A one does not describe the experience we have had oar house. We had a reservation for nine people at 11 oclock for a graduation lunch. We were seated promptly and order drinks the sodas and waters came out kind of slow but average. The place was so dark that everyone had to use their phones to read the menu. It seemed that there was two waiters on shift no manager and a total of four tables in the restaurant. I noticed that the rest of the tables had bread and butter which we had nothing. We had a three-year-old with us and found that there was little to no options on the menu or that they could come up with for him and he was getting restless. We placed our order for food about 15 minutes into being there most of the people at the table ordered this stake and salads 30 minutes after we ordered our food everybodys drinks at the table were empty and had not been refilled the drinks ordered from the bar had still not arrived. Our waiter had ben extremely rude since the time we arrived we finally flag down the other waiter to see what was going on with our food sense we had been there for over an hour at this point with no refills and no salads come out yet. That waiter was also extremely rude and when we mentioned that we were thinking about just leaving he said well thats up to you go ahead right after he walked away our waiter came out with are salads when we asked to see a manager she went back to the kitchen and we could see her on the phone we waited another 10 minutes before we decided that we were done with our experience and ready to go get food Somewhere else. Recommend the Sawgrass across the street before the ore house. I am not a person who normally write reviews but I think it is important to get this place obviously needs a management change

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there on Jan, 2013. We both ordered the Filet Mignon. I like mine rare and she likes hers with a thin red line and not bloody. She inquired with the waiter on how she should order to get the steak to her likening. The waiter suggested that the she should do medium well done. The waiter delivered the steaks out, my steak was about an 1 1/4" thick. It was cooked correctly and very tender, however my wifes was cooked all the way through and was about 5/8" thick. We were both insulted just because she wanted a more well done steak that the chef decided that an inferior piece of meat was in order. I told the waiter that we would not pay $32.00 for a piece of meat that belong at Golden Coral. She sent the steak back and the waiter did offer another but by this time it would have taken another 20 minutes and we decided to get our money back on the steak. The manager never came out to apologize or address about our food. When we left, I asked to speak to the manager. She said she was unaware of the incident. I ask if wait staff and the chef were allowed to take off $32.00 on a ticket without her knowing it. She would not answer. This told me she was well aware of our disappointment. We have eaten here many times but after the poor customer service, the over cooked food and the lack of caring, we will not be back. Too bad. This use to be a good place to eat. I would look else where to eat.

I always wanted to eat at this place since its located near my favorite fishing spot, so I finally got the chance yesterday.. But it should have been a warning to turn around when I didnt notice any other minorities.. The lady performing even stopped singing mid song when I entered the building... We made reservations for 7 pm there were a lot of open seats available we were stuck at the smallest table they could find..our waiter took 30 minutes to bring our drinks another 15 to bring our salads and bread and 40 minutes for the main entre besides being starred at Awkardly the entire time the customer service was horrible but I must admit the food was pretty good..would I recommend? If youre a minority hell no.. Other than that you should be treated pretty good...

If I could give zero stars I would because it was horrible and the waitress made us look stupid. As soon as we walked in the door no one was there to help us. So we gave it a few minutes until a young girl approached us just to say "one second. " As we waited she was talking to other do workers and they were just eyeballing me and my girlfriend as if we were weird or something. Then she came back to seat us right next to another couple when there was absolutely no one in the whole restaurant. So I asked if we could sit somewhere else and there it was again "one second. " So my girlfriend and I just walked out because she was staring to feel uncomfortable on her own birthday by the way. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!

Called at 2 to see if we would be able to get a table at 5. The man on the phone told us they would be able to find a table for us. Arrived at 5, and were turned away by the manager. I have a low opinion of businesses that lie to people. The man on the phone could have said no which would have been completely fine, or the manager could have taken ownership of their mistake. There are plenty of other options in the area to try I would recommend ones that dont lie to customers.

One hour+ from ordering to salad arriving at the table. The salad and entree were delicious, but 60 minutes to prepare a Salad course is excessive. Evidently their kitchen is insufficient for the number of tables. The food was good, but pricey. My $32 medium rare steak was far tender. We talked to the manager and our food arrived shortly thereafter. Compared to other restaurants in their price range they underperformed.

My husband took me here for our anniversary dinner. They sat us in a secluded part of the restaurant with low lighting and candles burning. It was a very romantic atmosphere. Our server was very nice and made sure that we were happy at every turn. The food was good as well. They eventually seated others near us but it didnt change the atmosphere. Overall, it was a nice experience. We will go here again.

Our server was very attentive. The food was not bad, but it was not amazing. On the positive side, the food did not taste like it began its life as tv dinner as is so common with a number of the chain restaurants. It tasted as though it had been freshly prepared when we ordered. We just wished the flavor was a little more memorable.

The Oar House has a pretty decent atmosphere and the service was average but the food was over priced for what you receive. I had the Chicken Scallopini (1 breast of Chicken) and it was just okay. My wife and daughter enjoyed their dishes but personally, I will not go back to this restaurant. FYI, just my wife and my dishes were $86.
