Still the best curries in Houston after 30+ years. Its a bit far of a location for us downtowners, but its absolutely worth the drive. Mohamed is a great host and the chefs have been rock solid for 30 years, never missing a beat. The mutton curry is tender and the flavor is awesome. The sunday classics - Daal, Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer, Tandoor chicken and naan are all spectacular. The more traditional dishes are excellent as well, the Biryani is not skimping, its loaded! When I dream of curries, I dream of this place.

Went to this place to pickup dinner. The dirty dishes from buffet were pilled up one top of the other in the dining hall. The place ambience & atmosphere is very bad. Food - ordered Navratna Kurma. No taste, just a ton of oil. Chicken Kabab werent that good either. After seeing the restaurant we had second thoughts in having the food we brought home. Never going back here

I dont know what the reviews were talking about, but I walked in and immediately saw that the buffet choices were not appetizing. As I began eating, I noticed that all the food was either somewhat warm to cold. I was pretty put off by that and did not enjoy the lack of passion put into the food. No wonder my bill came to around $9-10.

The food taste good and a good buffet during lunch time. There is good service and staff. Especially the owner. The owner is actually my grandfather best friend. There are really nice deals in this reastraunt. This is a great place to throw a party, wedding, mela (a muslim feranal) and more. You should check this place out.

Tasty food, nice ambience and courteous staff. Chicken tikka was served on sizzling hot plate at table..I mean who does that in a buffet... Its simply AWESOME!!! Our waiter, Mohammad was very friendly especially we went with our toddler, he made sure our lunch experience was extra pleasant.

FOOD IS OK, PLACE IS PLAIN, & A LITTLE DIRTY. SAW TWO BUGS ON TABLE. The menu online is completely different than in restaurant. the food was just ok. its relatively cheap and seems to be very homemade kind of feel. the exterior is in disrepair and has a sign falling off (seems dangerous)

Amazing tandoori chicken, brought out to the table on a sizzling platter rather than from the buffet warmer servers (we had the lunch buffet)--tender, huge pieces, nice and smoky like really good fire roasted chicken should be. Very nice and courteous staff. A hidden gem for sure.

I had ordered take out from this restaurant and the food was amazing. The Chicken tikka masala was the best Ive ever had. The restaurant itself had only one table for lunch on Saturday. But overall the food was good. I definitely will be back for more.

Not your typical resturant. The food is prepared with care and unlike your average Indian resturant, its far from the generic vindaloo or chicken tikka. Everything we have tried from the menu was delicious.

Excellent food! They cater and also have a large banquet. Talk to Quyuum. He is one of the owners and stays in the dining room. The other owner is the chef himself. You will get personalized service.
