Terrible experience for the second time at this location. doesnt even deserve one star. Its sad because this is the location where I learned about Masala Wok. Its not authentic but its great to grab a mix of chinese and indian foods during lunch or a quick bite to eat. I went there on 12/16 for casual dinner. We ordered two items, a chicken tikka masala and a chinese dish. We waited 15 mins for our food and then they got the order wrong, instead of chicken tikka masala, they gave me chicken kabob...I told them they gave me a different dish than what was ordered and its a $1 extra charge since what I ordered was cheaper. They argued that there was no difference in price when their menu board clearly stated the prices. Anyway, that wasnt the main issue. When the guy took the kabob back, he stood there and ate it. I waited at least 30 mins until they got me my dish. and guess what? Even then, they got the order wrong! They gave me butter chicken instead of the chicken tikka masala. Like I cant tell the difference? At that point, I didnt want to deal with them anymore. I was very upset. Not only that, they had already added tips on the bill before my signature but what they gave me to sign didnt have the breakdown of the amount due. On top of the $2 they already added, I added $2 tip without knowing the tip was already there. They didnt deserve anything extra. I am very disappointed by their service and lack of consideration. They served all their new orders before getting the wrong again order to me. Never going there again. If you go there, check each charge before signing and reconfirm your order. They should really hire people serious people about their jobs instead of kids that dont take anything seriously.

Sometimes when restaurants are doing good they become greedy. This place is a classic example of that situation. Their service has gone to down the drain. The guys serving and taking order are super duper rude. And when I told him to not be rude, he was even more rude! He said, if you knew me you would know Im not being rude. First of all, I just want my food and not your attitude, secondly, why should I know you? We are supposed to have just a minute and half interface and be done with it! Management, try to hire people who know to talk to customers, POLITELY. They stopped giving naan with malai koftha. Come on. Malai kofta goes best with naan and now we need to buy it giving extra 50 cents? Next time when you make changes may be you should do things that wouldnt make customers hate you. Dont get me started on quality of samosa chat and biriyani. The samosa chat was peas curry with a samosa and some yogurt! Masala wok used to me my favorite place close to work,, well, not any more! Thank you management for doing such a bad job and ruining the good experience.

I am in LOVE with Masala Wok! Im only disappointed I did not discover this sooner!! I went to Masala Wok for lunch with a coworker. There were a lot of people inside but the line went fairly quickly. Not knowing what to get, I followed my coworkers order, which was a Butter Masala with garlic naan and rice. The food came out fairly quickly and I was surprised at how delicious it was! There was so much flavor and a nice little kick to it! There was a lot of food as well for the price I paid. The masala went so well with the garlic naan and the rice. I had some left over and had to take some to go! I will definitely be returning for several more lunches and recommend this place to those who may be afraid to try Indian food (as I was). They also have other Asian dishes as well.

The interior was nice and so was the service, however I was very unimpressed by the food. I got the tofu pad Thai and hakka shrimp. The shrimp was excellent but the noodles were lack luster, a doughy noodle with a hint of pepper rather than the flavorful dish we expected. The pad Thai disappointed more than anything. I am complete lover of pad Thai and was sad that they used the wrong noodle and had a competely different taste. I never feel it necessary to add more to a dish but In an effort to improve taste we had to add crunchies and seasonings out of our pantry. They are not a bad restaurant, but not someplace to go if you had a specific Asian dish or taste in mind.

The staff are good at making recommendations, but if youve never been and arent sure what your looking at on the written menu, ask for the menu picture book! The blazing noodles are my husbands favorite, I love the korma malsala with shrimp and extra veggies!!! I order delivery from the grub hub app fairly regularly and the food always comes quickly (usually before estimated delivery time) and quality consistency is very good. Also, if you want to add extra of something that would typically be an upcharge, call ahead and let them know your ordering via grub hub (since they dont do delivery normally) and what youd like, the staff are very accommodating and helpful!

I am really disappointed with this place. I being a vegetarian, ordered a vegetarian dish but it was mixed up with another with non veg in it. When I complained instead of owning up to their mistake they were just not ready to be accountable for the same. The acting manger wasnt even genuinely apologetic about it, instead he just passed the blame upon the chef saying that in the past also the chef has done the same mistake. It seems like this place has a known history of goofing up with orders. Later when I received my original order it was pathetic, the food was tasteless. I will never recommend this place to any one. I wish there was a option to give zero stars.

The place seemed clean and the cashier was friendly. I ordered the tandoori chicken wrap, which came with basmati rice, and a serving of naan (bread). I ate the naan first because I was so hungry, and it was delicious. When I bit into the tandoori chicken wrap, everything tasted great...except the chicken. The chicken was weirdly tough and when chewing it, felt rubbery! I think it was just old frozen chicken spiced up tandoori-style. I like the theme of the restaurant and the spices were excellent, but it seems some of the ingredients definitely need to be ordered from a different supplier (try fresh!) Im willing to give them another shot.

This is my standard place for a fix of the American style Indian food - and I dont mean that in a negative way. As a frequent visitor to Houston (coming from India), I stay away from all Indian restaurants in the city, and instead focus on cuisines that I dont find in India - like good Mexican or Ethiopian or Vietnamese. But every now and then I like to hop into Masala Wok for a flavor or American Indian food - because its delicious, but quite unlike the food we get in India. My favorite here is the butter chicken/ naan combo - delicious - and sufficient in quantity to take me through 2 meals!

GOOD FOOD, GHETTO & PERVERTED DESIS: The food is good at Masala Wok. DONOT GO HERE WITH FAMILY. You will find low life & ghetto people like USPS DESI postman hitting on wifes of other customers, 2 desi teenagers where the boy is fondling the girl shamelessly. I felt embarrassed with my 8 year old daughter to be seated there with these kind of perverts. I think the management should raise prices steeply to avoid USPS desi postman probably a PAKI) and weird teenagers. I will never go to this place of perverts..
