We love Indian food. Unfortunately we have been unable to find any half way decent Indian in the Fort Worth area and this place was par for the course. We chose to give Indian kitchen a shot because its got quite a few good reviews. I dont know others experience with Indian food but this stuff is mediocre at best. Our papadum came to us cold straight from the fridge. The mint and tamarind chutneys were as thin as water and had about as much flavor. We ordered two naan, one garlic and one peshwari. The garlic naan was passable albeit very strong raw garlic flavor. The peshwari naan was not passable. If youre familiar with peshwari you know it should have raisins and nuts. This particular naan had cinnamon sugar and no nuts or raisins. Whaaaat? My wifes paneer korma was decent. Not great but not the worst weve ever had. I ordered lamb vindaloo. I was really torn because the lamb was, oddly enough, some of the most tender and tasty I have had in a long time. It was not gamey at all with succulent little pieces of fat still attached. But the gravy... It sucked. Vindaloo should have a definite tang or pucker to it as it is supposed to be made with vinegar. You should also be able to taste an explosion of flavor in your mouth. This tasted like chili powder paste. I like hot and it was hot but thats all it was. No flavor what so ever. Needless to say we will not be going back.

Was looking for some Asian or Indian food on a cold, wet, and icky Sunday night. Was surprised to see that Eastern Kitchen had closed and this place popped up. From the outside, this restaurant doesnt look like much but my sister and I gave it a try. Im glad we did! The food is delicious and comes out nice and hot. The masala and paneer is so tasty and has good taste. Nice amount of spice and seasoning. Portions are large too so its very easy to have leftovers. Menu is large and has many varieties to choose from - lamb, chicken, vegetarian, and seafood to name a few. You can even choose how spicy/hot you want your food. A nice plus! Service is fast and efficient. They had forgotten to get us our samosas appetizer, so they gave it to us for free. :) The staff is friendly and talks to you like a friend or family member. I hope these guys make it! First time to have Indian food in the Haltom City/Fort Worth neighborhood.

We had the buffet on a Sunday for lunch at the Indian Kitchen. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated promptly. We felt very welcomed and were asked if we had questions. The food was excellent. I cook a lot of different foods at home that use similar spices and could taste the balanced use of spices in their dishes. They had a section of vegetarian options as well as a section with meat. The tikka masala which is a standard in most Indian restaurants was excellent. A nice gentlemen came over and explained that they rotate different dishes in the buffet as well as keeping certain favorites there everyday. There were tablecloths and cloth napkins on each table which was a wonderful touch since so many restaurants use disposable napkins. We will return.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the metroplex. I used to drive to Richardson to get my favorite Indian food, but now I have it within walking distance. My friends from Dallas drive here to eat at Indian Kitchen. The food is good and always fresh. The service is good. They know us, know which table we want, and know what types of dishes we like best. I normally get mild, but when Im in the mood for spicy, they will up the heat on the food without question. My favorite things are the dosas, chana masala, palak paneer, garlic naan...actually, I cant pick a favorite! Also, if you ask if they have anything special, they often have off menu items that they prepared special that day for the buffet and still have fresh ingredients to make for dinner.

My fiance and I went 4 weeks ago on a Friday and had Tandoori Chicken w rice and yogurt sauce and drank a Mango Lassie. All delicious!! No words, this is the real deal homemade Indian food. The staff was absolutely friendly and the service was prompt and efficient and kind. I dont know if its a cultural gesture but our waiter was such a gentlemen with outstanding manners and I dont see that often especially in the food and beverage industry. Weve ordered to go, ordered delivery and today we went to their buffet cant beat the price and as always their food is delicious every single time!! My favorite spot after church...I encourage you to try it.

Their cuisine is EXCELLENT!! I particularly get the Vegetarian items, but with or without meat, the seasoning, spices, and flavor would be the same. I also appreciate the chef often creating a dish for me (Chana Saag), which is a combination of two items not listed on the menu. This was served without opposition on my first take-out visit, and any visit thereafter. My other favorites are Gobhi Manchurian & Vegetable Jalfrazies...YUMMM!! Padma also assists in branching out my tastebuds with an occassional unexpected, yet appreciated surprise sample of a dish she feels I may enjoy. I ABSOLUTELY suggest their cuisine, as I am a complete fan :).

They are a small and cozy place. Its bring your own beer. The owners are always present and there to take care of us. The food is fantastic. One TV that was on sports (bonus!). But most importantly, I have a small child with a ton of food allergies (milk, soy, wheat, eggs, nuts) and they cater to his needs. They take shrimp out of the fridge that has not been marinated especially for him and cook it on a clean surface to make sure it doesnt catch the oils of the other foods. This is very important to us and they make sure they take care of his special needs. A big thanks and two thumbs way up to this outstanding establishment.

Never had such a horrible experience of throwing party ever in life. Not organized as it had to be. Totally messed up snacks and dinner by allowing at the same time that guests got confused on it. Dinner plates shrinked in size. I was like "r u kidding me". Be aware while negotiating the price. Anything can happen after the function is over. Seriously it happened to b such an embarrassing moment that we realized later. Never ever gonna step in this restaurant ever again. And i am not getting confused with the other restaurant nearby. Btw party was on may. My husband told me not to review but sorry i cant help it.

Went there with my mother and sister, both of whom are picky eaters and not well versed on Indian cuisine. Ive spent a few years in London and have tasted my fair share of quality Indian food, and this place left all three of us very satisfied. The staff were very accommodating and made my mother a mango sweet tea. The curry portions were just right and delicious, and the appetizers were generous. The prices were fair considering the quality was top notch, definitely a place to go for celebrations with your family and friends. I will definitely be coming back, and its a 2 hour drive for me!
