This was by far one of the worst dinning experiences of my life! Being a buffet, I didnt expect high quality food, but it was like they made a special effort to make the food and the experience bad. I could go on about how bad it was (it was all bad), but could they at least have refried beans or enchiladas that werent dried out. The enchiladas were discusting. My husband said the medudo wasnt bad. They have a shrimp coctail, but no avacado. The best thing I had was the chips. I dont live close, nearly an hour away, but I put this place on my list of places to go to when in town. We both felt sick on our ride home, and vowed to NEVER go there again. The bathrooms were disgusting as well. It smelt bad when we walked in. We should have walked out and gone across the street to the new La Madeline. We only have so many chances while in town. This experience ruined our day and we both feel miserable now.

Well it said guacamole on request and when I asked they said they were out??? And another thing that really bothered me was when we arrived we were seated in the very back where their staff eats while everyone else was seated in the middle dining room. I felt like because my daughter and I are large women we were being judged. I didnt feel comfortable there and staff was talking about how much food we were going to eat because I speak and understand spanish. I will never return there. Horrible experience

This is an INCREDIBLE buffet... Im from Vegas, the king-of-buffets town, but this one has em beat with all the authentic flavors and samplings one could desire. But thats not all, theres American food, southwestern food, kiddos buffet, desserts, fresh fruits, I could go on, but Ill save you. And for lunch, including beverage, only $10 with tax. The mix of nationalities says it all, especially the Latinos, so its De-lish!!

We have been coming here to eat REAL Mexican food since we moved to Tyler three years ago. If you want authentic Mexican food you need to try it. We have gone to other "Mexican" restaurants that have been rated number "one" here in town and I sent my food back once and I left half uneaten, but here in El Mejicano I love their food! I cant get enough of it :)

My husband and a couple of friends and I went there couple weekends ago on sunday for lunch it was wonderful especially the chicken enchiladas. The waitress we had was very friendly and helpful. If we didnt live so far away I would eat there at least twice a month without a problem.

The enchiladas was awesome! They hit the spot. Ive never been to a Mexican buffet, and my husband told me there was one and it was worth coming here. Everything was clean. Very friendly service and the restaurant is very kid friendly. Good place to go to when you have a family. ❤❤

Omg...So sad we went..Had to use bathroom was so filthy toilets. Over flowing..Not one but two stalls..They were busy so I thought because of that my friend told waitress they did clean...But I still didnt use..Food sucked..I ended up sick about 3 that night...Never again

I only go here with two friends maybe once a year. We tear this place up! Dont go unless you are starving. The food is decent if a little bland. Just dump more salsa on it! Great value for the money and one of the better buffets in Tyler. How many tacos can YOU eat?!

Its been about a year, or so. Food was tasty, and plenty of it. Mexican buffet.....some Mexican dishes arent meant to stay out on a buffet table. I enjoyed what I ate. The place was clean. There was a lively lunch crowd, and most of the tables were occupied.

So we always go the Wichita Falls location and know why, this location is in serious need of a good scrubbing and carpet replacing. I was pretty bummed. The restroom was is need of desperate help. Food was okay but they need to improve ASAP in my opinion.

No bueno.... Dirty, Food had no taste and taco shells were stale, floor around buffet was filthy, nothing really that kids would wanna eat.. Dont know what restraunt the ppl who gave good reviews went to but the food i actually ate made me sick

Food: Cold, Dry, Watered Down, Hard as a rock as if it was sitting out all day mind you we got there soon as they opened. Fruits were good. Desert so so. Glad its not expensive wouldnt be worth it. Waitress was nice though.

My boyfriend and I went their for dinner tonight and it was terrible. Flies are flying all around the food. Nats flying over you. Food was really dry. The waitresses were not very friendly. Will NEVER be eating there again.

We were visiting Tyler, we found quite by accident and we were so glad we did! Awesome food, service was great. Kids eat for half and it is the same.food. I loved it so much I wanted to eat there before we left

i just went today, and from the reviews it seemed good. but, me and my boyfriend were VERY disappointed. the beans were like soup, any chicken was very dry and over all not good anything. would not recommend
