The evening started out nice, enjoying a beer and conversation in anticipation for sushi. Then it all went bad. The other couples order arrived. My wife and I waited and waited. Finally we were informed that they had messed up our order and it may be awhile, our friends waited patiently to begin eating. No big deal, we took this in stride. I inquired about the soup that my wife and Is meals were to come with, they had messed that up as well and not put the order in. We were still very pleasant and asked our friends not to wait on us to begin eating. The waitress then came back with soup quite a few minutes later. It was steamy hot and smelled good, that is until the waitress spilled it all over my wife and I, burning my legs, my arm and her arm. We both shrieked in agony. You would expect a manager at this point. Not here. I left angry, hungry and burnt. There wasnt even an apology, just ”I didnt mean to.” As you can see from the pictures I was saturated in scalding hot soup.

Short and sweet... if you enjoy sushi.. Please DO NOT go here. Wasnt expecting much out of a strip mall sushi place BUT..We have eaten sushi all over the state and this was by far the worst. We ordered three very different rolls, but all we could taste was the mayo/yum yum sauce ( not yummy) that the rolls were drowned in. We also ordered salads that were never delivered to our table BUT ended up on the bill... hmmm. The only redeemable thing was the sake.. of course if the waitress had checked back with us at all, we might have purchased another bottle. Also, it was kinda weird witnessing an 8 year old boy busing tables...obviously child labor laws arent enforced at this establishment. Finally...If you want sushi, travel out of your way to go anywhere else: Kroger is better and Im not putting Kroger down.

I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received. I arrived and was not greeted, nor offered seating. I then sat at the bar alone and was not interacted with for 10 minutes. Walked to a greeter after finding a menu on my own. Placed an order and waited 30 minutes more for a to-go order. When I inquired about my order to the manager I realized it was never communicated to the cook. Extremely disappointed and having already paid at this point I had to wait longer. When I finally received my food I asked for a refund or free order next time. Instead "Mike" offered me 20% off my next meal. I do not recommend eating at this restaurant. As other individuals walked in they were offered adequate customer service, these individuals and myself had "surface" level differences which further saddened me.

One word...Terrible. Im a big fan of sushi and let me tell you this was a disappointment. Me and my husband just ate there and I felt it was necessary to post this. The staff was very friendly, and thats why I give it a star...The soup tastes like dishwater, and has three noodles sitting in the bottom of the bowl. The sushi was warm. The hibachi had to be the worst though...Out of respect for them though, I finished my plate. Be warn that they use IMMITATION CRAB MEAT. The sauce was strong and it just wasnt good. We ended up spending 42.07 for everything including tip. Yall should just go to cheddars across the street...

My expierence has been great up until my last visit. I went in to pick my food up and their card reader was down so they had to take a carbon copy. I gave them a card I dont use often on purpose because I was not completely comfortable with a carbon copy. Wouldnt you know it the next day I have 3 unauthorzed charges on my card. When I tried calling they couldnt understand me. There wasnt a language barrier when I ordered my food. If you go please take cash , do not trust them with your card.

Went a few weeks ago. Tuna was not fresh in the slightest. vegetables had been cut long before the rolls were made. rice was slightly undercooked. only decent roll I had was bathed in yum-yum sauce. Miso was TERRIBLE! I dont usually expect made-from-scratch miso at a sushi bar, but that is the worst instant miso. I wouldnt go here. Minami has better food and service and sushi is the same price.

Ive been here twice, maybe three times now and Ive been pleased every time. Especially tonight, we ordered 3 rolls and soup and were worried that we may not make our movie. However, the food came out in excellent time and was fantastic. Definitely some of the best sushi Ive had in a long time. Our server Hannah did a great job of taking care of us! Will definitely be back.

This has quickly become our go-to sushi place. They have a lovely combination platter called the "Love Boat", it will easily feed two people, they are even nice enough to let us do a substitution on it. The service is quick, food is delicious, and our glasses stay full. The owners are always nice to us when we sit at the bar. Plus their young son keeps us entertained.

Great sushi and service. We eat here about once a week. We always get the yum yum roll and then usually get two or three other different rolls. Everything is always fresh and prepared well. Service is always very friendly and quick. Price is a little higher than I pay in Nashville, but I dont have to pay for parking or gas to get there. Hidden gem in Smyrna.

Service is neither quick or attentive. Others at the table were done eating their meal by the time anothers supposedly cooked Sushi arrived cold after about thirty minutes. Ridiculous. We wanted drink refills and tried to catch two different waitresses attention a many times before having to ask a server for help. Food wasnt even worth the wait.

Great lunch spot for those who want Japanese food without going over 10$. The sushi is good (not great) but it definitely fills you up and satisfies the craving. The hibachi lunch is pretty good as well. The meat is surprisingly good. You dont get the same style fried rice or vegetables but its supposed to be quick. Ill definitely come back.

I got a California roll, Tennessee roll, and Alaska roll (lunch special), and I did not have a problem with any of the foods brought to me. Everything tasted fairly fresh, with nothing over or under cooked. The service was attentive and polite, and my food arrived in under 10 minutes. Granted, I was also one of only 4 people here at 2pm.

Ninja Sushi has amazing Sushi. It is fresh and stacked high. The rice is always well cooked. The interior of the restaurant is fun and well designed. The staff is attentive. Like most sushi places, miso soup and salad come with meals wich are both well done. This particular sushi bar serves cold raspberry sake which is incredible.

Pretty good food with fair pricing. The environment was actually more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Several other diners would sing along with the music every now and then, and the waitress/hostess did well to check up on everyone. Will be dining again.

After bouncing between Japan and Korea for 5 years in the USAF, I Im always on the lookout for good Asian food. Ninja Sushi is the nearest thing to eating in Japan Ive experienced stateside. TVs on the wall and free drink refills notwithstanding.
