If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!! I typically come here often but the past 2 times have been an absolute mess! My first bad experience was when I went in to purchase 3 scoops of WHITE rice and they told me my total was $12 plus tax. I almost had a heart attack, I told them that was crazy and I walked out. The second time was the icing on the cake which was today. I ordered a to go order and asked for one of my orders to be a dinner portion since my kids were sharing the meal and the rest were supposed to be lunch portions. I went in to pick up my order and everything was charged as dinner except a childs burger and fries that I ordered for my other child. I told the guy Alex that it was wrong and that only the sesame chicken was a dinner portion. He said since all the meals were already made he would give me 10% off. I said well dinner portions are $3-$4 more. He said no the lunch portions are now $8.95 so my bill should even out. I opened a menu right in front of me and it clearly stated what I ordered was $7.95 a piece and not the $10.95 and $11.95 I was being charged. He proceeded to continue telling me the items were already made. I took the 10% and left because I wasnt getting anywhere with him. I got back to work and noticed the dinner portion doesnt come with a salad on one of the meals and that they forgot to give me chili paste for my other meal. I called and spoke to a female there which she never stated her name but she was the only one there that I saw on 07/06/2017about 11:20AM. I asked to speak with a manager and she asked me why I wanted to talk with a manager, I explained the situation and she said.. well what do you want us to do? I said well first of all put my order in right and second if its already messed up and Im unhappy at least make sure everything is correct and make sure you tell your customer certain things dont come with a dinner portion that does with a lunch (when in all reality I was expecting the lunch). She put me on "hold" and I could hear her talking and telling the guy that she didnt know what I wanted her or anyone there to do for me and that I walked out of here knowing I had dinner portions, received 10% off and Im still calling to complain. She also mentioned that Alex offered to remake my whole order but I said I couldnt wait, I was on my lunch break. NEVER once did Alex offer to remake my meals, the only option I had was 10% off of my order. I would have had to go back to my office and have everyone look at a menu from somewhere else to get a new order put in somewhere else. When she got back on the phone I told her that I heard what she told the gentleman and I was never given the option to wait for my meal to be made lunch portions so I could get EVERYTHING we were thinking we were supposed to be getting. I She then proceeded to tell me that a manager wasnt there and since I already took the 10% that they couldnt do anything else for me but to offer me another 10% off on my next visit. Well..... THERE WONT BE ANOTHER VISIT!!! Had they handled this situation much better I could have looked past a few things but they did a real crappy job of addressing the situation and her attitude SUCKED!!!! From the moment I walked in she had an attitude on her face and didnt look as she wanted to be there for her shift!

This place wasnt terrible but it certainly wasnt what I expected and not worth the price. I purchased the two person, all you can eat sushi for $56 ($80 normally) and so expected a sprawling menu and somewhat decent decor. Instead, I was welcomed by the hostess shaking her butt to club music in a dank restaurant with a very pathetic menu. The quality of the food was rather lackluster and the condiments were housed in community jars. Im pretty sure the latter was a health code violation. The lacking menu was my biggest regret. Ive been to similar places and it was always so that it was hard to decide what to get from the menu because the choices were overwhelming. Dont get me wrong, this place has a nice variety but you get a "special" menu for the all you can eat with mostly cheap and easy to make rolls. On the other hand, Im still giving them three stars for the following reasons. While the hostess was dancing as I arrived, who wouldnt when that type of music is in the background? She as well as the rest of the wait staff were very nice and accommodating. The food was indeed lackluster and not worth their price but it wasnt terrible and I didnt get sick. I only bring up the latter because I was afraid I might after scooping my wasabi out of a community jar and eating what looked like a pâté instead of tuna. This place could be great if they just embraced the setting theyre going with and made it into a hip sushi joint, lowered their prices to what theyre worth and changed the name and decor to suite their style and just roll with it. I wouldnt have been as taken back as I walked in, simply by them having a respective restaurant moniker.

Took the sushi class yesterday and was disappointed in the lack of preparation. The class was supposed to be from 230-430, we didnt even touch anything until 320. We were the third table there and ordered bubble tea. We were the last to be served and after 35 minutes of waiting for our drinks we were informed they ran out of tapioca (you have to reserve a seat so they knew how many people would be there). We finally got our drinks 15 minutes after that. They only teach two rolls, and you cant even cut or dress your own sushi. They brought out the plates and forgot our table and the table behind us. We finally waved a server down and asked for the plates for both tables. He came back with the other tables plates and forgot about us again. The chef finally noticed we didnt have our plates halfway through, and by the time we got them, everyone else was practically done. The chef was nice and entertaining, but he talked so much that the class went to 5pm. If they were better prepared and there wasnt so much talking, the class couldve easily been an hour instead of two and a half. $69 is not worth two rolls (didnt even include drinks) and your take home kit is just the bamboo rollers that you could buy for $5 on amazon. Instead of being fun, it ended up being a really irritating experience.

I dont know why this place has gotten 4 or 5 stars. I heard from a few people this place was great. I was highly disappointed. The place looks run down and dismal, I almost turned around and walked back out. I agree with the other reviews that state the sushi seemed to have a Mexican flair; Ive NEVER had or heard of sushi with cheese on it but ours did. I was even willing to give the place another chance and try their sushi class. Their sign said they offered classes on Saturdays, but our waitress said theyd changed that to Wednesdays (who was very nice but unattentive). So, two weeks later I call to ask about the sushi class... which apparently now is back to Saturdays!! We were also told the class was $40pp... but who knows if thats right either. I wont be going back for their sushi or their sushi classes. This place really needs to get their act together!
