JUST HORRIBLE FOOD !!! Been there when my friend suggested that a new place got opened nearby. Much to our surprise, Seen a wide spread buffet which includes lot of items and we were all thrilled to see such a wide spread at an indian place. There comes an end to our happiness. The food was stale and not at all fresh. PLEASE DONT TRY TO CHEAT PEOPLE by throwing huge stuff on the buffet line which you couldnt produce freshly served. The meat is uncooked and everything they put on buffet was not freshly served. There were no NAAN, Heard they couldnt give it because they have problem making it. WHAT AN EXCUSE !!! Change the way you provide food. Have Lesser options but try to give quality food. Being a new restaurant, Hope you will come back well.

I just had dinner from this place.. they mentioned that buffet is there.. so we checked and display was good and there were quite number of items. but none of food was good and fresh. all non veg section was very bad that you cant have food in the feeling that you are paying 14$ for the buffet including tax.. I mentioned the issue with the food to the waiter. he asked me are you telugu. I said we are from South India. then he said thanks for coming.. butter chicken has heavy butter taste that you cant have it.. lamb has the raw lamb taste.. I am a foodie I never had a waste buffet or in fact waste food like this in Austin.. And they have written dont waste food on the wall.. but it looks like ppl are wasting it because they cant have it

I have been to this place on three days after its inaugural day and really liked the ambiance and vast buffet they served and felt like going back again. This time i went gain with couple of my friends on 1/4/17.we, had an horrible experience ,most of the food items served on the buffet are reheated and specially with mutton pulov with no meat in it. and when we asked about naan ,the lady on the counter replied that there taandoor is not working. and tried some chapati which is very horrible, it looks like microwavable one.i not at all recommend this place. Its always better to serve less food items with fresh food than such a large buffet with preheated food..

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! A huge buffet full of all the best Indian (and Americanized Indian) food youll find in Austin. The Saag Paneer is full paneer, unlike some places where youll find 1 or 2 chunks of it in the whole batch. Their chili chicken, chicken 65, and masala chicken is so full of flavor and always fresh! Ive been a couple times now and its clean, service is quick and friendly, and again, the food is always fresh whether its 11AM or 2PM. I can only hope it is successful so it stays around!

In town on business, first visit. There was a good variety of dishes on the buffet, but some were a little sweet that arent normally sweet at all in my experience. Some of them were rather thin as well, like the Sag Paneer and Raita. The tandoori chicken had a good flavor but the coating wasnt baked on very well and was moist instead of dry. It was also VERY expensive in my experience at over $18 for one person with an 8 ounce salted lassi drink, plus $2 I left for a tip. I left quite a bit on my plate when I went home.

Abundant choices and well prepared items for lunch buffet. This is a relatively new entry into the Indian restaurant scene and offers a wide selection for the lunch buffet. With so may choices, it is definitely a challenge to try everything but the few items I did have were delicious and reminded me of food from back home. This will definitely be on the top of my list of Indian eat outs. Look forward to going back soon.

This was an amazing restaurant!! There was so much variety of food that Ive never seen in any other buffet. As a vegetarian, i was pleasantly surprised by the amount of variety they had for vegetarians too. The ambiance is great and is perfect for all occasions. The food was very delicious! It is certainly worth the price. Definitely my go to restaurant whenever i come back to Austin.

I had lunch buffet and I was disappointed. They advertise north and south both but really they are more of south. I only liked some appetisers and some rice rest was out of taste. Look like south indian cook tried really hard to cook north indian food but failed. There are quite better restaurants for south in Austin so I would skip this forever.

Sweekar has been amazing so far for me and my co workers! Ordering pick up is a very fast process and the portion sizes are reasonable. Butter chicken is a must try for anyone wanting to experience them for the first time! I have not tried the buffet yet but hopefully in time that will not disappoint either.

I ended up at this restaurant twice in a week (did not intend to) for a lunch buffet and then a dinner buffet. The ambiance is pleasant but their food is 2/5. They have a good variety in their buffets compared to other Indian restaurants but some of the items were just cold and too creamy.

We love this place. The variety on the buffet is always impressive, and the overall quality has consistently been excellent. The staff are very nice and the service is snappy. The food could be a little spicier since its a bit mild for Indian, but every dish I have tried tasted good.

I have had terrible experiences at buffets in general but this place swayed my feelings. Sooo many options in the buffet, friendly employees and great tasting Indian food. Learned what dishes I enjoy and the ones I do not fancy so much, not to mention at a great price.

This place is awesome ! They have over 40 items in their all day buffet !!! Took my family here and we all loved it. Its largest Indian buffet I have ever been to!!! Best Indian food in all of the Austin area. Food was very fresh and well prepared!

Everything is spicy here. I have a low tolerance for spicy food and was only able to eat a couple of dishes, which still had mild heat, and dessert. Not worth the buffet or the price for my limited options. If you dont like spicy food, avoid.

This place is yukkkk.... Please serve fresh :) I visited this place twice. I really liked it first time. I took my friends this time and felt insulted. @management: number of verities and quantity doesnt count much. Please serve fresh.

Buffet is good. Good variety of both Veg and Non-veg options. Take out Hyderabad Dum Biryani is bad. It is not even Pulav rice. Not a place for Biryani lovers. But, it is a must try place for Indian food buffet.

We didnt get the buffet and were ok with the food. Ordered Briyani and hot korma. Good for here in RR and not having to go to Austin proper. Will come back, but will drive further for guests that like Indian.

Decent Indian buffet food. Good number of dishes to choose from! Mango ice cream was awesome! Their dishes and bowls certainly need better cleaning...it was difficult find a clean plate to self serve...
