1 review 3.0 star rating 4/23/2017 The atmosphere is pleasant. Im from New Orleans so I didnt expect the food to really taste like New Orleans food. The boiled shrimp were great, only thing you have to ask them is to cut the heads. It scared the hell out of me when I opened the bag cuz we dont serve it like that in N.O. They were too skinny too but still good. Only thing, I saved some for later and they were so soggy and mushy I had to throw them away. So eat them right away. The jambalaya is actually succotash on rice but still very very good but super hot- so if you dont like it too hot ask them to minimize the spice. I had to eat 2 spoonfuls then go back an hour later and try again. It took me 2 days to finish it. The shrimp gumbo is actually okra gumbo. Yes there is a difference once okra is added. I hate okra so I never tried the gumbo. The shrimp po-boys are awesome as well but they need to minimize the butter. I felt like i was eating popcorn the last time I ordered the shrimp po-boy and the bread was wet. Also they need to be consistent on the shrimp. I had it twice and the first shrimp were really small and batter wasnt great but the second time was on point- big shrimp, great batter just soggy bread. I have tried to try everything. I dont care for red beans and rice, so sorry I cant comment on it. The location is super convenient for me because its across the street from my job. I work late hours so their store hours are awesome. It smells so good when you walk through the door. Now the shrimp and crawfish rice is the best I ever had. Too many large cut veggies/herbs but once you take them out, oh my God! Awesome! Its a taste I never had before, not N.O., but really good. Overall I would rate a 7 out of 10. Pretty close to N.O. food but not quite. If youre not from N.O., you would absolutely love it because you wouldnt know what to compare it to. My hubbie is a great N.O. cook (the best in my opinion and to others that have tried his cooking) so my expectation may be higher than most. However, as a N.O. native I give my stamp of approval. I would definitely recommend this place. Im going to try the hot sausage on French today and I still have to try the shrimp pasta. My hubbie tried the fried alligator and said it was great and my mom tried the fried oysters, she also loved it!

So I was interested in trying this place, all of my family and myself are from Louisiana. 1st of all the website states that they deliver. I was really excited about this aspect, Cajun food delivered? However when I called they stated that they did not deliver. I still wanted to try them because I saw they have beignets. I couldnt get out so I ordered through seamless. The catfish was better than most places, the fried shrimp I did not care for (has the same batter as the catfish but it tastes better on the catfish), I tried a side of red beans and rice it was okay, not bad for a restaurant. So finally we get the the thing I was most excited to have, the beignets. DO NOT ORDER THEM, I am extremely disappointed, the came hard and crunchy, still with a lot of oil. Beignets are supposed to be fluffy like air, not hard and crunchy like chips. The beignets killed it for me, Ill have to continue making them myself.

I ordered 3 catfish meals over the phone and picked them up during my lunch for both myself and coworkers. Ive never wrote a review concerning any of my dining experiences but felt the need to do so with this experience. Lets just say that me and my coworkers "will never" and I mean NEVER eat at this place again! The food was horrendous!!!!! I have no issue with people opening their own business and working towards their dreams but please and I do mean please provide a good product! We all trashed our meals and just chalked it up as a loss. I was very upset that I wasted $11.00 for such horrible food! Youve been warned!!!!

Ordered delivery through Doordash. I ordered the bourbon cobbler with ice cream. Now I expected the ice cream wouldnt last because its delivery. However, I was extremely disappointed in the cobbler it self. It was ice cold, like they had just taken it out of the fridge. It was colder than the ice cream. i also had the lemon crunch cake which was good. Also the shrimp and grits had way too much butter.

After waiting TWO HOURS for a call-in order through Door Dash, the order was both incorrect and missing items. I ordered shrimp and got crawfish, the seasonings were so hot I couldnt stomach the food, and my drink was never delivered. Door Dash was nice enough to refund my order, but I will never be eating here again.

This was the worst experience which I ever had in my life ....bar tender is f............ she dont know how to treat the people ... once we entered she is sitting like a customer ... and she serves you the beer in the same glass which you had before ... And she demands for the tip. What the heck ...

When you say youll be open at 11:00, it might be a good idea to actually be open. We got there at 11:10, and the guy was just unlocking the door, and sent us away saying he wouldnt be ready for 15-20 minutes. Not the way to run a business!

Check this neighborhood place for some Best Greek, British and Indian food , great service , sports and best pricing in this area .. will come back ... their night dj on weekends is awesome and drives me here ...

Placed order through Doordash, food was alright. Placed a huge order but the alfredo was dry and fries on the platters were almost burned. Would not order again. Not pleased.

This place has the best and biggest frog legs I have ever had. And the staff is nice. The chef there is great at what he does! My kids love the jambalaya. Great find.
