I ordered the Cajun blackened mahi mahi dish with crawfish and shrimp toppings for lunch. Lets just say that the rice side was the only thing cajun and it probably came from a box. There was nothing Cajun, blackened, or mahi mahi about the food. It was basically some flavorless tilapia covered in butter sauce. They couldnt even burn the fish or put enough pepper on it to call it blackened. I thought I was crazy like maybe this is the way Texas does things. Had someone else verify, because I didnt want to seem like I was being the picky one. I really wanted that mahi mahi. It was not mahi mahi and was definitely bland. Was too much in a hurry to fight anymore over this dish. If you ever eat here, stick to the basics or you will be cheated out of your money and your expectations. If this is all youve ever tasted then sure it will taste great to you, but if you ever really taste real Cajun food. This will be an insult to your palate. No reason they looked nervous when I ordered it. Now I think I have food poisoning. Going to be a long day or days, well see. Its funny, the other restaurants got complaints because they didnt know how to Cajun seasonings either. Its the reason why we picked this one.

I work in Greenspoint and have met up with my husband here twice for lunch. We really just dont enjoy it, especially since Im a native of New Orleans, LA. Its mainstream "cajun" food. Its watered down and lacks flavor and nothing has a good kick to it. The service is fast and the restaurant is kept tidy. I didnt care for the way food was seasoned/tasted.

Well unfortunately I can not review the food as I NEVER GOT IT! A co-worker and myself went in for lunch. He ordered ahead of me but they put us on the same table number. His food came and mine did not, I asked multiple times if my food was coming and they said yes. Finally after waiting 30 min I asked for my money back and left. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!

Too bad I cant give them 0 stars.... Hair in my corn and gave me a dirty spoon ... asked for a new one but the man just rinsed it under water and handed it back with white crusty spots still on it. Finally the manager handed me a plastic spoon .... and the food is not all the great. I wont be coming back to this place ever.

Ive eaten twice at this restaurant that serves up cajun cooking with a speedy Texas flair. The crawfish etouffee is something that more elegant restaurants must envy. Strongly recommended if youre eating in the area. The staff are brisk, but helpful and friendly, and the portions are Texas-sized.

Just happened upon this place while staying at the Hilton. Wow.. What a great find. We had crawfish.. Yes, they have them here! (To previous rater) Also had crawfish etoufee and shrimp scampi. It was fantastic all around. Looking forward to stopping by here again.

Always nice staff, food comes out quick and hot... Everything Ive ordered has tasted great. My fave is the blackened salmon with the #2 topping, Yummy!!! Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get, and considering its Seafood!!!

The interior decor needs a bit of updating but the food makes you forget all about that bc it is delicious. Ive had the grilled chicken Alfredo and the blackened salmon topped with a shrimp and crawfish sauce. Theres never been a disappointment!

I phoned in an order T6:00 and the man told me it would be ready in ten mins. I drove there which took 15 mins. I did not recieved my order until 6:40 after it had been sitting there.
