All I can say is that this is an incredible place for many reasons. Every item on the menu that I have tried has been absolutely delicious. The staff is always very cordial and professional. Shawn, the manager, is a world-class human being. My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception in their restaurant, and everything about that experience was completely flawless. The flow of everything over the course of the evening was very smooth, and the entire staff was very attentive and helpful. The amount of personal attention that Shawn gave us in all of our planning was beyond anything we could have asked for. I would without a doubt recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious, reasonably-priced meal or even a venue to host a small event of some sort. You wont be disappointed by anything about the Black Walnut.

We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning, its clearly a popular spot as it was busy - despite its out of the way location. The service was friendly and efficient and we didnt have to wait too long before our food was ready. The airport is a great location with the cafe overlooking the airfield... There is enough happening - even on a Saturday morning to keep you entertained. The breakfast was great, light pancakes, tasty turkey sausages and perfectly cooked eggs... I couldnt have asked for a better start to the day!

Overpriced steak salad with chewy, overcooked steak after I specifically requested medium. Slow service. We are a family of 5 who frequently eats out and wanted to try a new restaurant. Seemed to us all of the meals we ordered seemed overpriced. We do not mind paying for a good meal but this was very disappointing. Environment in restaurant and views were great but everything else needs help.

First time visit to the BWC at the airport -- and it was great! Good food, great views, and nice "undiscovered" location made it all worth the trip. We were on motorcycles, but noticed a Vette club preceded us, and will be making this a stop for both future m/c rides as well as car club stops for lunch. Well worth the trip!

A friend took my to this nice little place tucked away at the local airport. At first I thought we were going to some office building at US customs and wondered why she had brought me. When we got upstairs my whole perspective changed. This place has a great view, great food and a very nice up scale atmosphere. Awesome place!

Love this place great food and views of the airport. The food is fresh. The menu is fairly diverse from breakfast, lunch, salad, dessert, coffee, beer, and wine. My family loves breakfast here and co-workers enjoy the lunch options. Be careful with large groups (more than 6 people) as the food can take awhile.

Got a to-go order this morning, and it took them 30 minutes. By the time they gave us the food it was at room temperature. My guess is that it was sitting out for at least 15-20 min. The bacon was also covered in pepper. I give them 2 star because the eggs werent bad besides being cold.

A hidden gem. This place is upstairs in the Conroe "airport", secluded off of loop 336. This location closes in the afternoon, so come early. Their menu is also a little dmaller than the larger BWC restaurants, and they dont have a full bar. Still, an excellent choice.

Did a Google search for breakfast restaurants and came across this place. Wow! What a surprise! Awesome atmosphere, and incredible food, and fast fast service! Will be riding the motorcycle here for Sunday breakfast often! Highly recommended!

Wish they were open longer but I love it here. My 3 year old could sit here for hours and watch the planes and the food is delicious. Great staff as well, our order is always correct which I cant say for most places.

A true hidden gem in the city of conroe is the Black Walnut Cafe located just above Galaxy FBO. It is a great place to relax, or have lunch. I highly recommend visiting and watching the airplanes takeoff and land!

No ice or ANY DITE drink, the machine is out theyll get it filled when they can. They took my money no problem for the dronk. Very pricey to not be able to get a drink when you go to set down after paying for it.
