When we walked in the girl in the front did not immediately greet us (we were the only ones that walked in at that time) she continued her conversation with her co-workers. We were greeted when her conversation was over, without a smile. Mind you, they have a sign up that says no cell phones at the register to give them all your attention, shouldnt the customer receive the same attention in return? We then walked up to the hostess who was actually sitting down at a table with other co-workers. She got up, without a smile, asked how many, I said 4 and she gave us 3 forks. When we were shown to our table I asked her if they had high chairs because we needed one, she said, "Yes." I thought she was going to get it for us since thats what most restaurants do, she didnt, she went to go back and sit with her co-workers. I saw an empty table with a high chair I asked a gentleman working there if I could take it, he offered to take it to my table. That gentleman was great, he smiled, he was friendly even when my son was misbehaving and I was embarrassed. He always made sure our table was clean. This mans name is Oscar and he was the only good aspect of our first and last experience at Grand China. They need new employees at the front.

Excelente variedad de platillos Variedad de Sushis , Takis , Camarones desde salados a dulces , diferentes preparación de incluso picosos . Salmón, pez ensaladas variadas. Un sin fin de platillos para escoger, también cuentan con postres y nieve. Fruta fresca de temporada.. De exquisita sazón. Lo recomiendo al 300℅

I went during lunch hour and it was very crowded. Despite this it was very clean ( including the restrooms!) and the service was good. Our used plates were quickly removed.Our water cups were filled several times. The sushi was good and there was a wide variety of food from deep fried American food to orange chicken and egg rolls ,sushi , Mongolian grill , some fruits and deserts ( puddings, pies, cookies etc). The lunch price at about $10 is fair for what they offer. Its worth the trip.

My sister and a friend of mine , took them to eat there.. Service was the worst the waiter said she had balls and was not scared to fight my sister.. So I called to speak with the manager the wont give any information ... In an (Yvette) is the waiters name.. I called they hang up.on me wont even let me talk ... Very bad service , .. Me being a business owner knows how important my ratings are on Google.. Thats why I called to try to resolve this issue!!!! Never come here again

Very deciduous buffet with a wide variety of food to select, but the service is very impersonal ‼ You are rush to eat so they can turn the tables for more customers. When the waitress feel you had enough to eat, they will take away your drinks & slam down the fortune cookies. Indirectly telling you to go & get out ‼ The service staff is what is substandard ,rude and not customer friendly ‼

Went there for date night with my husband and found hair baked into mussels with cheese ...really gross I complained to waitress she agreed it was human hair , and overlooked it I then informed manager on duty ..same thing I will never go back as a matter of fact I think health inspector should be called in as other food tasted days old eeewww!!!

Dont get cute and ask for no fork. If you MUST be a jerk and use chopsticks just ask for chopsticks. The got ice cream back. They keep your soda topped off. Ive only ever seen one person lectured about portion sizes but the guy was a repeat offender. (not anyone in my party) They keep the trays small so fresh stuff is set out all the time.

The worst customer service Ive ever received and got kicked out unjustly for trying to talk to a manager. The cashier simply ignored us and decided on her own to just give us a refund. Its ridiculous how they change the price every time we go to visit. They charge $15 per person now. Would not recommend going to at all.

The managers are the rudest and least accommodating people in the restaurant business. They refused to let my family seat in the same section, so we got a refund and left. Chilis on the other hand welcomed our group and treated us wonderfully. The Grand China owners lost 15 hungry patrons for life.

Always full. Always a great place to eat. They just need to CLEAN up the place a little more. SPOT cleaning is definitely necessary. For example the floor looks grungy with a lot of stains. Some seats have rips and tears. For such a pricey place .... I expect a superb atmosphere.

Good place to eat has nice variety of food and very clean the sushi is not as good as in someother places though dont like all the game machines in the entrance since they are really old and not well taken care off kind of brings down the restaurants elegant look, waiters are very nice.

The food is great. I must say that we always sit in a particular area because that area is taken care by this really nice lady and she is always making sure we have everything. The price is a bit high, I must say. The place is usually cleaned.

There is a great variety of Chinese and American food! They also have their own Mongolian style stir fry where the chef cooks your noodles and its delicious! There is a little bit of a wait on Sunday mornings but any other day its calm.

Same type of buffet found all over the Rio Grande Valley, and the same tasting food to go with it. The only thing better about this place compared to the rest is the atmosphere. They scored a pretty snazzy joint.

It is pretty good, but unfortunately when I went to select sushi, the avocado seemed old, it was already turning brown. Other than that, the selections and variety in over all food was great.

I noticed the lights from the buffet table were too close to the food and when you would try to scoop food up with the spoon it would touch the light and it was all dirty and oily.

Chinese buffets in the Valley are nothing special but at least you wont wind up with salmonella here. Its pretty clean inside and the wait staff is usually friendly.

If you love sushi, coming here is a must. They have a great variety and the buffet is around $12 with drink for lunch. The food is food and the place is always clean.
