I had been to this Waffle House 7 times before and the place was decent for a small diner. But this past time I had come to this location, my experience was beyond words... not only was the service bad and we felt discriminated but the establishments employees had lacked integrity. Our servers name was Ashley. Our party was 5 people, all UTD students. When we sat down she looked at us and said "Its gonna be a while, there is an iHop across the road..." we told her we dont mind waiting. And a moment later asked her how long the wait would be, she replied "Dont know. iHop is across the street." My friends were upset with how rude she was being and we all decided to leave. My friend mentioned this was his SECOND time being asked to leave from Waffle House. I honestly didnt believe it since I had never had that type of experience there. Moments later (on our way to iHop) I realized I had forgotten my phone and came right back (8 min later). There was a new party that Ashley was serving at our table (she had given drinks and everything).. I didnt say anything about it and said I was looking for my white iphone 6 and that I left and that I need it since my ID was with it. Ashley looked at me and said "Didnt see it. Doesnt look like you are getting it back. Its gone." I thought it was a weird comment to make since she really didnt even look? but asked her to let me know if anyone returned it. The family sitting in the booth next to us before we left said that she had not seen anyone else at the booth after I left besides that current table and our server. Later on, I realized that someone had turned back on my phone right outside of Waffle House, around the time in which a 5-6hr shift would have ended... I wouldnt be surprised to see our server using my phone now. I honestly give servers the benefit of the doubt if they arent doing their best, and have always given them the utmost respect since I have been a server before as well. But I can not believe the service given and the restaurants lack of character. I felt wrongfully judged and basically asked to leave. I do not recommend coming to this location and if you do consider hiding all your belongings and maybe even taking up their Highly Recommended suggestion of just going to the iHop down the road. At least you know that they would have more integrity as a business to give your stuff back.

Sooo, where to begin!!! This was my second time to run in and grab an order togo. It was just bc it was across the street from my work and i THOUGHT it would be convenient. 1st time i went in i wasnt even spoken to and when i finally ask where i needed to place an order the lady was rude. The store was very dirty and no one in the store was polite or even could smile at anyone. The 2nd time i ran in to grab something it was worse..... dirty as hell. i got my order in this time since i knew this time to just butt in and ask someone. I sat down to wait on my food TOGO and while sitting there for about 25 mins i saw 2 ppl leave without getting any service. One lady sat down and NO ONE even spoke to her, much less looked at her. so she left cussing. The other guy came in and just stood there for a couple mins and then tryed to sit at the counter top bar area. One girl said rudely... can you not sat down till i clean that off................... the guy was like, SURE then stepped back and gave me this look like OKKKayy! Then after she didnt come clean it off for about 5 mins he decided to leave He ask me if i had order and i told his yes.. He just left after that. The Lady the SEEMED to be in charge at the time was running around with an attitude towards the other employees there. Throwing her hand up and just showing everyone in the store that she obv didnt have things handled, very poor management. she was extremely rude to the staff and the staff was very unpleasant to anyone that was there to get service. The place was very dirty and and after reading some of the other comments from other ppl .... i will be telling all my employees here to not go to that place, even if it is right next door! Someone need to show those ppl some customer support skills!!!

1st off Ive been to this location before and had much better service. I had just landed from a long day of traveling. I was hungry so at 5am I decided to call and place an order for pickup, remind you Im one my way there due to my hotel being 2 minutes away. The phone rings 6 times and hangs up. I call back 5 more times I get the same results. I assumed the location was busy and no one was able to answer the phone. Upon my arrival there are approximately 3 cars in the parking lot, 6 WH workers standing around the grill laughing as though they had not a care in the world. At this point I had a theory so to test this theory I called 2 more times everyone that was standing around continued to do so. I finally walked into the establishment, there was no greeting by anyone. I seated myself and sat for the next 15 minutes before someone acknowledged me. The entire staff seem to be preoccupied with things other than performing their jobs. The waitress took my order; Patty Melt, Scrabbled Eggs w/ Cheese, and Grits. The food wasnt too bad until I tasted the Grits which were old and had lumps of uncooked Grits inside the lumps themselves. At this point was done. I was so disappointed and dissatisfied I finished the portion of my meal that was good and left the rest. Ive reached out to the GM of this location to share my concerns. I think its safe to say I will not be visiting this location again.

I took my grandson to breakfast this morning after hearing a few single eaters complaining they hadnt been seated because tables stations werent cleared and after 15 minutes and literally 10 stations open I asked to speak to the manager he said he asked his staff to stop taking orders because they had to many dirty dishes! Forgive me but why are you still accepting through your door if your not going to serve them??? There were plenty of people standing around and if he was a true manager he should have been washing dishes along with the staff standing around. He said oh u can seat you now. I said so I wasnt worthy enough to be seated prior to my complaint but now Im complaining so Ill seat you now...a seriously this is why you lose customers I was like that would be great for me but what about the 9 people that were before me? He chuckled and I just left.....terrible, terrible customer service...

I walked in, seated at a booth to myself, ordered a cup of coffee, and my All Amercan breakfast w/o toast, add hash browns scattered and smothered, grits, bacon crispy, eggs soft scrambled and my infamous waffle with hot syrup. My eggs and grits were cold, my waffle looked as if it was on a diet thin and see through. The up side looked ok until I picked it up. The other side looked as if they struggled to get it out of the waffle iron. My hot syrup showed up before my waffle!!! Really?! So, my breakfast consisted of hash browns, bacon and coffee. Oh, did I mention that this was my first time visiting this location? My waitress was awesome! She apologised for the fiacso and told me I didnt have to pay. I left her a tip anyway for her services. I woke up to a power outage, other than that I would have cooked. This spot can be VERY busy, but the people were extremely welcoming and accommodating.
