I stopped in for the lunch buffet last week so that I could scout the place before bringing in any coworkers. I work with a bunch of people who have (gasp) never experienced the joy of eating Indian food. I used to love to go out for Indian food in Louisville KY. We had some solid places like Kashmir, Shalimar, and my favorite, the Bombay Grill. So I know decent Indian food, and I wanted to share it with my co-workers. But I needed to make sure Namaste was good enough to share. It is! Im happy to report the food is delicious and nicely seasoned, although the lunch buffet is kept quite mild as far as heat-spice (most Americans cant handle the heavy heat.) I think if you order dinner at Namaste you can request a level of heat, and bump it up to a nice burn. But if you are afraid of heat, there is no need to fear the lunch buffet. It has all the savory and creamy and fragrant spice notes without the hot notes. I recommend the saffron rice, and then put a small spoon of each offering in a ring around the edge of the plate. Try a bite or two of everything, then go back and get a big helping of your favorites. If you are lactose intolerant bring a Lactaid because about half the dishes have cream in them. I did not try the desserts because I am a savory guy, not a sweet guy. If you try them let us know what you thought. Last but not least on the food front, the naan bread (looks like a pita bread but is far, far better) is the best naan I have ever had. It has a delicate buttery vibe instead of the oily naan I have had at other places. My naan was perfectly cooked with hints of crispiness at the edges and a soft, steaming center. You want a touch of char in spots to add flavor, and mine had just the right amount. As far as the building, the place is in a non-descript strip mall, but the inside is nicely decorated and the bathrooms are clean and modern. I dont like nasty bathrooms where I eat, so I always like to mention that in case anyone else uses the "bathroom test" when they go out to eat. Obviously the food is the most important thing, but I always suspect that if a place doesnt have the pride to keep a clean bathroom, they probably dont keep a clean kitchen. Namaste was clean. I would rate them a 4+ out of 5. In order to bump up to a 5, I need to come back for dinner and put some HEAT in mine to see how it works out. :-)

This was my first experience with Indian food, and I am rather picky in general. I enjoyed everything I tried. I had lunch and I enjoyed the buffet! The food was delicious and well stocked and attended. All the hot food was hot and good, and it wasnt messy and didnt look like it had been there for a long time. Anytime something got low, it was filled up fresh. The staff was friendly and very attentive! My water glass was always filled, and the staff didnt mind picking up spills that happened by accident. The tables have beautiful table cloths and it is small, but romantic or elegant in a simple way. I would definitely recommend this place and eat there again! I am told from friends that they save their spicier meals for dinner or meal orders, while they keep the buffet more mild so it can appeal to more people.

Excellent restaurant! Not just an excellent Indian/Nepalese restaurant, but and excellent restaurant of any type. SO much better by far than either of the Yak & Yeti Restaurants, as well as the majority of the Indian restaurants in the Denver area.. Namaste uses fresher ingredients, as well as better quality ingredients. One of the main differences between Namaste and most Indian restaurants is that Namaste uses far, far less ghee/butter/grease. If you want to compare Indian/Nepalese restaurants, buy saag/saag paneer (the spinach dish) To Go. Fridge some of the saag until its cold. It is disgusting to see the orange solid fat surrounding the spinach. You dont get this with Namaste.

Family get together my Mom wanted to eat here for her birthday. Horrible everyone got the food they ordered at different times 20-15 min apart. For those who had the Buffet like me it was ok but some of the dishes were empty the entire time. The last to eat were the three Grandchildren who only order Chicken. All they got ,after 45 min, were a few cut up pieces of red chicken breast on a small plate. We went home and ordered Pizza Hut for those who didnt like the food but Mom/Grandma/Great-grandma loved that everyone came for her birthday.. just we picked the wrong place!!!!!

There food is tasty for sure, but the buffet is never keep stocked. Today only 2 out 10 actually had food in the pans at one time. In the 40 minutes we were there they never bothered to replenish the Tadora chicken THE BASIC Indian food!!! Good place if you have all day to sit and wait for them to cooked each dish one at time. Back to good old stand by the Yak and Yeti only 4 minutes away. Much bigger buffet and the pans are also full and fresh. Sad Ive given it three tries but not a 4th. Hopefully an owner or somebody shares this review with them.

Buffet is fantastic, Dinner is equally as amazing. Some of the best Indian food Ive ever had, period. The spiciness levels are perfect, they Saag is probably my favorite, so creamy and delicious. The service is out standing and the dining area is warm with candles on the tables and high ceilings, perfect for a date night or casual dinner with friends. Ive been here several times and I always bring friends and visitors because its just that good. If you want Indian food tonight, Namaste should be at the top of your list.

I love Namastes way of making typical Indian food seem just a little better than other lunch buffets. The interior is much more interesting than youd expect, being located in a small strip mall. Its clean and quiet. The ambiance is refined, and it has a nice energy, even with Bollywood movies or videos playing in the background. Make sure to try the Shiraz from India!!

Came here for a late lunch in the middle of the week. We are huge Tibetian/Nepalese fans and weve eaten at similar resturants in the entire Denver Metro and Front Range area. The buffet selection was great and the Saag had to be the best Ive had anywhere. The Korma and Masaala were very flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. We will definitely be back for more.

The food here is absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I make the drive up here because it is completely worth it. The staff is always great and last time they even made me a custom drink order that they offered as part of their holiday menu. Its an intense chai latte cocktail. So good! Namaste may be off the beaten path for some, but it is worth it.
