Was glad to find a bar close to home with a lot of live music coming in. After a few visits, decided there are better bars around and the acts coming in are all washed performers so not worth going to see. Its so dirty, pretty smelly and run down inside. Last time I went you could inside the ceiling that was falling down. Service was not friendly and the food was not that great. I noticed they had a sign saying they have started delivering their "famous pizza." I tried it once while at the bar and it was so bland, not sure why anyone would want that delivered to their house.

Last time I went here was 6 or 7 years ago to hear a band. Back then the sound was bad, the food was bad and the service was meh. Went back again because a band I wanted to see was there and was pleasantly surprised. Evidently its under new ownership. Of most importance to me, the sound was good for the live music, but the place has had a facelift. Obviously newly remodeled and new furniture. The food is way better now, and the wait staff was super attentive and friendly. I wont hesitate to be back!

I went in as an industry employee to meet my fiance also industry and her friend also industry to be greeted by the most aggressive door man ive ever met at 6 pm your bar lost at least 300 and bartenders lost 100 because this guy is on killer mode 24 7 congrats you have chive events going on but Im not paying money to a place where I got greeted the way I did I will ban this place from all generations of my family doubting it will last that long

Update: I liked this place so much and saw so much potential if I gave it the care it deserves, I decided to buy it shortly after I posted this review in Dec 2015. Came there to try the pizza and burgers Ive heard so much about. Ive been to this place a few times in the late 90s and this place is changed a lot for the better. I will be back to check out one of their concerts as a few local bands Im into play there.

me and my friends came to "hatricks" to watch the lightning game. we heard great reviews so we decided to check it out. the lightning game started and they put it on only one of the small TVs :( the projector was on some Auburn vs. Alabama college football game. I was highly disappointed. you cant score a hatrick in football. smh. never again. . .

Staff was super friendly and easy to get along with. Good rapport is what you look for in a bartender and these girls were professionals not sloppy novices. Each drink was exactly as it should be no more no less and I had a fantastic time for the short time I spent there. Affordable brews and a comfortable atmosphere, what more could you want?

Came here a while back to see my friends brothers band perform here. Hes the drummer. Really relaxed place filled with good vibes, especially if theres a band playing. Bar is very good and servers are attentive. Whether you want to hear live music or just have a good drink with your buddies, if youre in the area, this is a very good place to go!

I can tell you enough good things about this new place...great food,great sound system,great bands...beware Deep Ellum...folks in North Texas wont have to drive to Dallas or Fort Worth to catch a great show. Bonus: the owner is always there and He seems like a really cool guy who likes to hang out with his patrons..really cool.

Amazing bar staff. Ashli is the best. Good food (better if they switched from Sysco). Good music on the jukebox. Lots of friendly regulars. I moved from Michigan recently and feel like Ive made several friends at this bar. Its not always packed but its full of good people all the time.

My first and only time here I was less than impressed. I know I have good taste in beer, but the price of my Sam Adams seemed to go from $5, I guess during happy hour, to $10. I didnt know about HH or when it ended and wasnt notified like every other place Ive been in.

I love coming here, I always have! But now that Jason has taken over, he has done wonderful things with it! It is so much cooler and nicer in here and always has something going on. Wait staff is very friendly and drinks are good. Definitely will keep coming back.

New owner that doesnt understand the local crowd, and and is relying on the previous owners reviews to make money (used to be a bad ass place). Nothing but tribute bands and music school kids. Disregard the Observer reviews.
