Wary of a potential crowd, I stopped in just after 7:00am on a Saturday morning and there was only one other person picking up food. You can order online for pick up, but having never been in before I wanted to check everything out. I ordered a chicken fried steak biscuit with a fried egg, gravy on the side and a few donuts to try. At first my cashier had no idea what I was talking about and kept trying to charge me for the chicken biscuit. When I kept repeating myself she thought perhaps they were out of the chicken fried steak...on a Saturday morning? Right as they opened? Yikes. Upon checking with three other workers, they figured it out and all was good in the world again. Crisis averted. The donuts selected were the chocolate iced, fruity pebbles, and maple bacon bar. I wasnt overwhelmed by their donut selection, but let me tell you...that maple bacon bar is delicious! The fruity pebbles was way too sweet for me, but I was impressed that the cereal on top was still crunchy and not stale. Overall I was impressed by the quality of the yeast donuts. I also enjoyed the chicken fried steak and the biscuit. The biscuit was flaky and moist while the breading for the steak was crispy and well seasoned. The gravy was a perfect pairing - creamy and not overwhelming. I wasted my money on the addition of the fried egg. Im used to fried eggs being runny and this was cooked all the way through. If you order online there is an option for a runny egg so Im assuming this is where the difference is from. Regardless, it was a savory breakfast that ranked a strong three out of five.

Long line (out the door) but moves at a steady pace with 3 order taking positions. Took about 7 minutes to place an order with a 15 minutes wait (biscuit sandwiches made fresh take time). The store seems geared towards puting out a quality product. The fried chicken seems homemade and the sandwiches are artisan. Biscuits are a solid 5⭐, donuts are 3⭐, sanwiches 4⭐ and I have not tasted the beverages. Some items are pricey ... 8oz O.J. cost $2.25. Overall, I will continue to visit. Due to pricing, maybe once or twice a month.

Delicious biscuits and the best donuts Ive ever had. Service is fast, price is reasonable. I went for lunch close to closing time and they still had a full case of donuts. Everything tasted very fresh and high quality. Ill be going here for breakfast and lunch frequently Im sure. Only negative is that there is not really any seating to speak of, just a small counter with stools. Its primarily a takeout arrangement.

First time I ever came here they had a biscuit sandwich named the Cubano, I think, which was basically a cuban sandwich on a biscuit. Regrettably, it has left us replaced by what seems to be some rotating specialties. However, a Southern Classic Id recommend still exist with some customization on the menu; Bsicuit, Sausage Patty, Fried Green Tomato, and peppered white gravy. Get it, thank me later ;)

If you want something other than a donut, it takes a while. My experience was 25mins + for two biscuit sandwiches. Maybe because they are new. If you want a donut, you get it before you have a chance to pay. Had the carrot cake donut and it was good. Prob will wait to come back for the biscuits until they can get into their groove.

Was invited by one of the employees to the friends and family test run today. As a neighboring business, I was glad to get to meet the owners and employees. The food was delicious, especially the chicken biscuit. I will have a tough time not walking over to Rise after a hard jiujitsu workout from now on.

First trip to Rise for their grand opening. Im from the deep south, so biscuits are my thing. I can easily say that the biscuits at Rise are legit. Excellent chicken biscuit. Fried bologna biscuit was delicious (deep south, remember). Donuts are devine as well. Treat yourself and go.

Rise offers very creative donuts that are fantastic. They also offer very good biscuit options. There is even a self-serve kiosk to supplement the registers during busy times. However, there isnt much seating available for the weekend crowd.

They know how to make a southern style biscuit! All biscuits highly customizable and very delicious. Designed for grab and go; however a few tables are outside and counter height bar inside if cant wait to partake. Great and fast service.

Rise is the new best place in town to get your breakfast. The biscuits are amazing, and have a ton of choices, but the donuts are the MVP for sure. Rotating great flavors in and out you can get something different everytime you go in!

Expensive for breakfast, the food was suprisingly creative and delicious, but for the value it didnt exceed any expectations to warrant a $7 to $9 breakfast sandwich. The concept was complex and not 1st time user friendly.

The food is great and pretty good price. Its always out of donuts and I find it annoying that when you ask for a wait time on them they will tell you that they are completely out, then 10 minutes later come out with them.

My oh my, try the Cookie Dough Bullseye and the Pineapple Basil Pistachio Gormet donuts...the flavor is out of this world amazing!! The Fried Chicken Biscuit will rival any others!! Great team of people!!

Amazeballs biscuit sandwiches. Chicken with some honey = real nice!!! Free donut holes on Sat when you buy other stuff. House coffee is even really solid. Good staff!
