I ordered eggplant parmesan. The eggplant was rotten. I dont mean didnt taste very good; I mean it was putrid to the point of stinking. The waiter gave my girlfriend my eggplant by mistake (even though he thought he was handing her the lasagna she ordered), and trying to be a good sport she actually ate a couple of bites of it thinking that it tasted funny. When we realized his error, we swapped plates and as soon as it was in front of me I realized it stank. Also wanting things to go smoothly I thought, maybe this is just really exotic seasoning so I took a bite and immediately had to use my napkin to retrieve the bite from my mouth; the taste-test confirmed what the smell-test made me suspicious of, that it was rotten. From just putting that rotten bite in my mouth that evening I suffered gastric distress and had to make numerous trips to the bathroom. My girlfriend, who ate 2 bites of it, had to call in to work sick the next day. What amazes me is that food professionals, the waiter and the cook, gave us that putrid stinking food while, presumably, since they are food professionals and work with that exact food daily, knew that smell was not the smell of normal food; they must have known it was rotten. Rotten food is dangerous to eat. Therefore, intentionally giving rotten food to a customer is not an innocent error; it should be punished by legal action.

I dont even know where to begin there were so many things wrong. I sat for 15 minutes and no waiter, no water, no service. I noticed one waiter frantically running around waiting on about 10 tables by himself and hoped that was not my waiter. Yep it was. Appetizer came out in a reasonable amount of time, but it was the saddest looking plate of calamari I have ever seen. The "marinara" sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce out of a jar. I also ordered a Cosmo which didnt make it to the table. Salads arrived and were basically wet lettuce with a slice of tomato on top. Still no Cosmo. My pizza arrived, but no entrees for the rest of my party so I waited.....and waited. About 15 minutes later, I inquired about the rest of the entrees. Still had no drink and now my pizza was cold. The other entrees finally arrived and I was given a fresh pizza. The food was just okay and definitely not worth the price. Halfway though the pizza, my Cosmo finally arrived after I watched my waiter go behind the bar and make it himself! I would have asked to speak to a manager, but apparently they dont have one. For a place that promotes itself as a family owned business, it wont be in business much longer if it doesnt correct their front of the house issues.

It was ok experience. I went there with my girls before the show at Wortham Center. The restaurant was in front of the theater. All of us met before the show to have dinner. It was my friend birthday. She loves Italian food. We waited 15 minutes to be seated, i understand restaurant was busy. Hostess was slow and lost and she didnt know where to seat us. Then the other girl,(waitress), asked us if we want some drinks while we were waiting. it was very sweet. Finally we found the table outside. The same waitress who offered the drinks sited us She sincere apologized for the inconvenient situation. She was very professional and polite. We ordered a bottle of Italian wine, calamari appetizer, shrimp fettuccine alfredo, small margarita pizza, seafood soup, and lasagna. Wine, bread, and salads were served right away. Then we got the pizza. However we were waiting for our main dishes almost an hour and a half. we stayed there only because of the waitress. She was very nice and explained that the chef at the kitchen was very busy and that he was short in people that day. The service was great, wine was overpriced, the food took too long. I will not be back.

Worst restaurant ever !!! I rarely write online reviews, but eating at Little Napoli was such a terrible experience that I must warn others that are considering dining there. To start the meal, bread was brought out with olive oil and vinegar. The olive oil was disgusting and tasted like vegetable oil. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was the worst thing I ever ate. The eggplant was cut very thick and it was extremely chewy and rubbery. It was so bad, in fact, that I had to send it back, and I ordered the cheese pizza instead. Strike one. Now, I have have never done anything like that before, which says a lot for how terrible it was. After 15 minutes, the waitress brought the pizza, except it was not the pizza I had ordered! Strike two. I sat and ate it because all my trust in the restaurant was gone. Neither the waitress nor the manager did anything to resolve this problem. Strike three! I had high hopes for this restaurant, but I will NEVER ever go back, and I strongly recommend any else to stay away from this restaurant.

IF I COULD GIVE YOU ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!! A couple of friends and I were coming out of a concert on a Friday night at 950 pm. We went in and asked if they were still open and the hostess response was "no were not." However they had just seated a couple. I approached the couple and asked them if they were eating there, their response was "yes we are eating here and they should be open." I go back into the restaurant and ask the hostess what their hours of operation were again - she tells me they are open until midnight. Completely contrarily to what was previously said to us. I believe we were completely and clearly discriminated against. We obviously had just come out of a concert and we were wearing t-shirts and jeans. I called the manager and was not given much assistance. Horrible customer service. Apparently you need a suit and tie to be able to order a pizza!

Went to Little Napoli with my husband and 2 other couples for a quick dinner before a show. Two of us ordered a dish that was covered in the same sauce. The sauce was way too salty and could not be eaten. The waiter did comp each salty dish $10, which only reduced the cost of the entrees. Two people at our table ordered angel hair pasta. One got fettuccine noodles, and the other got spaghetti noodles. We didnt have time to wait for new plates to come out so we just ate what we didnt order. We mentioned to our waiter as FYI and he wasnt the least bit apologetic. And when we received our bill, we were charged for 2 glasses of wine that we did not order. Hostess was very polite but the rest of the staff not so much. I doubt Ill be back.

Im not usually picky about restaurant service, but this was poor service. The place was not busy, yet I had to keep flagging down our server. We were sitting at our table for 5-10 minutes before we were even greeted. The house salad was nothing more than a plate of lettuce with some olives on it. After the salads came out, I had to remind the server that we never got our drinks. And thats because there was apparently no bartender at the bar. I understand that sometimes during busy nights, servers have lots of things to do, but this was a Thursday night, and the restaurant was half empty. Yet, our server was never to be seen. I ordered a chicken parmesan that tasted like it came from a frozen tv dinner. I was really disappointed.
