We usually dine in at this restaurant with no issues. The take out is another issue. We ordered food to go over the phone and were told it would be 45 minutes. This was at 8:15, so no problem. I arrived at the restaurant at about 9:10 figuring that would have been plenty of time since it was Friday and I was sure they might be busy. When I got there the cashier just gave me a confused look when I gave my name for the order. She said nothing as her and apparently the night manager went through receipts. They finally found my order and I paid about $80 for. I then waited another hour and didnt get my food until 10:15. My daughter was with me to go pick it up actually fell asleep we waited so long in the small to go waiting area. Every time I asked if it was ready the cashier and night manager would say let me check, walk away and then come back and say a few more minutes. When the food finally came after I asked for a refund the cashier said she was sorry their service has never been this bad before and its gotten worse lately. After asking the cashier a couple questions, I figured out that my order was not put out to be made originally, the night manager and cashier were not communicating and mixing up tickets and mine had been concluded under another receipt or order somehow and instead of them telling me this when I arrived they just let me pay and failed to say it would be an additional hour to wait. Not surprising the order was also wrong. Bad service all around for To Go orders. Definitely wont order to go from them again. Service definitely not worth the price.

We have enjoyed coming here in the past. We have also had a few bad experiences here too, but it is a nice atmosphere and seems clean so we tried again. This however was our last time. We got here around 540p. It was very busy. The waitress came in about 5 minutes to take our drink order. She comes back with the drinks and takes our order. It took about 45 minutes to get our food. She came back a few times and said our food would be right out, but there was never any apology and no offer to bring anything other than refills. The last time that she came by she blamed the wait on my son for ordering the Orange Chicken which was on special. The food was good, but not worth a 45 minute wait. She brought the check and I made the mistake of asking for a manager. She grabbed the check and ran off. Ten or fifteen minutes passed and there was still no sign of her or the manager. Then the power went out. We understand these things happen, but at this point we just wanted to leave. We sent someone to find the waitress 2 times. She comes back and we tell her that we just want to pay and leave. She brings a manual credit card slip with our entire cc number on it with the expiration date on and says just leave the signed copy on the table and walks away. Finally we were able to leave at 710p. We never saw the manager.

the lunch special used to be 540 now the price to 625... and now its 725 for lunch??? 3 months. They raise the price of dollar I bet you buy February its going to be 825...., they use to have a location on Marbach Road it was 540 there for lunch they move to SW loop 410 is 625 and now the money hungry people raised a dollar more to 725 just for lunch I can go get olive garden for that much.. they like to take advantage of people its not fair to raise your price of lunch 2 dollars within 6 month being open at the new location even have to pay 10 cents for the container they give it to you in me and my whole entire family and all my friends are boycotting this is not right they just lost 63 peoples business because they want to raise the price Ive been going to go to golden wok ever since I was a kid I am 36 now and well never go back quit ripping people off bring your lunch back down to 540 or at least back to 625 I can tolerate that...... just a formal customer being ripped off... oh and you have to ask for utensils now are you kidding me?? expect me to eat my food with my fingers??

Great food but double check your take-out orders. The food here is definitely 4-5 stars, but beware when you take-out. I am a frequent customer at Golden Wok because I love their dim sum, and the lady who usually takes my order is very efficient and courteous. However, tonight I was very disappointed with the service I got. I had a different person taking my order this time (woman with an Asian accent), and when I came home and realized I was missing an item, I called back to make sure that the order wasnt charged. The same woman asked me to repeat my order again, and then argued with me that "Yeah, thats what you ordered." I told her indeed, I ordered everything I repeated but was missing one item. She said "We didnt charge you for that," then HUNG UP. She did not even apologize for her mistake, and still tried to argue with me on my order. Unfortunately, Ill suck it up because their dim sum is great, so I will be going back....I will just have to be careful with checking my order (this was not the first time I received the wrong order).

Very disappointing meal. My husband and I ordered separate appetizers. Took about 40 minutes to get one appetizer which my husband didnt want so he had to watch me and my mom eat. Then we got our food and started eating. The waitress looked at us and said nothing until I asked where the other appetizer was. Then she went to check on it and came back and said the manager would rush it right out. No manager came out but the appetizer finally did. This appetizer was spring rolls so it took almost an hour to get spring rolls. By that time my husband didnt want them. In fact we were all pretty full by then from all the water we drank waiting for our "appetizers". Then we had to ask for carry containers, but got no bag so had catch the waitress on her next pass. Then I had to catch her one more time to see if maybe we could have some fortune cookies? Finally my mother had a walker that the waitress had whisked away when we sat down. I had to go find that so my mother could walk out. Was the food good? If it was the service spoiled it.

I havent been to golden wok in a lonnnnnnng while(nothing against it). its just a bit outta my way, anyhowwwl i didnt even have to order anything or eat anything this particular visit. you see i had been attending the comic con down the street and had accidently locked the keys in my vehicle! so golden wok was the only place i could see in plainsight that would hopefully have a public phone i could use(twice the terror! as my phone had lost its signal strange enough!). but i didnt have to worry about that since the manager and cashier were VERY attentive to my situation! i was provided the use of the telephone and the number to a popalock service! this was very cool and above and beyond in my book! i got my phone working and eventually gained access to my vehicle. thanks a million golden wok! i WILL return whenever in the area THANK YOU!!!!!!!
