Saw the negative reviews, had an awesome first time experience, couldnt hesitate to write a review of my own (this is my first review). Was craving some Chinese food at 10:30pm and most places are closed on a Monday by that time, but I managed to find this place that closes at midnight. Was hesitant due to the reviews, but anyways I ordered carry out, sesame chicken ($11.99) and subbed lo mein ($3)and it came with an egg roll. Got there, payed, and decided to eat there since I was starving. I already tipped so the server had no incentive to give additional service but went above and beyond nonetheless. Server was very friendly and without hesitation replated my meal and got me a drink. Asked for some duck sauce or sweet and sour and he gave me both. He asked if it was my first time and what brought me in and told me about the karaoke they have Wednesday nights and a piano player another night (cant remember which). Lo mein was awesome, full of flavor. Chicken was great too, but couldve been a little more crispy. Egg roll was great too. The only thing I would change is the prices. $3 to sub a side of rice for lo mein is steep to me. Will definitely be returning!

Let me tell you, I ordered the Shrimp with Lobster sauce with shrimp fried rice, hot and sour soup with spring rolls. I had it delivered to my job, it took about 30 minutes due to the distance from the restaurant. When I received my food it was hot, very tasty and plentiful. My shrimps was huge and plenty of them not those small shrimps or large shrimps they cut in half to make you feel like you have a lot of shrimps. my plate was filled with huge delicious shrimps , my shrimp fried rice was filled with shrimps, it was amazing to see all these shrimps on my plate. Paul was super friendly and has great customer service, he was very welcoming and took his time explaining deals to me, the delivery guy was super friendly and ensured my order was correct, this is by far the best chinese food I have had since moving to San Antonio, this will be my favorite spot to eat from this point forward. Great job, I will refer all my guest to your restaurant and anyone else who would appreciate a delicious inexpensive taste for chinese food.

had delivery to the hotel I am staying at.. 1) they didnt give any utensils. 2) the egg rolls were burnt. 3) the crab Rangoon was barely filled with anything 4) the rice was OK, not good though. It was just rice, no vegetables or anything in it. 5) they barely filled the container with chicken, I got the general Tsos and it doesnt really taste like anything. Theres barely any sauce on it also. The only real reason I gave them 2 stars was bc it got here quick. Other from that, ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!! It was $35 for two meals, I wouldve rather just gotten something from the vending machines at the hotel.

My husband and I ordered from Sun Sun for the first time yesterday and I wish we would have picked a different location. The food was late, cold by the time we got it, the order was completely messed up, and I was sick after eating it. When I called in to see if they could fix it or be refunded for the food not received I was told that they "couldnt and wouldnt" deal with my bs. Now, Im not sure where asking for a correction of an error is considered bs but clearly they are lacking in customer service. Long story short: save your money and avoid this place. Zero stars if it would let me

Not the best nor worst (but leaning more so to the latter). The quantity of the food was the one saving grace. What should you expect though coming from a place that serves pizza and Chinese. My girlfriend and I both agreed that we would have been better off going to Panda Inn or a similar chain type of restaurant. The food either lacked flavor or had a peculiar taste to it. The rice was decent but that was about it. While the food was at least edible, I will not be ordering from here again.

The guy advertising the restaurant was really nice but they told me to expect my delivery within the hour & didnt come until an hr & a half later, my chicken was still pink, my steamed rice was still hard & the rangoons were cold. & they over priced! My plate said 6.99 & i was told it needed to be $14 for delivery so they added a tea & my total was $14.08! Thats crazy that a price of tea is the same as a plate! Sad i had high hopes for this place. I wish i wouldve read the reviews first.

Had delivery. First they charged us for food and we did not receive it. Got most of our order but not all of it. Then when the delivery guy delivers our food while my husband and brother in law collect the plates from him he looks at us and says "no tip". The broccoli in my beef and broccoli taste like it has dish soap in it and beef taste like its been sitting there for hours. Manager said everything was made fresh and theres nothing they can do. It was not work the money we paid.

AWFUL. DO NOT EAT HERE. food was hard as a rock and cold on the inside. "Fried rice" was overlooked and soggy and a weird yellow color, crab meat Rangoon had no crab just disgusting flavored cream cheese. Everything was way overpriced and the guy taking orders talked so slow it took forever to order cuz he kept interrupting me to ask questions instead of letting me go throw the order. Riverwalk Plaza hotel recommended and I told them they should stop because it was horrible.

THE WORST CHINESE IVE EVER ATE IN MY WHOLE LIFE. My rice was crunchy. they dont cook general tso chicken in the sauce. they give you a cup of sauce. I should have known better when I seen the Italian menu on the back. If you like fake Chinese food or microwave Chinese food youll love it. Please Sun Sun leave the cooking Chinese food to Chinese people!!! Manager/ Owner is rude about customer complaints. poor customer service. PEOPLE PLEASE DONT WASTE UR MONEY!!

Ordered for delivery at the motel my friend and I were staying at. Waited an hour and forty minutes for delivery, we were quoted at least an hour. For 2 dinners, appetizer, 2 drinks, plus delivery was $45 (rounded up). Delivery fee of $6.99. We just went to a restaurant down the road, ordered our food, they finally showed up. 2 hours for delivery. Didnt try the food but after the reviews, looks like we were better.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Do not waste your time and money ordering from Sun Sun. It is disgusting and over priced. Drove in from Canton TX for Sea World and got to our hotel decided to order in. Staff at hotel recommended Sun Sun. Food is bad. Its a wonder how this place is still open. We trashed all that we ordered (family of 6 worth) and had to go buy else where. Would not recommend this place at all.
