I went through the drive thru at the Blanco location, and I must say my $7.13 biscuit was very good but not that good!! My fried okra tasted like it had been sitting there for hours, cold, mushy and the 2 pieces of Chicken (leg & breast) was just as bad. I love Chicken Express the one in Bulverde on Hwy 46 is absolutely wonderful, NEVER had anything bad, cold or mushy... so I am a CE lover, just not this one. I understand it is new, but my 1st experience there was okay and now it just got worse... If I could located a name and number to call for a refund I would, I would have taken it back but I was on my way out of town. . AND why do they not have the same ice as the others, that is unheard of... give Blanco the good ice...

Initially it was a good visit until we were getting ready to leave. I went to the counter and was going to buy cookies to go, stood there for a good 3 minutes while the girl with her cart of tea just focused solely on marking the tea jugs. She looked at me atleast 3 times and not once said anything to acknowledge I was there, just went back to marking her tea. They werent exactly busy either, we were the only ones inside and parking lot was bare. Lost another sale and got herself and the company a bad review.

Express Chicken in Bulverde is by far the best friend chicken anywhere. I would give this place 6 starts if I could. The management is great, the young folks that work there are all very nice and fast. Anyone ranking this place low doesnt like fried chicken. Go try Chicken Express, you will see what I mean. Better than any other chain chicken out there... I PROMISE. And I have nothing to do with this place... I just eat here.

This chains line of unseasoned fried chicken makes for a tasteless, dry chicken tender. The rubbery lining underneath the breading and skin creates a chewy, pulling texture to the chicken. The only thing that offers this chain one more than one star is the sweet tea, which is one of the best from any fast food location Ive visited.

I was in there a few days ago. I will never shop there again. Horrible service the older female manager was very rude. The wait was outrages. The bathroom smelled of strong urine Ordered my chicken got home missing half my order and the stuff I did end up getting was cold and the wings had feathers in them.

This is a good chicken place. It is a little pricey. The food is always pretty good. The only situation we have ever had here was that a couple of times they forgot some of our order. So check it before you drive away. Otherwise, its pretty good.

You really have to have good timing to get fresh food here. The tea is great, and consistently th same level of sweet. But the food... ask for fresh, then your experience will be much better.

Great when fresh. Love the fries. But wish you got more than 3 poppers for a side. If the y were the same size as sonic i would u understand. But they are half the size as sonics.

Love their chicken, mashed potatoes with cream gravy and corn-on-the-cob! Plus they have crunchy pellet ice which you can buy bags of and cheaper and better pellets than Sonic!!
