Dont let the simple name fool you. They dont do donuts, cookies or muffins, but specialize in big flaky croissants, macaroons and other pastries with a French flair. They also have espresso, hot and iced teas and sodas, salads and daily specials. Im obsessed with the Kougin Amman (pronounced "queen oman") which is like an origami croissant layered with sugar and baked in a caramel-lined tin. It comes out crunchy with the sugar and flaky-soft inside. Also recommended is the chocolate croissant or ham and swiss croissant for a hardier breakfast. Its a family owned store, everythings made fresh daily in house. Get in early for best selection. Get a coffee and croissant, listen to some smooth jazz and read the morning paper or chat with friends.

This place is so chill. The atmosphere is refreshing and the service was even better. They made sure my order was "perfect" and nothing less. And it was. The monkeybread was still being made so I will have to try it next time. Youre missing out if you havent been here

Really nice staff and service. They make everything from scratch! Good no frills coffee / lattes. The Amaan Koogin pastry is literally the best pastry Ive tried. Pairs well with coffee. Would make the trek from anywhere in DFW to try some of the items here.

Great paninis and wonderful pastries and coffee. The clam chowder is excellent. Very friendly staff. Three visits in the last 2 weeks. This will be a regular place for us.
