My wife and I were super excited to get a Thai restaurant in New Braunfels, as we normally had to visit Thai Spice in the Forum (which by the way is the best Thai in the San Antonio area). I work in the medical center where Thai restaurants are a dime a dozen, and feel like besides being a foodie, I have a good basis of comparison. There is a Sarikas near my office that is fantastic (supposedly same owners), and it makes the New Braunfels location look like McDonalds. The food @ the New Braunfels location is mediocre and despite ordering Pan Nang "Thai Hot" I received a very watered down curry that had little flavor. Good Pan Nang has visible slices of kaffir lime leaves and peppers. This looked like store bought curry paste and watered down coconut milk. I had no issues with the service as dining in New Braunfels, you have to expect stupid teenagers who have zero work ethic and no knowledge of what they are serving. The only Asian cuisine worth trying in NB is A-Tan...not the greatest sushi, but not buffet sushi either. I havent tried Mama Fus yet but have heard positive reviews.

The food was good and the boba drinks were amazing but the people who worked there really made me feel uncomfortable. The woman was rude and short with us the whole time. I asked for water and she looked like she was going to snap. When she brought me my pho I asked for the cilantro and limes that came with it. She goes "yeah yeah OK" and walks off in the middle of me talking to her. Then I guess her son comes in with what looked like a grand parent and she chewed him out for buying a toy in front of every one. I was really surprised to see this. I will not come back here to eat inside. Maybe order take out but thats about it.

We just moved here from Seattle, a large city with PLENTY of styles of Asian food and tons to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised with Sarikas Thai food- great, delicious, and amazing service. HUGE portions for adequate prices. I am shocked at the elitist snooty attitudes coming from people who reviewed previously. Sarikas is a good place to get some delicious Thai food. Well be going back again and again and again and again. :D

Just cant understand why the negative reviews. Must be from competition. My husband and I have frequented Sarika since its opening. The staff is friendly and can most certainly speak english. The ladies are beautifully turned out and are very attentive. The food is fresh with beautiful presentation. Rosanne (the previous critic) must clearly sit on her taste. Stick to Panda express lady, probably more to your liking.

The Pad Thai is on par with a frozen dinner. It was very dry with very little meat and almost no taste. The Gang "Curry" was awesome and had some heat to it. No beef Sa Te but the chicken was tasty. The golden shrimp appetizer was good but $6.95 for four shrimp is a bit pricey. It seems like they are still going through growing pains. Bad Pad Thai at a Thai restaurant is unforgivable. I will try again in three months.

This is my go-to restaurant in New Braunfels. The owners are super friendly and every time I come in (sometimes twice a week!) I sit down at my table, they ask if I want the usual and bring out tofu summer rolls and Massaman curry with vegetables. I could easily eat the tofu summer rolls all day every day, but apparently, thats frowned upon. If youre looking for Thai food in New Braunfels, go to Thai Racha.

My girlfriend worked there six days until the first paycheck. Do not tip here because the wait staff does not get the tips. They are paid a flat rate of $70 a day if at all. This is even if the tips reach over $70 each which is consistanty well over that. The wait staff is essentially paying the restaurant to work.

Great luncheon menu...soup was delicious, sauces for the spring roll was tasty and the minced thai basil chicken (not remembering its real name) and chicken in lemon sauce are our favorites. Misha is an attentive waitress. She remembered us after our first visit. So glad Thai Racha is minutes from home!

Food is always delicious, eating in or take out which is always quick (15min). This is a local family owned business which is refreshing considering all the other similar restaurants are corporate chains. Everything we have tried is wonderful! We usually stick to our favorites pad nam mon huy and pad thai!

I dont usually write reviews but this place should get one for sure! It is SOOOO good! Their fried rice is to die for!! The service isnt stellar but Ive certainly had worse, they just dont have a ton of staff, its a small place. But the food alone is worth the 5 stars! TRY IT!! Go now! :)

first time eating here. I am not impressed by asian food in New Braunfels. But we really enjoyed the meal. Very flavorful and spicy- per request. My pregnant wife loved the Pad Thai. It was her first time trying Thai. Overall, well worth it. Highly recommend it.

Id give no stars... Totally rubbish and not sure why it has high rating. We went in on Saturday at 8pm and the place was dead. Had massaman curry, which I love and have it is every Thai place, and it was crap. Kids had sweet and sour chicken and it was dry!

Awesome food! Since it was the first day, service was not good at all. Owner was very apologetic. One freaky cheerleader mom complained out loud how awful it was. Who actually visits a restaurant on the first day and expects quick service?

We stopped in just before closing. The atmosphere was wonderful, hostess in traditional clothing and very sweet. A family owned business that caters to its customers. Food was excellent, service excellent overall great experience. Thank you.

Walked in to a baby walking around bare foot in the kitchen. Thought that was a little weird. Shortly after eating our bland off tasting food i found myself sick. Spent the next hour on the toilet. Probably wont ever try this place again.

Horrible. The server had the attitude like he didnt want to be bothered. Then our egg rolls came out cold and they told us it a because they were cooked 10 mins ago so thats why. Didnt even offer to make new ones.

Terrible experience. My Thai pad plate smelled like dog food, I took maybe 3 bites which is definitely not normal for me. The spring roles were great, but the main entrees killed my appetite. Wont be back.

Great little place to get Thai food. Its simple, the food is good and the price is reasonable. There arent a lot of options besides Mexican food and hamburgers in NB so this place is a nice change of pace.

Best Thai food ive had in South Texas. Serves is super friendly and really quick. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The classic Chicken Pad Thai always my go to.
