As a server I understand what goes on behind the scenes. I get being busy or weeded. I get if youre having a bad day. But if you make your money off tips, how can you make any money when you just flat out ignore your tables? We were sat in a section where 4 different servers were working in. All were present. None of them came to greet us. None of them even looked over here. We sat for about 5 minutes(I counted) after we had already sat and waited for someone to come say hi. Finally, a waiter walked over (no one introduced themselves so I cant tell you a single name) and said our server was tied up and would be over in a moment. We asked for coffee and he said hed go get it. We waited and waited. Saw him again and he was doing other things. Then another server finally brought our coffee, asked us if we were ready to order, and when we said yes he goes "Oh, Ill go get your server." Why ask if youre not gonna take the order? This girl walks up to us and asks what she can get for us, takes the order, and walks away. We think she is our server? We dont know. No hello. No greet. No.. anything. And then our food comes out quickly after. We got our food quicker than we got service or our drinks. By the way, my food was okay.. not that she came by to check or anything. Then she just asked about checks.. Maybe I needed something else? Not that she would know. She did the same thing with two other tables. I do not write reviews. Im not high maintenance. But as a server you represent the business. You make the business their money. And I wont be back solely based on service from not just who we think was our waitress was, but the rest of the servers too. Not sure where our waitress disappears to. Some kind of black hole or something. Oh and I found out the servers name was Bailey. Can someone ask her to smile or something?

A group of 7 brought our coworker here upon a suggestion to treat her to lunch for HER BIRTHDAY. What a surprise this was..... I truly hope someone READS THIS.....where should I begin???? Our party was seated in a small secluded room in the back of the establishment containing several big, black TABANOMORPHA TABANIDAE (look it up) In which one of my coworkers almost swallowed one....smh!!! After waiting 30 MINUTES W/O ANY SERVICE finally, one of our party members embarked on a journey to seek out a waiter/ waitress, who upon assisting us with our order gave an EXCUSE and not an APOLOGY for the wait. Below summarizes the ADDITIONAL wait time: DRINKS- 15 MIN FOOD- 45 MIN Now the waitress wrote each of our orders down on her note pad with specifics, then REPEATED THE ORDERS back to us. Please explain how are TWO orders are delivered incorrect? • ONE: Turkey club arrived as a turkey burger. • TWO: Turkey burger arrived on gluten free bread that was NOT requested. You can assume an hour into this lunch we were thoroughly disappointed as 3 DIFFERENT parties had been seat and served at the table right outside of the room we were sitting in. Another party member asked to speak with management and we NEVER saw the waitress again. Please keep in mind we were still waiting for the missing elements to TWO other orders....hey lady, you forgot our onions and mayo!!! Once the manager arrived, we voiced our grievances; he compensated us for the gratuity WITHOUT AN APOLOGY OF ANY SORT???!!! None the less, we felt screwed with no lube from this establishment. Word of mouth goes a long way.....lets just say we have shared this experience with all 250 + of our coworkers.

I have been to Bread Winners several times for lunch and usually the service and food are great, but not this time. I had a guest in town that I wanted to impress, so I thought out of all the restaurants in Dallas Ill take her to Bread Winners. Was I ever embarrassed and humilitated. First, we had to wait 40 minutes to get a table which we chose to do so cant complain about that. When my name finally got called, we proceeded to follow the host that was seating us. All of a sudden he said "Wait" and we stopped in our tracks and he appeared to see friends coming in the door and ran to them and took them ahead of us to seat them. We were just standing there waiting and from a distance he started waving at us to come to him. HOW RUDE! It seemed like we sat at our table forever to get service and then when we finally received our order, it was wrong. We waited 25 minutes to get that order and it was wrong. When we finally flagged someone down to let them know, this person appeared to be annoyed with us for complaining that the order was wrong. When I finally got the right order (after 15 more minutes) it was horrible. The veggies and cheese inside the omelette were hard and not melted. No discount was offered to us for the incorrect order or bad food. Then the people at the table next to us had the same experience. They received the wrong order and their food was not good. Needless, to say, I will never return to Bread Winners again. There are too many excellent restaurants in Dallas to waste time and money on poor service and food.

Alright people. I came to google to search for top brunch places in dallas. I came across this and thought why not. I read a couple reviews some sketchy. Some great. One had a great review and said their server Gar was amazing. Well ANYWAYS long story short - the line outside was intimidating to say the least. I almost settled for a restaurant down the street to avoid the wait but my friend with me said no lets do it- we walked up welcomed by two sweet hostess. They said it would be a 10-15 minute wait. We said ok great and stood about 1 minute when they called my name. So excited they brought us to the cutest table for two and we sat down and I instantly was so happy. Our server walked up so cheerful and I knew he had to be Gar. And sure enough it was. I fan girld that I had just read he was awesome and we hit it off. He always stopped by our table using our names which was the most perfect touch. Their blood orange frozen mimosa is AMAZING. We both got their Banana nut bread French toast which was to die for!! SO YUMMY (two can seriously share it) its made with their homemade whipped cream and I dont even like whipped cream and it look like perfect vanilla ice cream. Anyways sorry for my long post but if you are in dallas please make time for this. what an amazing atmosphere. I dont think Ill be able to be in dallas and not stop and request Gar. Hands down best service Ive ever had! I want to keep raving on how amazing Gar is but I want people to actually read this review so just go find out for yourself! I will be back!!!

First off the food is amazing and a great deal if you can go during the happy hours. The pork sliders are the bomb as are the flat breads. However. Our waiter left us very disappointed. At first he was slightly awkward and clumsy as he took our order, and we just passed it off as it must be his first day. No biggie. He brought me my drink Brunch Punch, and proceeded to pour the champagne too quickly before I could stop him. It flooded the glass and spilled all over the table. I told him it happens, and he just stared at me as I started to clean it up. He came back with a new glass and said it was on the house, I thanked him and we proceeded to our meal. After we finished we waited a long time for him to come back before flagging him down. He never refilled the water glasses, and brought the check. My on the house drink was still on the ticket, so I asked him about it. He said just the new bottle of champagne was left out. Well ok. I feel awful, but his waiter skills really need some improvement. You dont say "this drink is on the house" if its not.
