Had the buffet today. No variety in the meat items - all chicken. Hindus dont eat beef and I respect that, but some variety is needed - lamb, goat, pork, fish, or shrimp. I was told they eat all those items. The buffet set up must not have been working properly as most of the food was not hot (temperature-wise). The non-buffet menu is huge - 39 meat curries, 14 veggie curries, 10 fish curries, 10 biriyanis, 8 tandooris, plus many other items. Hard to imagine freshly prepared dishes with a menu that large. Nice, friendly folks at the New Paradise, but other Indian restaurants in Wichita serve better food in my opinion.

I came here for dinner to order off the menu. I ordered the chicken biryani, chicken tikki masala, and lamb masala. I had rice and naan as well. For my drink, I ordered the mango lassi. Everything was delicious! The food had so much flavor and textures. The restaurant is small and has limited seating so the wait may be a while. The wait for food was also long; however, the staff and owner are very friendly and they try to be quick. The wait is definitely worth it! Update May 21, 2017: Restaurant expansion look to be completed - restaurant now has 12 tables instead of only the original 4 tables.

My boyfriend and I love Indian food, so we were sooo excited when an Indian restaurant opened up just down the block! We were not disappointed. My chicken tikka masala was perfect! A nice spicy kick to it, and the chicken cooked to perfection, it was easy to cut with my fork! My boyfriend loves REALLY spicy food, and his lamb vindaloo definitely satisfied that, while still being flavorful. The portions were big and the pricing is the same as any Indian place here in Wichita or our favorite spot in NY. We will probably be eating here at least once a week! Very happy!

Went for the lunch buffet this lunchtime. Seriously impressed by the food. Very helpful staff. Looked over the dinner menu. It is extensive. Goes beyond the chicken, beef and seafood boundaries. A vegetarian will be thrilled with having lots of choices. There are lamb and goat dishes as well. Planning our first dinner soon.

Wichita doesnt have many Indian restaurants and this place takes advantage of it. Poor quality. They have served the rotten mutton briyani in their buffet once. Come on people, please dont do this for money. Have some honesty and ethics. If you could work on your food quality, you will have great business in Wichita.

I went there today and had the chicken tika masala. The wait staff was friendly and the food was incredible! The only drawback is the fact that it does not feel as though the restaurant has a rhythm of service yet. I plan to come back for a lunch buffet in the future so I can try more of what this place has to offer.

Very disappointed with the food. Being an Indian I never had this type of food in my life. Trash.....I ordered spicy biryani...guess what I found. Just chilli powder and rice. This bad. Never go to this restaurant. Zaytun is better than this one. Guys do not spoil your stomach. Bad food.

Great Indian buffet! However, it is way overpriced at $13.99 per person. The price was nowhere to be seen and we just assumed it might be comparable to other lunch buffet prices, but it was way pricier than expected. It was good food though, but probably not worth how much it costs.

had lunch buffet. very good. they had chicken, fish, surprisingly good vegetarian dish (I am a meat person), veggies, 2 kind of bread, 2 kind of dessert. 35$ for two, just a bit on the expensive side but glad that we can find some real indian food in Wichita, so I will go back.

The food was amazing! Definitely my favorite Indian restaurant in Wichita. The chicken tikki masala and the butter chicken curries are highly recommended. Garlic naan is very good too. They also have an all you can eat lunch special from 11am to 3pm for $11.99!

Found out this place is sunni halal, so we tried the Boneless Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani and loved it! Wish it was spicer for us Pakistanis. Youll be seeing us again! plus the owner were so lovely in answering our questions about the food being halal.

They have a really good menu with so many authentic south Asian dishes. You get big portions and so many spices! They need to be a little careful with washing their glasses, though. There were little floaties in the glass of water lol

This is the best Indian restaurant in town. The most authentic tasting Indian food, great variety of cuisines (north Indian, south Indian as well as indo-chinese fusion), pretty decent service and very clean. Will go back again!

Not quiet as flavorful as Passage to India .... but definitely good for a quick something. Also the selection is limited on the lunch buffet that is priced at a fairly steep $12 per person no drink included.

Wow - what a great place. Had the shrimp krishna something. Had nuts and fruits in the curry. Small place - very low key but what a taste sensation. I will go back before I have to go back to Portland.

Food was fresh, chutnies were fresh too. I eat out a lot and can tell the difference if fresh or frozen food is coming out of kitchen, this place is good and healthy.

The food was really tasty. I enjoyed how some of the options (lunch buffet) were quite spicy (in the hot sense). The Naan was also very fresh and hot.
