On 04/29/16, for the first time, I ordered a large pizza and I requested Italian sausage and green peppers. I took the pizza home and its not Italian sausage, it appeared to be small bits of pre-frozen/already made sausage bites. We did not like the after-taste of the sausages, so I called Zukos. I explained to the gentleman, that answered the phone, my dislike and he said, one moment let me speak to the manager. He shouted, to the manager: The lady that ordered the large pizza with sausage and green peppers ATE HALF OF IT and wants to return it. First of all, NO ONE ATE close to one-third of the pizza. Second of all, when I asked for Italian sausage someone should have said the truth and said, we do not have Italian sausage----what we do have has been precooked/previously frozen, etc.,. Ramond came to the phone, I explained my dislike and ONLY HE was kind enough to listen and replace it----I asked for a pepperoni pizza. When I returned the pizza, I told the gentleman (he was bald---I didnt ask for his name) that someone said we ate half of the pizza----he opened the box, saw MORE than 3/4ths was there and shoved the box to a back room---never said a word, and seemed upset. Ramond gave me the pepperoni pizza, he apologized and told me to have a good evening. This is lengthy, but I want to say everything that did happen------will I recommend this place? No...but I will said I appreciate Ramond for his professionalism. If your wondering about the pepperoni pizza, it DID look better--- but I chose not to try it.

Very friendly staff! I have known the owner for many years, he and his staff have always provided the excellent service for the customers. I dont live in Rowlett area, but I do live in Dallas and when ever Im in Rowlett, Zukos pizza and pasta is the first place that I stop by to get food, sometimes I go there to get food,even if Im not hungry. They are always welcoming people with open arms, smiley faces and they are excited to provide their service to customers. I like their food! My favorite foods are Calazone and chicken fetucchini alfredo. I would definitely recommend you this place! So, if you are visiting Rowlett or surrounding cities(areas) and get hungry -Zukos Pizza and Pasta is the best/great place to stop by and fill your stomach! You will not regret it!

I LOVE Italian food and normally make my own sauce, pizza, and pasta - from scratch. So, it took a few months after moving to Rowlett to try Zukos, but now that we have, Im afraid my husband and I are both hooked. The food is great and it is way too convenient that they deliver. This is an addiction that my waistline does not need. We love their Mediterranean pizza and the baked ziti. Im looking forward to trying the lasagna, as well! Edited because I did try their lasagna. OMGosh! It was a pan full of gooey, bubbly goodness! An order for one is easily 2 1/2 for me.

In past one month I have find New York experience Pizza I live in Rockwall Texas I Was in restaurant Business for 35 years same style business what I find today a pizza place they replace the way I make pizza I came in Texas 38 years ago from New York I find a mom and pop pizza shop thats what Texas needs thumbs up the best pizza I had Sinse I Retired from restaurant business .

I really have to love/hate thing about this place simply because the pizza is that good. I would give it 5 stars but it usually takes them an hour to deliver a pizza. And if you happen to decide to go pick it up instead, you can see why. This place is small, and quiet. But absolutely worth the wait for their pizza.

My husband and I were very excited to try this place for dinner with all the great reviews we read online but we were sadly disappointed. We ordered Baked Ziti and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and both dishes were so bland!!! They pretty much tasted like water....Nothing was seasoned at all. Very disappointing :(

First time customer here. Ordered over the phone and the food was delivered in less than 30 minutes. The pizza itself was hot and fresh. The crust is a nice, thin, chewy crust with a little bite. Perfect. Its better than all of the chain pizza places out here like dominos, pizza hut, etc.

Grabbed a slice of "The Works" and a dinner salad. Taste-filled pizza pie and fresh veggies. The server was kind and attentive. Cash only folks. No credit cards taken. Keep it old school and delish Zukos.

Tasty NY style pizza. Fast service and friendly staff. CASH ONLY pizzeria. Reminds me of the an 80s pizzerias growing up, just need the arcade machine in the corner to feel that nostalgia.

This is my favorite puzza restaurant in the area. I love the one with everything on it. They gave us some amazingly yummy bread knots while we waited the first time in. Highly recommend.
