I order here pretty often. After about the 3rd call, the woman who answers memorized my order. She knows my voice, my partners voice, and the food we like. We get vegetarian noodle soup, tofu, and veggies. ( I cant tell you if other stuff is good or not, this was so good the first time its all weve ever ordered haha) When I call in, its always ready in 10 minutes, always hot, and they package to go orders separately so that its fresh when you eat it (noodles in a box, broth in a tub, veggies in a box etc). We have a small child, this actually makes it better because she can eat the stuff she likes without the things she wont touch, and I dont have to order her a kids meal. It is CRAZY affordable. We order 1 portion for 2 adults and a baby, and add extra tofu and veggies. They are very generous with portions. Most importantly to me, when I called in and doubled my order for a night we had friends, she asked if I had friends over and thanked me for showing them her food. Now, when I call, she says "Just one order today?" and reminds me about appetizers Ive ordered before to make sure Im getting everything I wanted. "I didnt think I wanted rangoons, but now that you mention it, I do!" I consider service to be a hugely important part of a restaurant. Its hard to get good service with carryout, but theyve done an excellent job.

Went with wife to have Mu Shu Pork. Plate arrived and waiter had no idea that he needed to "serve" the dish. I have had this dish in too many oriental establishment (40 years worth) too know that the server will take the very thin "pancakes", place them on the plate, and some hoisin sauce and place the filler on the pancake and roll it into a large eggroll looking item. Have no issues with other oriental location in SA doing a good job of this. The comment of the totally unaware server was that "you want me to make a taco?" He was clueless!. We have been going to this place for years, and recently have noticed a drop in the service, and the food is getting less traditional, or cutting corners. The Fried rice had drop in quality, but still the management needs to train the servers in the proper technique of oriental dish service. I did speak with the cashier, and she did not seem to get it. The start of a down hill trend. A shame really. On the positive, the spring rolls are great.

Inexpensive, delicious spring rolls, Chinese food and Pho. Taste of Asia is an amazing little restaurant that I have been fortunate enough to know about for 15 years.. It is casual dining restaurant with simple tables and booths. The initial service can be slow, they are family run and friendly. The food however is amazing. I have never had an unpleasant experience at Taste of Asia. Their spring rolls alone are worth the trip, with a combination of fresh lettuce, fried crunch and a dipping sauce which you create. This is delicious Chinese food (I recommend the lemon grass beef) and rich flavorful Pho again served with fresh herbs and vegetables. I heartily recommend this restaurant to everyone. I make a point of going there every time I travel to San Antonio.

We got lemon chicnen dinned and pho with brisket and glank. The food was poor, all the meat tasted freezer burned and was rather tough. The pho broth tasted watered down. The food was bland at best. The only good thing we had was the egg roll. The service was poor. I had to ask for lemon sauce for my lemon chicken. The waiter never came to check on us and spent most of the time in the corner talking with others. We waited a full 10 minutes after being done eating before he came back, then we had to ask for the check. I have been here in the past and it was not bad. Service was fine, food tasted good. But this time, it pretty awful. Ivm dont normally leave bad reviews, but Im honestly so disappointed in this place.

Taste of Asia has to be one of the best Vietnamese/ Chinese food places in town. When my husband and I go there we order the P19 and P32 plus the summer rolls and Spring rolls, they are all the best. The service is excellent, and it isnt badly priced either. We are always happy when we go here. Hell even our boys love this place. It is a must try if you havent been. If anything you must go just for the Spring Rolls alone, YUM!!! Be aware, that they are only open for lunch and dinner not in between (11- 2 and open up again at 5-?), I had to find this out the hard way.

Ive been coming here for 10+ years, but idk if they recently changed owners but the waitstaff are ALL new and horrible! No customer service manners at ALL! I had a hair in my soup and my waiter had to inspect the soup for the hair before taking it back and asked me "WHY" I needed a new soup! I understand it wasnt his fault, but as a server you should know the correct mannerisms. I MISS the old waitstaff and will come back if they do!! Until then...

Food was tremendous! The pho (being my first-time) and spring roll were really good! I have since tried other similar places, but constantly find myself referring back to taste of asia as the bar of standard of what it should taste like. Service is a bit lacking, but the food arrives very quickly and is indeed fresh. I try to go here every time im on this side of town.

The food was delicious and well proportioned for what we had gotten. Unable to rate customer service as we had chosen to pick up. We bought for 3 and could of easily shared for 4~5 people with generous portions. only negative thing I would say is the dinner menu is slightly over priced. I would recommend this to a friend and will be returning again.

The food is amazing! The staff is friendly. My family and I have been eating here for years and when we bring friends along, the staff is just as welcoming to new comers as they are to their regular customers. We drive over 20 minutes to come eat here, because the food is so good and we can not get spring rolls anywhere else that are this amazing.

Absolutely TERRIBLE.. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp and my co-worker ordered Mongolian Beef.. The shrimp tasted spoiled and the beef was paper thin rubber!! I never call and ask for my money back but this time I did.. This was the worst dining experience I have EVER had.. There are so many places in the area much better than this.. STAY AWAY!!!

Drove from New Braunfels to Taste of Asia because its just that good. Although I feel the place could probably be updated a little.. still with the service provided and the quality of the food i would recommend! My phone was loaded with beef and fixings, my husbands Vermicelli bowls was huge and tasty and the sesame chicken was on point!

I have been coming here for years and I have had pho in numerous places. I have had pho in a heavily Asian area of California and I still think that Taste of Asia beats all of them. Their pho combinations, portions, flavor is unbeatable....not to mention the amazing spring rolls. And try their chicken lemongrass. Sooo pleased always.
