Left the waiter $2 tip in quarters at the table so I didnt have to put a tip on my card which is another thing, waiters hovering over you every minute while you eat expecting a nice tip at a buffet but back to the $2 tip... as Im paying at the cashier I see the waiter coming back from a table and I guess he had four or five of his friends eating at another table and I saw them all look towards me as some were pointing. Apparently he was complaining of me leaving him quarters as a tip so they all got up from their seats (so they could look over a railing and catch a glimpse of who dared to leave quarters as a tip...apparently) and looked in my direction. I just told the cashier what just happened and told her next time I just wont leave the guy that tip but there wont be a next time because Im not going back. And like everyone else on here I think the food was horrible...so great combination if you want crap food AND service

I came here not knowing what the price was. When I saw the dinner offerings, I thought I was in for a pricy ticket. They have a seafood soup thats actually bursting with - wait for it...seafood! A delicately baked white fish that wasnt talapia! (They had talapia, too.) Fried whole shrimp that are only lightly floured (although they also had crispy, butterflied shrimp), a sushi bar, coconut shrimp, a full salad bar, shrimp ceveche style, ribs, and all the other dishes you would expect to find at an Asian buffet plus Mongolian BBQ. To put it to the test, I brought my picky kids (6 and 17), and my dad who has a sensitive stomach. They all loved it! Had no issues at all! When the check arrived, I was surprised at how inexpensive it was! I would confidently say its worth a try! There is something for everyone here.

If I could give -10 stars I would. This place had the worst tasting food from any other Asian buffet I have ever tasted in my life. The only salvageable foods were the chicken skewers and the string beans. All other foods had some weird and nasty flavor. The Mongolian grilled food was rancid and overlycooked (I guess to kill whatever was festering on the raw foods) the sushi was not fresh at all, the broccoli and beef dish had a sour aftertaste...and the water tasted like it was just harvested from a chlorinated cess pool in the back of the joint. Shortly after leaving the place in a hurry, I felt sick (surprise surprise). Do your self a favor and avoid this place for your own good. Go to a regular Chinese restaurant if youre in the mood to east something half way decent.

Ate at this location right after they opened. Had been eating here previously when it was "China Sea". Was completely let down by the food which lacked flavor. Service was OK, buffet selection was not fantastic, but had enough items to give you a good choice of entrees. Tried many items on the buffet but ultimately gave up trying to find something I really enjoyed and just ate enough to be full. At first I thought maybe the items were lacking salt, but I was wrong, the addition of salt just made them saltier and didnt help to enhance the flavor at all. My two friends who were eating dinner with me both agreed that the food was sub par, needed more flavor and was rather disappointing. I have not returned to the location since my first visit.

The food was good, but terrible service. We arrived at 9:30 and asked if we could still have dinner. They received us, only to inform us that no more food nor iced tea was being served, and they started picking up the food trays... The waitress had an annoyed face when helping us and they kept asking us to pay over and over again. Worst experience! If you decide to come, make sure there is enough time for you to finish your meal or if you own/manage this place, avoid receiving customers when youre about to close.

One of the best if not the best Asian buffet in San Antonio. Fantastic assortment of entrees, sides, sushi, salads, and soups. And then there is the dessert area. My friend had an assortment of cakes, puddings, and fruits. I fell in love with the chocolate espresso mousse cake. My skinny greedy friend after consuming 7 full plates made a comment... the only thing missing was vanilla ice cream. I promptly pointed out the machine at the end of the stir fry bar. Definitely a place to go back to. Great staff also.

So my cousin and I went the worst food ever. The crawfish wasnt clean. The snow crab was cold. The food didnt have no type of season. The egg rolls was brunt. The sushi suck ect. I wish I could get my money back. When I say the water and lemon had more flavor yall would think I was lying. The restaurant was clean looking but the food was horrible. they gave use the bill as soon as they gave our beverages. Dont come here dont let this 4.1 fool you. Its more like 1.0. Need a cook.

I am not a fan of buffets, but this place had some flavorful dishes. Visited for Mothers Day and the spread was great. The price of the buffet was raised a few dollars than what was on the website, but glad we tried it anyway. The staff was attentive and was constantly clearing our plates and refilling drinks. The buffet items were constantly getting restocked, cleaned and food was hot (or cold for the applicable items). I will definetly go back.

Only reason giving two stars instead of one the last time I was here the food was phenomenal I got sick I ate so much this time I couldnt even finish half a plate the food was horrifying the frog legs alone 2 pieces so covered in salt Im wondering if they dumped a whole bag of salt in one small skillet I couldnt even taste the Pepsi under all the sodium even the egg drop soup the only thing done right to fight was the ambience and the so so sushi

A lot of hype. The commercial/ad about the quality of this place was or is exaggerated. Yes, its clean and looks good but the selection is average, with quality being the same. Its also more expensive than the average Chinese buffet with no cause. Compared to King Buffet, Ill stay with King Buffet which has a better selection and averages out to about $6 dollars cheaper at diner time. My wife and I wont be back.

We just feasted on New Years Day for 11.99 each! Everything was excellently prepared, fresh and tasty. My favorite selection was the coconut shrimp, but there were at least 4 shrimp choices (from cold peel-and-eat to garlic shrimp, etc). The baked salmon was delicious also, with so many other items to choose from, from rice to fresh pineapple to pot stickers and sushi. We will be back soon!!

This time met a male server. When he come with receipt he instructed us where to put tip and where to put totals. This is a kind of disrespect to Americans and these oriental gumbo took time teaching chineese stink over American courtesy. I did forgive how they behaved but they still out there. (2) Owner never apologies what they have been doing. They only thank good thank you writers.

Maybe its because its new, but this is really a lovely ambiance. I dont think Ive ever been to a buffet, where the hot entrees are non stop steaming and the salad is crispy fresh. Service was excellent. Hope it maintains its topnotch approach to flavor and service. Music is upbeat too, didnt once hear the panpipe version of "My Heart will Go On".
