aroma. Outside of brewed coffee (espresso, tea, etc), they are still definitely top tier, but dont stand out in the same way from the myriad of other excellent shops out there. Also worth noting: it is an excellent space. Tons of natural light, and manages to fit lots of people without seeming overcrowded. Could really use some more electrical outlets though, especially along the windows.

At first going into the coffee shop the customer service was not the best. For my first time there I had a not so good experience. However, I did reach out to the owner who is amazing!! and he addressed and took care of the problem. At first I wanted to give to 1 star for customer service and 5 stars for the quality. Overall, Ultimo is a place you will enjoy!

Cool local spot where beer and coffee meet. Coffee is great there. But unlike starbucks their other drinks are lack luster. An iced soy chai just comes out of 2 boxes. And thats that. Its an amazing place to people watch and do work. Its an ideal local hang out in an "up and coming" neighborhood. Its like a little melting pot! Cute place for sure.

The coffee was very good, and pastry was excellent. Good neighborhood place. I offered to put my dishes on side counter when finished and staff directed me to place them in dishpan behind counter though - the Owner may want to retrain staff!

Neighborhood hipsterish coffee bar. The coffee is good and its always a great place to study while you sip on the pour over coffee. The coffee is just a bit to acidic for my taste but its nice and welcoming.

One of the best coffee shops in Philly. The first being their other location. They started roasting their own coffee which I wasnt to sure about as I love Counter Culture. Was not disappointed!
