Wasnt impressed. Will Keep Looking for Decent Chinese In The 620/2222 Area Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for delivery. There was a $7.00 delivery charge that I wasnt told about when I placed my order, and I lived 1 block out of the boundary on their map. I called the restaurant to ask if they delivered to my address, they said sure theyll deliver to my address. They failed to mention a $7.00 delivery charge would be added to my bill. I dont mind a surcharge if youre going out of your way, but 1 block farther doesnt warrant $7.00 in my mind. Gas isnt cheap, I get it, but really? Im less than 5 miles away from the restaurant. Sure, charge me a $3 or $4 delivery fee, thats reasonable. The food was really just so-so. The seafood fried rice lacked any real seasoning or flavor, and the combination lo-mein was really mediocre. For the kind of wait we had for our food, the surcharge (not including tip) for delivery, and the food not being that great, well keep looking. Not sure why, but this area is seriously lacking a decent Chinese place. Paos in Lakeway is fantastic, but they dont deliver this far up. Such a shame.

Stopped in before leaving to go home. Restaurant was empty, which is normally not a good thing but it was an off hour so no biggie. Order shrimp spring rolls which were OK. The sauce left a lot to be desired along with a major lacking for a hot sauce option. I had ordered Chicken Katsu Curry, and had it read back to me, and without a long wait my food arrived --- as Cashew Chicken. I informed the waiter that the order was wrong and he looked generally shocked and stated I had ordered Cashew Chicken. We clarified the order and he offered to remake it, at this point I was really just wanting a quick meal and get back on the road. I declined hoping maybe this would be a welcome mistake. Negative. The dish was lukewarm-ish and on the bland side. Again no option for a hot sauce or mustard to add to change up the flavor a bit. For the spring rolls, messed up Chicken order and a tea was $17.21. Personally there are other places that give the correct order, hotter, more flavorful and cheaper than what was here.

Only had take out from here but its always been good. They have weird hours which is surprising due to the lack of competition in the area. Totally changed my mind about this place. If the current owners think the level of customer service I received from them today is acceptable then I can say with confidence that their business will fail, just like the one that used to occupy their current premises. I am literally shaking with anger right now. I am dedicating the rest of my night finding everything out about them and their investors so I can best direct my future follow-up calls to. I was physically threatened and chased out of the building. Ten minutes later I called them back hoping for a more constructive conversation: their food IS DELICIOUS. But sorry but not sorry guys, phone calls are going to be made. Feel free to reach out to me anytime, but you can be rest assured that I will not patronize your business nor will I ever recommend you to anyone else in this area.

I have always liked the food enough there, but not this time. I ordered the coconut curry chicken with lomein instead of rice. The lomein was plain! It was just boiled noodles, thats it. Very misleading. The curry wasnt much better. Chicken and veggies were fresh. But, the curry was barely that. No flavor and no heat whatsoever. The egg drop soup and crab rangoons were good. But, with other options in the area, I think was my last time ordering from this place.

The crab puff were great! But my other food not so much. I ordered spicy chicken wings, lets just say no thanks. Not only was it not spicy but it tasted old and like my chicken and jalapeños went for a warm dip in just oil and it was overly salty. Nothing seemed fresh in my chicken or veggies wanted to have high hopes. I wouldnt really recommend anything other than the crab puffs :(

This is by far the worst Chinese takeout I have ever tasted. The rice tasted like it was cooked yesterday and put on hold, the pancakes were made last week and tasted like leather and the calimari was just plain cold and doughy. The restaurant was totally empty when I went to pick up our order so that was a red flag.

I think the food here is terrible. The sauces are all very runny and they do not stick to the dish. I dont understand HOW this place is making it. It is always empty; guess food to go sustains it. This is just another neighborhood Chinese restaurant with absolutely NO surprises.

The crab puffs were really good seriously really good . Unfortunately the rest of our order was terrible. The meat was terribly dry and the fried rice was extremely bland. The meals tasted like they were from a frozen bag. Summary: dont get the food if you want good food

I have eaten here several times. The food is very good. The people are nice. If you are in a hurry this is not your place. They are very slow. But if you want very close sit down chinese food in Steiner its a good choice
