The best thing about the place was the waiter. Lets start with atmosphere: Owners seem to be making an attempt to hit the "Deco" look, it needs work. Some painted graphics on the white walls would go a long way to boosting the feel. Cleanliness on a scale of 1 - 10 is a 3. Chairs are filthy, when looking at the back of the other chairs it is obvious that nobody wipes them down (and trust me it was so dead when we went that wiping down the chairs could be done). Next lets talk about menu: Good variety, not cheap. Here is what we ordered: 6 wings $6.99, came with choice of two sauces. Meat Calzone $9.97 (the base charge is $7.99 and they add for each additional topping) Deaux (dough) roll $6.99 for two small dough pillows with crawfish and cheese filing. Beer $3.50 for one. Quality of the food on a scale from 1 - 10 average about a 7. The wings were bad: dry crust (not even sure what that was) sauce on the side. I ate two, my husband and 1, the kids at home took one bite each and threw them away. The meat calzone was very good, but slightly under cooked, the cheese was not completely melted. The Deaux Balls were tasty, but way too expensive for what they give you. The dough was a nice soft texture and flavorful on its own, but the filling was very skimpy. We had two pieces of crawfish in each ball. Very disappointed for the price. Should be more like $4.99. Now on to the service: Jason our waiter/do everything guy was great!!!. Then again, we were the only people in the place at 2:00 in the afternoon. We had a great conversation with Jason about the restaurant and the owner came in. We asked about him and wanted to meet the owner, just to tell him how great Jason was, but the owner was "busy" and couldnt be bothered. We observed the owner chit chatting with someone for over 20 minutes. Went out, came back in. We waited to see what would happen. Jason came over and apologized and stated that the owner was very busy. A great attempt to cover up for the owners lack of customer service!!! Would we go back... maybe, if I get a craving for those little deaux balls, or a good calzone, but overall not worth my effort to go back any more than it was the owners effort to stop by our table and say "hi". Too bad.

Cons: 1) Take out pizzas are always cold (today i took the temperature after a 3 to 5 minute drive home and the center of the pizza was 92 degrees) 2) In addition to cold, the pizzas can be burned - Im not sure how they manage to both burn and undercook a pizza at the same time but they manage... 3) Todays pizza was not cut anywhere near evenly - some slices were super long/floppy and some slices were super short. Its a minor gripe but this is supposed to be a professional pizza joint. Im not seeking perfection here but all my life other pizza places manage to cut the pizza normal, why cant Deco? Pros: 1) I like the taste of the pizza sauce/toppings 2) Wait staff is friendly Overall - Meh. Major quality control problems with the food coming out of the kitchen of this pizza restaurant. I think today was their last chance to keep me as a customer and they let me down for the third and final time.

Ive worked pizza for a majority of my life and I can say this place has decently good pizza. Is this amazing (insert style here) pizza? Hello, yer in San Antonio, you should not be expecting amazing pizza. What you should be doing is ordering up their chicken wings. These are second to BW3s on 6th street, but..wait, they closed, so yeah these are the best damn wings out there! Think fried chicken in one hand while your other hand is free to hold frosty cold beverage...perfect! The staff is friendly and things have always arrived to the table at a respectable rate. Music is hit or miss and is very loud inside. If they add acoustical mitigation that statement will be moot. If you stop to look around the people inside/outside are happy... genuinely happy to be hanging out at a local restaurant enjoying friends, family, food, and drink. You cant ask for much more!

We have been coming to Deco Pizza they opened in 2011. Its a great little nieghborhood pizza joint with live music, a great patio, fun events and very friendly staff. The Pizzas are fantastic with medium crispy crust and lots of fixings. Our favorite is their wings, delicious! I know that they had some problems in the past with slow service, only the die hard deco pizza lovers enjoyed that time. But since the fall, the service quality has improved DRAMATICALLY. If you came before and was disappointed with the service, I say come back and try Deco again. If you never have been to Deco, you will love it. If you get a chance, dine on the Patio, its covered and cooled, perfect for the spring-fall-summer!

Inconsistent quality. Ive ran into a couple issues with their pizzas. First bad experience was our 16in was burnt on bottom and crust. When I called to tell them, the manager would only give me a personal pizza and it had to be that SAME day. Which did not help me. Today when I ordered my 16in pizza it was noticeably lighter in weight when I picked up the box. I didnt think much of it until I got home. Its 3 inches smaller than what it should be. So the feeling of being gypped for a $20 thirteen inch pizza isnt very pleasant. I might just have to find another place for pizza. =/

We went in for a late evening meal and the food was great. Service was awkward with a girl helping us saying she was just helping her mom. Mom came and gave great service but they started putting the chairs up on the tables right next to us. When I asked the girl if she knew that was basically telling us to leave, she looked confused and kept on putting up chairs. What a great way to get a terrible review and ruin a great experience all for one bone head move? My wife actually looked at me and said "They just lost stars on their review and it was going so well too, huh?".

Amazing pizza! Great staff! We were having a tough day. Both my daughter & I were nervous about her robotics competition we were preparing for the next morning. We stopped in by chance tired with our nerves shot. Our waitress was so caring & cool and made sure our drinks were continuously full. The place was clean and the atmosphere had major good vibes. There was live music on the patio too. Definitely will be visiting again.

I had a show to go to at thr near by theater as I explain and placed my order she assured me we had plenty of time. A little later another family sat behind us and 30 mins later we still dont have our food but the family behind are ready into their meal. Our show starts in about 30 mins. So we had to take it to go. Wish we could have tasted it right out the oven. They gave us the meal for the delay. Great customer service.

My wife and I went here because someone had gotten us a gift card. The waitress was very nice but a little inattentive toward the end of our meal. They had some live music that was cool but we were seated in a room that seemed a bit unfinished, I think it might double as a dancing area. The food was just ok, not a huge fan of their pizzas, I prefer Dough Pizzeria. The prices were good though.
