Wow. Is it possible to rate this place lower than one star? I went here because someone told me the food was good and cheap: I wasnt expecting it to be so filthy tho. The waitstaff was the worst Ive ever seen. anywhere. EVER. When I walked in they were eating abunch of food at one of the tables, looked at me and went back to eating. As far as I can tell they were the only ones working there. I stood up at the front for maybe 5 minutes until one of them got up and asked me what I wanted. She literally Asked "what do you want?", and after surveying the place I decided I would just order some takeout. So she told me to sit down and went back to eating without giving me a menu or anything......At this point I should have just left, but against my better judgement I ordered the moo goo gai pan. It took 30 minutes to come out, the silverware was dirty, and to top it all off there was BLACK HAIR IN MY RICE!!! I could go into further detail, but I would be here all day. The food was sooooo bad it made a TV dinner look like it was prepared by a world class chef. Really, just terrible. I hope this place burns to the ground.

This is a family run restaurant that a friend introduced me to about 5 years ago. Fawn runs the front of house by herself and she knows exactly what every regular customer orders. By regular I mean go one time and she will not forget your face or tour order. Its is so in expensive. You cannot eat off of the McDonalds dollar menu this cheap. We go at least 2 times a week for lunch and then on Sundays after church. I Fed my family of 9 for $45.00. It is no the best Chinese you Will ever have. But there are some really great things on the menu such as their hot and sour soup, triple crown and pork fried rice. Those are my favorites. And yes there rice is Orange. Still taste good. So She gets really busy so regular customers often help bus tables and pour tea. This place has been a New Braunfels favorite by many local and loyal customers. My only regret is that I didnt try it 30 years ago.

the place was nasty.dirty dishes left on table not because they where busy because the two helps where sitting down just bs ing. went to lady restroom and it was nasty as well mirror looked like it never got cleaned and then when we got our food it was aweful! My beef was hard and the sauce tasted burnt. I did try to eat it anyways but after 4 bits i couldnt do it anymore.You know its bad when a four year old turns down fries and chicken too. We ended up leaving and didnt even get offered a cookie.The was would have been great but since we never ate it was a waste of time...The floor was nasty as well and the boy there didnt speak english and the girl who took our order was hard to hear because i swear she whispered. I seen the other reviews on here and either they are the owners friends or the place has gone down heal...Personal I would never go back again!

I worked there in 1984 when I was 19 , the food was so good then.The last few years its gone to nothing,back in the 1980s and 1990s the food was addicting, the owners then put so much into the quality of the food. I went there the other night and it was notrocious, dont know what that yellow goo is on the rice probably some type of filler,dont want to know!!! I worked there 3 years I know , people then were addicted to the food it was so good.The current owners dont know or care obout the food now, really sad.Peking is somewhat of an icon on that corner, make the food great again!!! I never complain , but the quality of the food is so poor, if you like it , you dont know Chinese food, i was taught by the masters of Chinese culinary cuisine. BRING THE GREATNESS BACK TO THAT CORNER.

This place was by far the worst chinese food I have ever had. The food was gross, the place was filthy, and the staff didnt give a damn about doing their job. All I could taste in the food was MSG. All of the veggies looked like they had already been through someones bowels. The wanton soup looked like it had been cooking since the 50s and tasted like it too. Since then, whenever I drive past the restaurant I feel bad for the health of the poor fools eating in the "Puke-ing Restaurant."

This review is mainly based off of the service. They take forever to take your order and bring your food out. Dont ever go during your lunch break! I have tried ordering my food to go also and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes but when I got there and paid, it took another 15 minutes. And when they did give it to me, they left something out of my order and all the juice had spilt in the bag. Very frustrating. This is their biggest downfall in my opinion.

The food is great for a mom and pop restaurant! The rice is orange though. But you have to have a lot of patience when coming here. There is one woman that runs the register, buses the tables, and places the orders. She is very sweet and knows every item on the menu and tried to be as attentive as she can. I definitely recommend this place but like I said you have to have patience.

great food at an awesome price , you get the whole meal for only 4 dollars. Lunch time can get very crowded and its only the owner whos working that shift but the food manages to come out at a decent waiting time . Great food Im a regular :)

Not impressed by the food. The fried rice was orange and tasted weird. The first bite was okay but the more bites you ate the more disgusting it got. Couldnt even finish half my plate -_- wont be going back

The place is always dirty and this time I will never go back! Have eaten there for the past 20 years and they have never cleaned the carpet! Just nasty. .. too bad because their food is not that bad!

Terrible food that tastes like a TV dinner. The egg roll isnt quite done. Also, the wonton Im my wonton soup was just role noodle not accompanied by the small bit of meat we are accustomed to.

Dirty as can be! But the food was actually pretty good!! I liked it. It was a bargain too, great lunch special. Please clean this place up a bit though.
