Why do I keep giving this place a chance? Oh I know why because in the morning Im lazy and dont want to get dressed so I go thru the drive thru...but I still end up having to circle around ,go inside and get whatever item they are missing today. I started checking the bag immediately and started to catch what was missing before driving away.. seriously 8 out of 10 times. Smh. Today they were busy and the line was long so I didnt check while in the drive thru line. I pulled over and 4 tacos were missing. 4!!! They even started a new policy awhile back that if you left you could no longer call and get the missing item on your next visit. Lol they must have thought there were too many "fake" calls. No your staff really makes that many mistakes. It wasnt always this way but about 2 years ago the service went down hill. .exponentially. it seems like they have new management but again all I get is, "sorry about that." Give a five dollar gift card so you can keep track of how many mistakes you make. Dear owner, if you gave $5 comp cards for every mistake that your staff made you would realize really fast that something needs to change. That management needs to oversee and micro manage until your staff realizes they need to be vigilant and efficient at the same time. Your business is all about customer satisfaction and bringing them back. Your reviews here are not too great. I learned my lesson. Thats why I shouldnt be lazy and not want to walk 30 steps into Plazas right across the street which has never let me down.

The reviews seem to be good here but they are all older so perhaps things have changed. Ordered two items, one picadillo taco and an menudo. it was to go so my husband brought the food home. he had his taco and found a huge long almost braided looking piece of hair as he was halfway done with it. I procedeed to eat my menudo I was a bit cautious but thought I would give it a chance. I bit into my first bite and it was gelatanous and felt like I was eating meat flavored jello. disgusting. I have had menudo many places and am aware it is different everywhere but I have never had a bowl that i could not eat. I thought it was maybe that one piece but every bite got worse. I asked my husband to try it incase it was just me and his first instinct was to spit it out in the trash. We called and were offered no refund due to the fact the taco was eaten even though we did not find the hair until it was almost done. We were offered more of their disgusting menudo and just gave up. We have had items in the past that were ok but if you enjoy good quality menudo and customer service do not come here.

We walk in and wait about 5 minutes. Theres 5 woman chatting by the register and they all see us. I get tired of waiting so my boyfriend walks up to get menus. One lady hands another lady menus and comes to our table. This place has no lemons for the water. She fails to bring chips and salsa out. After we walk back up to ask for them she says there cooking. When she brought the chips out they looked double cooked and taste like it too. She brings the food out and the quesadilla had no pico even though the menu states it comes with. She never came back to the table once to check on us. Perhaps because she is too busy with her other 5 tables. This place used to be great and now its crap. Over priced Mexican food. The servers name is Jossy. Maybe Jossy is having a bad day. All I know is I wont be coming back to this restaurant. This restaurant is going down hill super fast!

I usually go to the Tink-a-Taco on 8181 Tezel Road, but living in a different area I decided to take my friends to the one on 2919 Blanco Road....BIG MISTAKE, The service was slow and the food was very different, Ive always gotten the same Beef Quesidilla and always comes w/side of Guacamole, that was at the Tezel location, not at this one so I asked where the side was, so I got it, the Quesidilla itself was smaller but then I got my bill and they charged $3 for the guacamole, i was told that they are a franchise that are owned by different owners, ok so let me get this straight, I go to McDs and I got to pay extra for the special sauce on the Big Mac? Never will go to this location again

The wait staff was lacking in Customer service. The one waiter that was working never made an attempt to check if refills were need. Never stopped by the table to see if things were fine. The other waiter never made an attempt to serve tables just sat down on his phone and looked on as people came in. The person that looked to be the manager didnt get on his staff for paying more attention to their phones instead of customers. Even the manager himself was sitting down and on his phone. Service at this location has steadily been failing and today was the biggest fail. This was my last favorite location for this chain.

I was about 89% disappointed with the whole place. Something happened to the quality of food here, just within the last year. My plate was so horribly plated, and dull tasting. THE BEANS, oh the beans like soup and watery. Rice tasted very off (not fresh). My dinner companions Guisada was served lukewarm!! We politely addressed those concerns to the waitress, both at the table and the register, and she just said "sorry". Also the 3 huge tvs are on, and the kitchens music is so loud, you can barely hear any of them. No respect, no standard. Wont go back here, even though they used to have good home made corn tortillas.

Wow! I just went there this morning and the staff is rude. I mean all I asked for is green salsa, and then I get it with not only attitude, but the cashier visibly rolls her eyes at me!!!! Im not the only one who noticed the eye rolling, another customer near me asked if I had seen it, too! I am never going there again. Yeah, it is close to my house, but Id rather drive a little bit further for better service and better quality food! If I could give a lower rating I would. All of this because I politely asked for "salsa verde"!?

This is the best taco place I have found in a long time. Their puffy tacos are awesome!!! The service is excellent the restaurant & restrooms are clean and well maintained. The waitresses are very attentive to their customers. I enjoy the breakfast as well.....huevos rancheros GREAT! Their salsa verde is my favorite & the flour tortillas are terrific. I cant say enough good things about this Tink-a-Tako. Keep up the good work Management & Employees.

Dont ignore the other reviews that say they have gotten sick here! It is true! The moment we walked in and saw all the filth it was a true sign to run away! The food was very nasty and was simply reheated garbage... they had no shame in it either... my gf and I have both become very ill and may even need to go see a doctor. STAY AWAY! Tink A Tako should remove their franchising title as this establishment doesnt not represent a true Tink A Tak.o
