Ive been here twice for the buffet during both the lunch & dinner. The tikka masala is good, and the mutton/goat this time was very good with thick gravvy for the naan. (A smidge on the harder side, but still good.) The mutton wasnt tough this dinner time, and the flavor was better. They push out a large volume and variety for their buffet, so its understandable. The dhal, a staple, is also good. I tried the kahib, shrimp jalfrezzi, and broccoli / cheese khorma as well. I was unimpressed with the jalfrezzi, but it is probably nice for some people. The khorma reminded me of cheesy mac a little bit. The pakora by itself is bland, but, its a guilty pleasure tasty (cmon, its fried). Tandoori is okay, in my opinion, but will be nice for some people. I wish there was actually a hot & spicy dish. The Indo-Pak.chili paneer is the only one that came close. The gulab jamun is still very nice though, serviced fresh and hot. I also tried a mango mousse dessert, which was tasty and not overly sweet. I love mango kulfi, so this also made my night. Excellent dinner service, very friendly staff The teenaged daughter was extremely courteous and polite), family oriented, and is catered to American middle class households. Complementary valet service during lunch hour. Lighting is on the dim side, so I would prefer a tad more lighting. They change tablecloths after each guest leaves. Everything is clean, from the windows to the buffet table, and from the silverware to the glassware and napkins. Overall, pleased, and the buffet is worth the $15. Quick turnaround if you need it, or you can eat and laugh with friends at your leisure.

I went to Nirvana on a weekday with some colleagues. When we drove up, we noticed that we had to use their valet service for parking. When we walked in, we were escorted to our table, and we ordered out drinks. We then got up and filled our plates from the lunch buffet. I was impressed with the number of items in the buffet (16 different dishes, including 8 vegetarian ones for you non-meat eaters). I was a fan of the chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, and the raita. There were two other stations set up as well for salads, as well as dessert. The waiters came by consistently to refill our naan (bread bowl). Overall, I was happy with the lunch, and I would see myself coming back here if I was in the area. What to order: -Lunch Buffet - $14.50 Pros: -Variety of different dishes, including vegetarian -Valet parking (if you dont mind tipping) -Value for all-you-can-eat Cons: -Indian people, this wont meet your expectations for spice level, but its a good place to go if youre bringing in a lunch crew from different backgrounds

What a little gem. We had lived in the area for over a year and had driven past or near it on several occasions. A friend who worked near by had been there a couple of times on business and said it was the closest thing he had tasted to a good English curry and boy was he not wrong. Fantastic service and excellent food with the added bonus of bring your own. Take in what you want and the happily serve it to you with no corkage fees. Some people have commented on the cost, and I guess compared to other restaurants near you would think that, but you get what you pay for and its nowhere near the cost of going somewhere else near by for the same quality. I have only ever eaten there in the evening so I cant comment on the lunch buffet, but if its anything as good as the evening menu, then I wouldnt mind giving it a go.

Ordered take-out lastnight from Nirvana. It was wonderful! The Vegetable Samosas, Naan, & Navrattan Korma were all perfect. When ordering, we asked about the spice level of the Korma & was told it was "mild", I like mine with a little kick so we asked them to make it spicy & it was perfect, not so spicy you cant taste anything, just the right amount. My meal also came with a cucumber salad dish, which was a nice surprise. Everything was packed up to go very well, wrapped in saran so nothing leaked, food was all still hot by the time we got home. And I would say the prices were very average, the entree was $9 and was enough for dinner & lunch the next day. Im not sure why I seemed to see so many "over priced" reviews?? I will definately be back to satisfy my Indian food cravings!

We went to Nirvana for the lunch buffet on Friday, 12th July and it was a terrible experience that we had right from finding a table, to food, service and hospitality. Firstly the table assigned to us was taken by somebody else while we were at the buffet. We informed the owner about this, though he gave us another table but he reacted as if he did a favor let alone being apologetic. We had ordered soft drink initially and it got to us after four reminders and guess what it was absolutely flat and again no regret or apology from the server or the owner. All in all the staff was unconcerned and rude. I would specially like to mention that it seemed as if the owner was doing some favor on its customers, he should take some lessons in hospitality.

Visited for Dinner Buffet for Family night out and every one got very disappointed. What a waste of time Just because of their radio promotion. We drove Sugar Land to memorial leaving many good restaurant on the way....Never again. Worst Indian food tested ever. most of the dishes were old, frozen -reheated and served on buffet table. Most of the reviews here are posted by family and friends. The others do know the real taste of Indian/Pakistani food and are happy with Naan and Paneer. The Decoration was good and money well spent but The owner must visit other restaurant in Houston Area to find the taste of Real Indian/Pakistani food or find Real Chef who knows how to cook real traditional Indian / Pakistani dishes for restaurant.

A very polished and elegant Indian buffet restaurant. Would bring my family, friends or colleagues anytime for a nice atmosphere. Easy to see from street. Parking is decent but I tend to use their valet (which they need to get better...weve waited minutes before on valet not finding our cars and we were looking at the cars right there in the front parking spot.) Elegant interior and seating and the outdoor patio is perfect for cool and sunny days. Delicious food options. I love their creamed spinach and jasmine rice. The chicken tiki masala was excellent and their (jasmine? and rose?) desssert balls are delicious with tapioca. Good service on water too. Always happy to come back. Yes, it is slightly pricier Indian but well worth it.

We went to this restaurant for lunch buffet over long weekend. At around $15 per person , one would expect at least good food if not anything else. The food at this place is far from what is called Tasty and their chicken biryani does not taste or look like chicken biryani at all. Its just plain rice with tomato based chicken curry here and there. Initially, I thought they had the wrong dish tag and inquired the server but he mentioned thats the dish. Other Non-veg/veg dishes are not at all appealing either. The owner/chef did not even bother to offer an explanation.
