This place has good food but seems to recently have terrible service. We have been twice recently and it takes forever to get food or even something as simple as a salad. Today we went and felt completely ignored. Another table came in way after and placed their order just after ours but got their salads first. When we asked what happened the waitress seemed completely annoyed that we pointed out the fact we had not received food. Instead of trying to make the rest of my meal pleasant and working hard to be better she seemed mad and irritated we were there. This place would have to make considerable improvements in service before I ever consider returning.

Having lasted in a poor location for years, Golden China must be doing something correct. The food is great and the atmosphere is so peaceful! Dinners come with small asian salad, choice of soup, and an enormous entree with an eggroll. Food quality is very good for the price and the atmosphere is very clean, relaxing, and classy. There is even an automatic piano that plays calming music for customers while they dine. The staff has been there for years and is extremely attentive to your tables needs, although not annoying. Weve been going here for years and have never had a bad experience!

Has been a family favorite for fifteen years (following them from location on highway 183). Family owned and operated, consistently good food, multiple appetizers come as part of your entree, player piano inside. For a strip center location, is more upscale than you might expect, yet great prices. Complimentary appetizers include one of each, fried noodle strips, choice of soup, Asian salad, egg roll, paper chicken. My wife and I are light eaters and can easily take home a small box of leftovers after sharing one entree and the host of appetizers.

I have never ordered from here and dont think I will try again. I called today for a delivery order to my work and when I asked for delivery, I was asked "umm, right now?". Well, yes, right now! I was told that they cant because they have no drivers and asked if I could come pick it up. No, I cant, Im at work. Dont think I will even waste my time trying again in the future. What is the point of having a delivery service if you cant deliver?

I mostly like that they werent afraid to tell some cheapskate whack job who wasnt interested in paying 71 additional cents on a 15 dollar minimum delivery. This 71 cents being so important to him that he wrote a negative review. If youre in delivery range, you live in Southlake!! You can spare 71 freakin pennies. Youre probably a crappy tipper, as well. Theyre probably happy your frugal butt has quit calling.

The service was good and the prices are reasonable. The food options are expansive. The best part is the main course, and they do well on that part. The side dishes are okay, but not great. The egg drop soup is non-standard (mushrooms included). The fried rice is just rice, eggs, and corn. I would go back if I was in the area again, but I wouldnt make the drive just to eat here.

My daughter and I have gone a few times, disorganized staff. Last night the food was awful. Took forever, will not return. Poor quality taste, maybe not enough cook staff. Waited 50 minutes for entree. I prefer fresh food. Normally we have gone on other nights besides Friday, food was ok.

Decent food for the price. Many options on the menu. Staff has always been professional and pleasant. Wait time for entrees is 15 minutes after appetizers are served. Nothing superb here but a good value and good food. Better than most Asian eateries in the area.

After ordering delivery there for close to seven years, I called to order again tonight and my total was $14.29. Manager insisted that I pay the additional 71 cents to reach the $15 minimum. These 71 cents will unfortunately cost you a pretty loyal customer.

Golden China is the only chinese restaurant we visit. We love the atmosphere, the quality, quantity and the taste of the food. We have never had a bad experience in the 15 years we have been patronizing this restaurant.

The food has always been excellent and fresh. The lunch and dinner meals come with so much food!! The service can be hit or miss, but most times it is fine. Overall, we eat here frequently and enjoy the food!
