Where do I start! The only thing good about this place; was the delivery guy, he was nice!!! with that out of the picture let me explain: 1. The chicken&Broccoli was not "Chicken&Broccoli" but plain chicken(boiled) slapped with broccoli(steamed); nothing I could not have done myself with chicken and veggies from Sams club. 2. General Taos, which is why I order Chinese, was disgusting.... simple as that!!! 3.Orange Chicken: was a disaster as the general taos 4. Chicken lo meins texture first of all looked like it was passed through a paper shredder then served to us with hate!!! Not to mention the taste.. 5. Fried rice was decent but I am not ordering Chinese food to spend $40+ on Rice!!! Understand I am from Maryland, the Mecca of great Chinese food; like California and New York; All I ask of San Antonio is real Chinese food. The best place I have had here after multiple tries is "King Buffet" on Route 16 and 410. The lady was kind enough to give me my money back, full refund but had the audacity to tell me, "You ordered American Chinese food, not Authentic Chinese food" What does this mean, anyone? That is like going to an authentic Mexican restaurant and them serving a Taco Bell taco; not to mention it is called Wah kee AUTHENTIC Chinese Cuisine, Not Wah kee American and Authentic Chinese Cuisine..... I may also note, I have never written a bad review about anything in my life, but just wanted to warn the public to stay away from this place...

I hate having to write this. Ive been going to this restaurant since they were by Embassy Theater and every other location they moved to. But due to changing owners and bad up keep......this place is the worst. Ive contacted thd health department about the issue Im about to mention. A few nights back we ordered food to be delivered. The food arrived hot and fast and I thought great....then I started seperating out the food onto plates......when I first saw it in wasnt believing what I saw. I took a picture of it....zoomed in cause my eyes arent the best these days.....and sure enough it was a roach leg......needless to say I lost my appetite. This place needs to be closed down until they get their act together. They are tons of other options out there for Chinese....DONT GO HERE!

Our experience here was excellent. Our waiter was very nice and came over frequently to see if we needed anything. We ordered orange chicken and broccoli beef. Both very tasty. Lots of flavor. Our two daughters and my wife enjoyed the taste of both. We ordered 4 egg rolls as an appetizer. I think the total was 35...very good for the amount of food. Two orders was plenty for the 4 of us to eat. The restaurant was very clean. We just happened to find this place accidently when the wait at Olive Garden was an hour on a regular Sunday. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Especially if youre looking to eat well and not spend an arm and a leg. This area tends to be a bit expensive.

Ive been there twice, and both times were great. The service is fast, and friendly. The food comes to the table quickly as well. The rangoons are always super crispy, which is a must. The fried shrimp is a little unusual. Like maybe its chopped and formed shrimp? They are shaped like onion rings, not shrimp. They are still good, though...just not quite a shrimpy My only real issue is that the fish tank they have is FAR too small for the giant fish that live in it. It makes me sad :( But the portion sizes make me happy again. My family of four goes...we get four different dishes to share, and we have enough for at least two meals the following day.

This is one of the better Chinese places in town. We went for dinner on a Sunday evening and were surprised that it wasn’t busy. From the apps to the entrées everything was great! The menu is priced fair, you get your money’s worth and the options are plenty to choose from. They have specials that include: soup, rice, entrée and egg roll. The ambiance is nice too; the place is spacious and well kept. This one is Hidden off Blanco & 1604 behind the Luby’s and in the same complex as the Krav Maga. If you want good Chinese food you need to visit this place.

Walked in and put in take out order. Cheese rangoons were good. Got the steamed pot stickers and they were tasteless and they did not supply dipping sauce that I usually expect. I asked for steamed rice and got fried rice. Ordered the chicken fried rice and it was bland, the happy family was flat and I expected that a $10 order of orange beef would be a full order. Way over priced for portions and quality. I requested chili sauce on the side and this was the first time I was charged ($ .50 per ). I would not recommend this restaurant.

Went there with a group. The service was ok but all the food came out at different times. I got the orange chicken dish as I typically enjoy that. The steamed rice tasted like there was no salt in it and the chicken was bland which is surprising for Chinese food. The chicken pieces were also huge and had to cut many of them up to eat. This is saying a lot since I do not mind larger bites. I told my wife that I would never go back there

I discovered this restaurant several years ago and they have always been great. Service is the best in town IMHO. The food is always great, delicious. The only minor complain I may have is even though they do deliver food in the area, the food it is not as good as going to restaurant for some reason. So we always go to the restaurant and so far we have not had a bad meal here. It is very good.

They are consistent on how the food tastes, so this is a plus. We always order the toasted sautéed tofu as appetizer and to share during meals. Its addicting. Very crispy and with jalapeños and onions are the best complement. My children are very picky choosing restaurants. We tried many other Chinese restaurants and always end up comparing to Wah khee, the latter being the winner.

Great food at reasonable prices. It had been awhile but I was very glad to be back. Our server Ursula was very nice and carefully packed our leftovers. We had the crab and asparagus soup (its for at least 2 people),. Mu Shoo pork, and chicken Lol Mein. Everything was fresh and delicious! Portions were very generous. Highly recommended. Ill post pictures next time.

Suprisingly So delicious! Ive had a cold/ sore throat and really wanted some hot & sour soup. This place was on my way home so I decided to grab some to go. Also got Hunan chicken. Everything was so good, fresh & spicy! The chicken & vegetables were perfectly cooked. The soup tasted fresh and the egg roll was awesome! Definitely hit the spot when I was sick:)

We had it delivered, food was hot and delivery time was true to what they estimated. The food is good, appetizers were crunchy not soggy and the packing of the food was very neat no messy spillage and we had 2 orders of soup!!! No napkins or plastic ware but not that big of an issue. Will order from again for sure!!!!
