Would give 5 stars. Love their Center cut Full rack of ribs. First time my fiance got them they were cooked perfectly. When I decided to try them..they were great. We like the sauce not to be drowning the ribs and it more cooked in...but not burnt. Then each time I got a craving for ribs we went there. But whoever was cooking them was getting bad at them. Barely warm...sent them back one time for them to come back dry and burnt. Had to return them and was told that there was only one more rack of ribs left for the night. They did the best they could. Problem is...they dont discount nothing off your check for crap. I took my fiance there for his birthday on the 16th of August. He got ribs too. It was like we got a half rack of ribs and then some tiny baby bones stuck on the plate. African American manager came over and said what is wrong. I slide the plate to him and said what is wrong? He looked at it like there was nothing wrong. He asked again. My fiance started telling him...I was so upset that I said hold up baby...NO I WANT YOU TO TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE!!!! This is his birthday and we could have went ANYWHERE!!!! BUT, we came here. He looked down again and said it looks like you both got a half a rack of ribs and just some bones. I said RIGHT!!!!!!!! He said he would take care of it. Which he did. But he also has known that this is about the 5th time I have had problems with the ribs. But no coupons for future visits no discount on the check. NOTHING!!!! Not good customer service in my opinion.

Started off by asking our waitress for a black & tan. Unfortunately she had no idea what I was asking for so I compromised and asked for a Guinness instead. My date wanted the "beergarita" which is a frozen margarita with a corona stuck in the top for good measure. Instead what she received was a mug full of beer and a tiny bit of frozen margarita. Disappointed already, I insisted we stay positive and kept saying the food would make up for it. I ordered the baby back ribs for myself and the lady ordered the New Orleans steak & shrimp (in which she requested to have it cooked well well well done). Shortly thereafter, the food arrives and the ladys steak is so rare that even I wouldnt touch it. The waitress disappeared for a good 10 minutes before she came to check up on us. So while we waited, we munched down on the ribs, which I have to say were downright delicious and probably the only reason this review is getting 3 stars in the first place. When the waitress showed back up, we explained the situation about the undercooked steak. She looked at it and agreed. The waitress put in a new order and brought out a new steak, this time cooked as requested. Honestly though, after all that waiting, we were not impressed with the flavor or quality of the steak. After this experience, its unlikely we will ever go back. Too many other good restaurants in the DFW area that we would be missing out on!

When I first tried this place the service was great and the menu was pretty good. HOWEVER, I wouldnt step within 10 yards of this place now. NOW the management and staff are clueless clowns. First off as a person with food allergies I make sure to avoid establishments who do not take customer request seriously and my friend 54th Street is that time of establishment. I called in a to go order and asked for steak and cheese sandwich minus the peppers, onion, and mushrooms. Well instead of the plain sandwich, I received a South of the Board steak and cheese. Now COMMON SENSE would have told someone that if the individual couldnt handle the basic why on earth would we give them a sandwich with tomatoes, onions, and jalapeno peppers?? Then when I called the store to speak with the manager the little moron starts getting smart with me. The only reason I did not take the food back to the restaurant Friday is because of the severe weather warnings I was receiving near my home. Then when I call the corporate office instead of receiving any assistance some jerk calls and offers me a gift card as if I would EVER risk my life by entering this establishment again. Dinners beware... this is NOT a place to dine.

Save your money! Bad experience. Server was slow and inattentive to our party. Food took over 20 minutes to come out. It took even longer to process everyones checks. One order was incorrect. Asked one server to take a group picture and she did so with an attitude. The food was not great to me. Several people complained of their chicken/turkey being too dry. Lack of flavor. They recommend getting their salads with dressing vs ordering it on the side. The salad came out and the lettuce was soggy. Server offered waffle fries but failed to let people know they were extra. They even charged one person when she wanted extra bread but they provide it to the whole table. Which the party was 16 and they didnt provide enough. Not to mention it took awhile to get the bread. I will never visit this place again.

While we were dinning another server started cleaning booth opposite from ours. She took a rag and first wiped the floor, then seat, then table and then open ketchup and mustered bottle and cleaned the nosal of the bottle with the same rag. So disgusting to se such level of unhygienic ways. Could not trust my food and eat my food at that point. When complained it to manager, he said sorry we never do that but in future we will make sure to not do that. Even though we did not eat more then half of our food because of these day did not bother to take it off my order and charged full. No courtesy no apology no action. Did not expect that and would never ever go back and would not recommend anyone either because you never know what they will serve you, probably some dirt and bacteria off the floor.

DONT EAT HERE! We waited over 1 hour and 10 minutes to be seated and never got a table. The staff was less than friendly. Then, we were told we were next in line, but another waitress seated another group our size ahead of us. I told the manager, and he did absolutely nothing. Didnt offer to seat us, DIDNT EVEN SAY HE WAS SORRY. We left and will probably never be back. Such a shame, because we were there when they opened. Great food, great atmosphere, very friendly and very helpful staff. Dont know what happened, but all the staff was new this time. I guess they started the place up with staff from another location while they were still hiring. Maybe they should hire people that actually care about the customer, the company and their own jobs. Such a shame.

Food is terrific. Huge menu to chose from. Great service -fast and friendly. Atmosphere is fun, and unique, with something for the entire family with how the bar is separated by glass. Ive had the Chicken Avocado Grille, Monterey Chicken Sandwich and Club Five Four. All are unique, fresh, full of flavor and well made. The Gringo dip is a white cheese with delicious spices and flavor. I look forward to going back to try more of their large, varied menu. Lastly, the beer selection is fantastic with 54 local and regional craft selections. They of course have national brands as well. A welcome restaurant in DFW. Much tastier and creative than national chain restaurants, with a staff that is enthusiastic about serving great - different food and drink.
