Tonight my boyfriend and I came in for the very first time at around 8:30 p.m. and I sadly, wont be coming back. I was hoping to find a nice mom n pop local pizzeria to give my business to. We ordered a supreme to go and waited at one of the tables for awhile for our order. We received what we thought was our order and I checked it when we got to the car and it was clearly a meat lovers. (The difference is mostly in that there are vegetables on the supreme and no ham, and also the supreme is much more expensive). I wouldve let it slide but we were charged for a supreme and wanted to get what we ordered. So we go right back inside and the cook says that he was just telling the counter girl that he had made a mistake, indicating that they were aware of the mistake and he says, "Oh, Ill just throw the extra toppings on it for you." We ask if they had just had a mix-up because it seemed unlikely that they would make such a mistake considering how slow they had seemed at the time. Its not like it was dinner rush time. (Mind you my boyfriend and I have both worked in pizzerias as well as large chains, and not once would it ever have been acceptable to just throw on the forgotten toppings at the end, uncooked!) We thought this was absurd, and said we didnt want the ham on it anyway. The guy said he would make us a larger size than we ordered to "make it up to us" and so we sat and waited again. It was correct and we brought it home and realized that the crust was still doughy and not a pleasant consistency. It was obviously taken out of the oven prematurely. I would presume so as not to keep us waiting longer, but I wouldve waited the extra 5-10 minutes for a properly cooked crust. The one good thing is that the cheese and toppings tasted fresh. Thats it. More important to me was the lack of sincerity about their mistake, and also the lame offer to give us some makeshift partially cooked form of what we had wanted. It was clear in their demeanor that they had a hard time faking some sort of apology for something they also seemed aware of before we barely explained as we came back inside. I got the feeling they were hoping we wouldnt notice the mistake. Overall, 2 people to eat (1 lg supreme but we got the family size due to mistake, 2 side salads, and two drinks) cost us $30 in total and a 45 minute wait. Definitely NOT worth it.

Absolutely awful! The cashier was unbelievably rude and when our food finally arrived it was orange colored cheese pizza, presumably from heat lamps, on a dirty pizza pan. She also brought one plate for myself and my friend who went with me. She said nothing every time I said thank you, after she dropped the pizza and plate in front of us and began to walk off I asked for a second plate, she gave me a nasty look, grabbed a plate from under the counter (dirty?) and dropped it on our table from about 6 inches. It clattered down as she walked off. The place is filthy, I had to wash my hands and arms when we came next door to whataburger because they were sticky from the table. We decided not to eat the cold orange pizza, school cafeteria rejected, and just left. Her attitude was so awful we didnt bother asking for money back, it was worth the $9 just to get out of there!!! Save your stomach and your wallet the trouble and just head to whataburger! Truly AWFUL!!

Have to admit somewhat could see how the cashier is rude. When I came in for my carryout order, she was on the phone and you could tell by her demeanor that it was a personal call. I waited for a very brief moment when she stood up and helped me. I had never been here before and had an open mind. Now onto the pizza...We got the giant and I must say I was impressed with the size of it. If I must be very critical, the toppings were not evenly spaced out. Meaning some slices had a ton of black olives where other slices had much fewer and also with the other toppings much the same. The slices are lacking on the sauce. What can I say, it was just a decent, good average pizza. Nothing amazing or exciting. I would visit again but pretty much Papa Johns will get my call sooner than this place will. O well, its worth a try but you will not be amazed with the taste.

This place has come a long way since its changed mgt in 2013. The crust of the pizza keeps my wife and I coming back, its the best weve found in San Antonio for the money & proximity to our house. (Dough and Fralos are great but theyre expensive and far!) Big Slice has great dough for the dough ($), making for a great pizza. Toppings are also good with generous portions as are the salads. My personal favorite is the spinach salad, which comes with hard boiled eggs and fresh mushrooms (= yum). The inside decor is simple and not showy if your taking friends, but they do serve beer and have a couple of flat screens if you need to watch the game some place. 5 stars for the pizza 3 stars for the inside decor - could be better but it is what it is!!

SUCH A LUXURIOUS PLACE IN SA. (unlike most vulgar places around) First of all, I was Born in Milan, Italy. Therefore, Ive been eating pizza all my life. Im currently living in Palm Beach county, But every once a year, Me and my wife go visit some folks in SA. First night we got to SA, we went to eat to grant street pizza and it was an amazing experience. I felt like i was back at home in Milan. The service is quite fast, food is delicious. and i had a nice talk with the owner...If im correct, his name is Javier-San. Anyways, All our family had gone there all this week and the food never gets old. I will recommend this place to any true pizza junkie like me. Take care, guys!!

Me and 2 of my friends ate here and we were not satisfied. The pizza was a little more done than I like, in my opinion should have been better quality considering they werent that busy. The dining room was a mess. Tables were dirty, the floors look like they havent been swept in days. Also had to share my food with some of the biggest flies I have ever seen. Not to mention the dead cockroach by the fountain drinks. I could only imagine how dirty everything else is in that restaurant. Not to mention the rude cashier. I did not feel welcome and will not be bringing anymore business here. Do not waste your time or money

This would rank as one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. The guys in the establishment were super nice, but I get better pizza from the frozen food section of the grocery store. Great disappointment after reading all of the reviews. Paid $20 for something we couldnt eat. It was super salty and ingredients were of poor quality. Its best to go to a large chain like Pizza Hut or Papa Johns (although you still dont get good quality pizza from chains) before going here. The chains will at least offer a better tasting pizza at a better price.
