We arrived at the Sunnyvale location at 5:30 pm on a Sauturday afternoon to a near empty restaurant. The sign on the door should have been the first red flag "Help Wanted....Cook & Waitress". We were greeted by a 20 something girl who asked us if we were dining in.....second red flag. We were seated and when she finally arrived back to the table she brought out a plate with 6 small, dry knot rolls. A friend of mine asked her to bring some butter they were so dry which she didnt bring until asked the third time, shortly before the meal was over and brought it out slab style in a saucer and the butter was soured. None of the pasta dishes, which are a little on expensive side, came with a salad. The lasagna my husband ordered tasted like one you can buy at Braums which is ok but you could have purchased a family sized lasagna for the price we paid for his portion at Casa Nostra. My fettucini Alfredo was horrible the sauce tasted like white powered gravy, the grilled chicken was rubbery and hard to chew. Our friend ordered a salad with Grilled chicken and it too was rubbery. We asked for more rolls and was told they were still in the oven so for the second time my friend asked for butter to go with the small cold rolls we were served when we walked in.....she said OK and never brought them. Near the end of this horrible meal she brought out the hot rolls which again were dry, but at least hot...this time I told her to bring butter and she did, a plank that looked like it had been chopped of a block of cheap butter.....it was soured which made me wonder about the odd tasting Alfredo sauce. She kept coming to the table asking if we were finished eating yet and once asked if I wanted a to go box because my meal was 90% uneaten. I do not like to write such reviews but yesterdays visit to Casa Nostra in Sunnyvale was a $37 mistake. I even read reviews before we went and found good reviews (3) but was disappointed in our meal and service. I dont expect them to be in business much longer if that is representative of their service and their food. I manage a staff of 161 and recognized from the moment we walked in and was asked if we were there to dine in, that there is a lack of management and training and after eating there my first and last time, it just lacked in every area. Could be why it was near empty on a Saturday. Sicilianos in Garland is a better choice.....you get a salad and soup with every meal, they have a fun and professional wait staff and the food is out of this world delicious and the Sinatra music playing softly in the dining room gives the restaurant some class and charm. Casa Nostra is as cold and tasteless as its rolls.

Party of 10. Served only me wrong dish, politely sent it back, waitress blamed cook. Pretty sure cook/owner tampered with sauce. Eaten on empty stomach, only I got sick. Three hours later I threw up and it ripped thru me in the bathroom until 4am. If you eat here "Do Not" send food back or you may suffer, especially if sauce doesnt taste quite right. My 9 guests had to wait 30 minutes for me to eat. At check out counter the staff elbowed each other and said you had the special sauce, loudly directed towards the kitchen. Then cook/owner came out of kitchen and asked if I was the one that sent food back, then asked so how did you like it? He was in full on laugh the whole time as I paid for my $22 pizza. No appologies, no discount. FYI, I never get sick. Can eat anything. I never send food back, my niece insisted since it was not what I ordered. Suspect toilet or sink water, sauce was very runny. Even my group asked why is the sauce so watery.

This place is ridiculous!!!!!!!! I order over the phone to pick up and when i got there the guy quoted me a price of $17.27!! and that was just for chicken Alfredo and SMALL! drink. I asked him why this was so much and he said because I was not dinning in. I should of never bought it but I had no other choice because my lunch hour was almost up. He said if I dinned in it would of cost me $8.95(I dont remember the exact price but this is close). He said it would also come with a side salad and a large cup. To be honest with you the food was not worth the price I had to pay for take out! Sorry!! but I will never take my business there ever. . .This place really does not even deserve 1 star from me.

We came in for lunch wasnt too busy. Sat down ordered our food and began waiting around 30 minutes. A different waiter came to our table and asked us what we had ordered so he could check on it. Later our waiter came to the table and apologized telling us during his rush he forgot to put in our order. I understand accidents happen and he offered to pick up the tab for todays launch. Then at the end of the meal he brought out the ticket book and stated that he had paid for todays lunch and also given us a gift card for next visit which was very appreciated .The final straw was the ant crawling across my plate just after I finished eating. No need for next visit .

Menu looked wonderful, but dissapointment came early. Salad was limp, I asked for vinegar and oil dressing but got something pink out of a bottle and way too much. We love our veggies, but the ones in our meals, and the sauces, tasted and looked like they came out of a jar. And the meats were tasteless. For $13.95 per entree, we could have had MUCH better at many other places. Oh, and watch your step... the dining room floor is raised about an inch and I stumbled over the edge. It wasnt lit or marked.

Service was terrible and the waitress was rude to my 11 year old when she asked for a new fork because it was dirty and then never brought her a clean one. We were a with a large group and they didnt offer me a check. I had to tell them what I had then paid on a square credit card swiper. It was extremely fishy because the waitress was using her personal phone for payment. Food was OK but way over priced for what I got.

not sure how this place has so many stars. I dined in over the weekend while I wasnt feeling well since its so close to my house and who doesnt want warm pasta on a cold day. Total waste of money. Terrible service, Over priced pasta (not to mention it doesnt come with a salad), and who doesnt have to-go cups for customers. I live so close to this restaurant but I have to admit I will never eat here again.

Always seated quickly and promptly served with pick up orders always on time. This is definitely my favorite place for pizza in the area. Thin crust, good price for the Cosa Nostra special, I believe they call it, given the quality. My wife loves the warm rolls smothered in garlic and olive oil. Ive also had the veal parmigiana several times and it doesnt disappoint.
