Syntax Error
One of the few Chinese buffets on the south side of San Antonio. Selection of food here is pretty good, and sushi quality above par for many of the buffets in town. Some of the items I enjoy here are the sour cream cake on the desert bar, the wide selection of sushi that includes seaweed salad, and the Mongolian beef. Service here is generally good, its been rare Ive had poor service, maybe once in a dozen or more visits. Prices here are very fair, and cheap for lunch. Lunch buffet is very comparable to dinner, with only a few items missing, crab legs, fried crabs, and some other seafood items. Included with the buffet is the option of Mongolian BBQ, but I have not been impressed by the results. I feel they need a better sauce selection. One of my favorite Chinese buffets on the south part of San Antonio. Ive been eating here since they first opened and will continue to visit as long as the quality of the food and pricing remains the same. I would consider it priced overly fair for what you get.

The restaraunt was dirty. Upon walking in, I heard a medley of people coughing all around the food area. The regret I felt for choosing buffet city was immediate. If I could describe the atmosphere in one word, it would be "musky". Doesnt make sense? Visit them, and youll get it. The food was basically stuff youd find in the frozen aisle at Walmart, kept warm over hot water. Had I seen roaches, I honestly would not have been surprised. Heres the part Google probably doesnt want me to get in detail about, but the next day, I had a China sized case of diarrhea. Id say, if you want to go and have an all around unpleasant eating experience, featuring: children running amok, outrageously overpriced subpar cuisine, unsanitary conditions, and dimly lit areas surrounding the dirty table they seat you at, go check out Buffet City.

2 reasons :we got there late afternoon.I took my 90 yr old grandfather. We ate half way threw our meal.we payed for our food.during our meal my father inlaw wanted one last plate so he got some crab legs 2 of them.he ate them.we got up.as we were walking out.some lady stopped us.and said,you need pay more money .over and over.we could not understand her very well.I said ,why we already paid for our bill.she said Old man ate 2 crab legs....pay 3 dollars more.I told her no one told us this.she said I dont care.3 dollars. So beware,number 2,the servers are alway wanting you to pay your bill min,s after you get your food.I did it one time and paid my bill early.they never brought me back my credit card. I had to ask for my card back.also very limited selection

My wife and I are sitting and eating our food, I look up and see two roaches on the wall. We have been here many times before, but this will be the last. We told our waitress and she attempted to grab the roaches off the wall, they fell onto our table, and at that point I just had to walk away. The gentleman at the counter already heard what had happened and said he wouldnt charge us. He said that they just had the exterminator out to try and take care of the problem. He said they try and keep the place as clean as they can. My thoughts... If you know you have a roach problem, take care of it and make sure your restaurant is clean before you invite people to come eat at your establishment. You are dealing with peoples health here.

I have been going to this restaurant for a while now and I have overlooked the fact that their food has gotten worse in quality as well as the restaurant itself not being as clean as it used to be. But today was the last straw I found out that I have been charged three times for my meal as well as my friend being charged triple for the meals that she paid for. When I called the restaurant to ask them if I could speak with a manager I was flat out told no by the cashier that answered the phone and he told me that theres nothing that he could do to help. And sadly he said this wasnt even the first time it happened that he had gotten many other complaints about people being triple charged.

Food was disgusting! At a broccoli and had to spit it out bc it was so horrible . I cant even describe the taste, it was like nothing Ive tasted before and it left that nasty taste in my mouth for awhile. The sesame chicken made me feel like I was eating a rat or something, it did not taste normal or like any meat ive eaten before & the texture was just weird. Rice tasted like they used way too much soy sauce. Only thing I could really enjoy was the fried shrimp. Will not be going here again. My husband did not like his food either. I had not ate all day and was starving hence why we went to a buffet, didnt satisfy at all.

Love their shrimp cocktail sauce, so always eat my weight in boiled shrimp when Im there! Very fresh shrimp too. Great enchiladas for a Chinese buffet too, so always have one of those covered in green onions. Taste like my Mommas! Always have a steak w/teriyaki sauce - dont judge til youve tried it! & pot stickers w/their good potsticket sauce! This place is the bomb of Chinese buffets in San Antonio! Been open a few years now & quality is still awesome! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! <3 :)

Place was amazing! As a Chinese buffet fanboy Im glad I went here and my fiancé loved it too and shes the picky one. Place is very clean and workers there are very nice and friendly and not to mention that theyre always on the ball of getting your drinks and plates. Food is great and if you love sushi there is literally a sushi bar with it on all four sides with different types with its own personal sushi maker there ready to take your order. Will definitely be going here again

There was an ALIVE ROACH on the dessert table on the buffet!!! I almost wanted to expel the food I had already eaten. I had just got a fresh plate of food, but promptly sat it down grabbed my purse and my fiance, paid the bill, paid for the meal and told the waitress what I had seen. She said she would "go check it out," but I hate to say it...theres nothing you can do but close the place and exterminate because where theres one roach theres 100+ where you cant see them.

This place is an excellent restaurant buffet all the TVs have captions on so you can still enjoy entertainment and personally Im a sushi person this place has high quality made sushi the best so far Ive had here in San Antonio and Ive eaten at a lot places in San Antonio the staff is excellent and they let you get the lunch price if you dont eat the dinner foods most places arent like that my favorite place to go on the southside.

My grandmother, brother and I went yesterday and found some sort of paper in the sweet and sour soup. We told the waitress and all she did was take the soup and discuss with some of the staff and just told us to go and pay... Nobody apologized at all for the pieces of paper found in the soup and didnt say they would fix it either... Wouldnt recommend going here since its unsanitary and the service is obviously horrible.
