The food is good, decent Indian. Not the best Indian food, but also not as bad as some Indian buffet restaurants which typically lag spice and heat to appeal to the masses. The service is horrible. If you want to get your food in a timely fashion I suggest going in at 11 AM. We arrived at 11:15 AM and did not leave until 12:50 PM. The service is so slow, and the meals are never brought out at the same time as your co-diners so people will start eating at your table first and then someone gets there food last which holds up the group. They must have only one cook there and he cooks in some strange order. It was very visible that the owner/manager and coworkers have a huge problem handling a few people in the restaurant. No one has designated sections to serve and it seems like the manager is going around telling his co-workers to serve a table once the table has already gotten aggravated at the excessive wait time. Very disorganized and sloppy. The restaurant was full by 12:15 PM today and you can see people getting angry. Waiters taking forever just to get you a drink. Since the food is mediocre, I cant see them keeping clientele with the time factor. Waiting 30 minutes + for mediocre food? The prices are a little high in my opinion as well. Also, these people have ipads to take your order and use them to cash you out, but it seems like they dont know how to use the technology which also adds to the wait time. Get a regular register and pen and paper if you cannot handle an ipad. Last but not least, I cannot stand the smell in there. It smells like cleaning products (ie Windex) all the time. Granted I guess it is good to know they clean in there but with the humidity in there (poor ventilation), Indian food smell and smell of cleaning products, it is not an environment that makes you want to eat.

Ive been to this place twice. The first time around I went for lunch, and they left a +ve impression on me, perhaps because I ordered from the specials and everything tasted fresh and OK. I also noticed that day, they were serving items at a reasonable pace. The next time around I went for dinner a few weeks later. It was a disaster. Maybe they had some situation with their main chef not available (I can only guess), but whatever it was, the way they conducted business that evening was abysmal. First they kept customers waiting for a minimum of 30 min for their orders and they never bothered to refill water or drink cups or even ask. I ordered "Egg Bonda" for myself and kids mini-dosa for my son. That they got right (easy enough to make). I also ordered "Gongura Chicken" curry. They served chicken mixed with Gongura pickle! Unbelievable. I know a thing or two about how that dish needs to be prepared and it is not as simple as that and if it were, it would not be priced that much. Ive had it at Biryani Pot on Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX. They charge less than these guys for that dish and they make the best Gongura chicken known to mankind. I also ordered "Nellore Fish Curry" and this one was another shocker! They mixed fish with the onion curry typically served when making egg curry - you could literally taste the egg in the curry. All in all, huge disappointment for $41+ spent. If they were incredibly busy that night and had problems in the kitchen, they should stick to the things on the menu that they do well, and not serve stuff like this they have no clue about. Not going back until they get their act together.

I went here with my family new year eve and noticed right away the place wasnt that clean. There was food on the ground under our table. Some family members are vegetarian and others not and we have been to India many times and this was a huge disappointment....I asked waiter if the naan had egg and they said, "yes, but only a little bit". Any Indian should know that a vegetarian diet for Indians doesnt include egg.... This already created doubt and went down from there. The family members that ate the meat dishes liked their food but the vegetarian food was not worth returning for. The pav bhaji wasnt anything like I know it is... It was a potato and onion mix with yellow seasoning and had lentils. I said to the staff that this was not pav bhaji and was given a lame explanation... Which I disagreed with. The potato mix in the the Dosa was cold. The saag paneer was very unusual and was like a spinach cream sauce. The only vegetarian dish that was half decent was the chole bhatura. If I could give a zero rating I would

Food is awesome. Sometimes the service might be slow. This one is better than any restaurant in a 20 mile radius. Today is the best experience I ever got in Hyderabad house. Ordered the food at 10:53AM by phone and reached there by 11:10 AM thinking that it will take at least another 30 minutes for the food. But we are wrong. They already did put a Reserved board for 1 table and food is on the the table for 2 thalis put of 4 people and got remaining 2 thalis in a minute. Food was fantastic. Got Rasmalai as a desert (FRESH and the best I ever tasted) rest of the stuff was awesome. They can still improve thali (veggie) by removing plain Dal (really???) and make it atleast Sambar or some special dal. Taking out 1 star because their weekend special lunch is 15.99$. Never hear this kind of price anywhere in the Texas (except Maharaj Bhog where 10-15 serving people (not Indians) there all the time) for the good Indian lunch. Food is good. Doesnt mean they they will try to charge as much as they can.

My colleagues and I went for lunch. The place was less than a third filled. Four of us ordered their lunch special and the the other person ordered from their menu. Our lunch special took over 30 minutes and the person ordered off the menu took another 20 min. The food was decent, but not anything special (one person grew up in Hyderabad and she said it was ok). The service was unacceptably slow. The kicker was when it was time to pay. We were going to pay separately and imagine our surprise when they automatically added something like 18% tip. Asked why, their reason was its normal to include tips for a group over 4....WTF? I told them its customary for a party of 6 or larger, not 5 and they disagreed. I would never give 18% tip for a slow service. Overall we were there for almost an hour and a half. Not going back there again.

Been eating here for last few months at-least thrice a week. Food is always great... Never been disappointed ... Boneless Chicken or Vijayvwada Biryani as they call it is highly recommended. Will NOT recommend their Thursday Dosa Nights ... Always try to order over phone 30 mins if you are going in got dine-in or to go .. Service is slow however staff is good. Two stars is down for extremely slow service ... Do call them if u dont want to wait ... .... edit... they have started to go lunch boxes ... highly recommended ... order it in advance and enjoy value meal ... either veg or non veg should be more than enough .. Edit - PLUS one star for their support during Houston Floods ... grt job guys ..
