Customer Service is terrible and I am here on a Wednesday and its the least crowded Ive seen just before midnight ... The sign says wait to be seated and so we did while employees walked by and didnt warn someone to come to seat us. Then a man says hey and we look up and he signals us with a a hand motion to go take a seat... Waiter was not informed of how Groupon works maybe but... He was dry and almost rude where I felt rushed... After 15min of waiting we tried to flag someone down... The waiter told my friend to go have a seat the waiter is coming as if he were speaking to his child... Maybe this was just a bad night... But I know that they were a bit rude.. Manager was helpful in a sense but by that time I was already frustrated. Pros: Good food a bit price for the proportions, small play area for small children Cons: depending on when you go, the parking sucks, the service is slow regardless of whether its packed or normal flow... Groupon deals are awesome so eh I guess I got what I paid for lol.

Wow! This place has been transformed. Its beautiful, clean, and comfortable. This is not just a hookah bar. Its an amazing restaurant and event space, as well. A group of us ordered all the specialties on the menu last week and we were so impressed. The chef/manager has really done a great job. I work and live in this area and have been to all the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants around. This menu, with a mix of Moroccan, Spanish, and Middle Eastern cuisine, is one of the best and certainly the most unique. The lunch scene hasnt established yet, as this is more of a nighttime spot. That said, I stopped by today to order a Chicken Fattoush Salad to go and took it back to my office. Not only was it an excellent and fresh salad, but also large and reasonably price. I highly recommend this place and hope that they are around for a long time.

Food was excellent and service was fantastic. Theyve put a lot of work into the renovation of this place and its absolutely beautiful. What was NOT excellent or fantastic was when we got our bill. Apparently, Layal or Muhammad, our server, automatically tacks on a 15% gratuity to everyones bill. Wish we wouldve known this prior to ordering. What was even more concerning was when we paid with credit card, Muhammad conveniently failed to return the itemized bill to us. Possibly to extort more gratuity for people who didnt notice they added gratuity beforehand? Who knows. Like mentioned previously, service and food was spectacular. But either this server or management but a damper on the whole experience. Just watch your bill!

.yes the food is very good because of the diversity on the menu you have french, Moroccan Latino american and middle eastern cuisine but The lack of professionalism in the manager who first had a sport uniform and argued with the emoloyés, I manage 3 buisness of the same kind and I have never seen a restaurant manager in such a vulgar outfit, if I remember well His name was rani and when I asked him for some explanations on the menu I was shocked by his ignorance, so I put my question to the waiter who did not have too much trouble answering me, but the frankly sympathetic food of Less than their manager.

1) Bad news first. When we were leaving there were cops because 2 vehicles had been broken into. Shattered glass everywhere. Thank god it wasnt my car. 2) Long wait time for food. Came out about 35-40 minutes after ordering. First dish was overcooked. Second dish tasted like cardboard. 3) Our party was 3 people. We all got charged 15% gratuity? Nice surprise after being served bad food and terrible service. Zero refills when we were out of water and disappeared for 20 minutes after taking our cards. This place is so shady. Never coming back. Thanks for nothing Cafe Layal.

If you met a girl who has never heard of hookah take her here for her first time. There arent very many other hookah bars like this as far as being able to order a legit meal, then a hookah. No, its not the most unique atmosphere, but the food has an OK price and the hookah is fairly cheap. For the first or second date, this would be a pretty good choice. (you dont want to overpay if the date is dull, and at least you can smoke some hookah!)

If I can give less than one stare I will diffnitly do! Do not ever go to this place ! The worst customer survice you can imagine ! The tea was so cold the hookah was flavored so bad not what we were expecting and I asked for a bottle of water they brought it after two hours literally! Do not wast your time and money go to somewhere else if you want to enjoy your weekend that worth what you pay for .

The reason why I gave one star is because of their bad costumer service or bad management. Im a big fan of Crepes but their Crepes always taste horrible , the bald head manager was rude when I tried to tell him that. he was arrogant and had no class act ! on top of that he was screaming at one of his employees with disrespect, the place is nice and neat but the management sucks and food too .

Service was absolute garbage. Waited 45 minutes and they werent even busy. Left only to be chased out bc i had already ordered a hookah. I didnt even get my drinks or a menu and was there for 45 minutes. Waiter answered his phone before even serving me. Not to pull the race card but I feel like its because I was white. I watched other people walk in and get instant service

A good place to get late night eats. They have a nice non smoking section if you want to stay away from the hookah fumes. I ordered the falafel wrap and cheese flatbread. The garlic sauce which came with the wrap was just yum. They also have a nice cafe serving sweet and savory crepes inside. Totally worth a visit.

I really like the food and the hookah flavors. This place has a chill atmosphere and I enjoy the setup. The service is not that good though. The waiters and waitresses are very forgetful. Ive had to ask 2-3 times for them to bring something on several different occasions.

Crepes were pretty good, the service was very friendly! The atmosphere is something I would describe as Russian in Lebanon. I didnt try the hookah, but I would feel comfortable coming back with freinds to chill with some hookah and snacks.

First time there and I enjoyed the Chicken Shawarma Plate. Ill probably go back as the food was great and the initial service was good. Then all but one server left and it took 30 minutes to get a water refill, a to-go box, and the check.

They over charge and double charge your card . Horrible attitude when i tried to call to clear the payment issue . I am complaining to BBB now. This is the third time this happened to me. I am done with Layal. Its a shame.
