I was surprised when I accidently discovered this place on Rufe Snow Dr. As you know there are no other Indian Food or Grocery place in a 10 mile radius around this place. It was a much needed store and food stall. I call it a food stall and not a restaurant as it combines both a grocery store and a couple of table and chairs to sit and savor delicious Indian food. I have been here a half a dozen times now and have not seen anbody sit in and eat. It is more like you call in the order and pick it up. Their menu is quite limited, but is a good start. They seem to be known for their Biryani (Chicken or Vegetarian), with specials on Tuesday for Vegetable Biryani and Friday for Chicken Biryani. The Samosas were not that great, it was more like frozen samosas. Most of the biryani seems to be precooked and microwaved at the time of the order. Other than that, the food was delicious. The Dal especially is good too. The grocery store is as usual, a little overpriced, does not carry all the well know brands, a lot of room for improvement in better pricing and better brand products. All in all, welcome to the neighborhood.

This is a great "hole in the wall" indian spot. The food is authentic, homemade, fresh and always delicious. The atmosphere is not great, but its a small operation and you can always order to go. The prices are great too, which is always a plus. We always go here when we are craving indian and have never been disappointed. The first time we visited the store we were a little concerned with cleanliness. I am happy to say that this has GREATLY improved over the past year. They even purchased 2 highchairs because we came in with our young kids and they did not have one. The owner (who is very friendly) told us he would buy some for next time and we were surprised to see some there the next time we visited (we go once every 6 weeks or so...dont eat out very often).

I have been once, but I will be back. Craving Indian, I saw the reviews (good reviews on yelp overall), and thought Id check it out. I like to have variety on my plate, so we ordered 3 entrees, 2 samosas, and naan. 21 bucks. I can eat for a month on the amount of rice they gave me. 21 bucks. The Tikka Masala was a little soupier than what I am used to, but still had good flavor. The curry was great. The samosas were definitely awesome. 21 bucks and it made 5 meals for us. You cannot beat it. 4 stars because it is a good hole in the wall (dont expect something fancy). One suggestion: Id call ahead. This is a mom and pop joint. They make your meal to order with love. That takes time.

This place is EXCELLENT! A new favorite for sure. Food is freshly made and you will not be disappointed. My husband and I ordered the chicken tikka masala, curry chicken, chicken biryani, naan, rice and two drinks. All dishes were delicious and the owner is really nice. They also have a grocery section inside so be sure to check it out. Everything is also large portions and really affordable. Our whole meal was $22 and we have plenty for another meal tomorrow! We will definitely be back! Oh, and be sure to get the mango lassi for a little something sweet afterward. :)

Ive never posted a review for any restaurant before, but I felt it was deserved here. Excellent tender beef curry! So many other places disappoint on the beef, but not here. Amazing! The paneer masala - also fantastic! So much flavor. Even the nan and rice were great. You always hear that small family run restaurants are the best. This one certainly proves it. It is also a small grocery store and it looks modest, but you must try it! The prices are awesome and the food is as good as any expensive Indian restaurant. Excellent, excellent food.

This place is disgusting. We really need a good Indian restaurant in Keller NRH Watauga area but let me make this clear...THIS IS NOT IT. A cross between a cafe and a grocery store. Unfortunately you can see inside the kitchen (or fortunately...) Very dirty. Tandoori I had was completely dried out and no where near edible. If the low volume doesnt shut this place down it is a matter of time before the health inspectors will. Somebody PLEASE open a good Indian restaurant in this area as there is no competition. Easy Money??

Pretty great! If ur big on ambiance or presentation this aint for u. If ur into great foid, this is the spot. Naan if great and I have tried everything on the menu, all really good. A lil pricey but for being so close, worth it. I have to emphasize it is not a great sit down spot, u order, pickup food and ur on ur own. Its hot in the summer and the seating is limited but I just bring it home. Cant recommend this place enuff, nobody here speaks good english but just a lil adventurist and u will love it!

This place used to be nice to go to. The owner used to be nice and humble. The food used to be decent. I think of late the owner has realized that there arent too many Indian places around this part of town and has been acting like the customers ought to be greatful to him for setting up shop here. Bloke needs to learn his manners. He has groceries too, but dont buy any of his frozen goods. They look like theyve been there for eons. I wonder if any health inspectors ever pay them a visit.

I go here all the time I never thought I would like Indian food but I definitely enjoy their food. The portions are big so I always get to have like 3 meals or of one. It is a little hot to sit down inside but its worth it they make your food quicker if you eat it there plus you get more on your plate. Always nice people at the register. Love the chicken biriyani and naan is so delicious. It does look like a five star restaurant but I dont judge a book by its cover.

The best place for food quality, price, portions and costumer service! If you dont like it spicy ASK for non spicy they will make it for you. The portions are deceiving at first but they will fill you up. The food is fresh, made when you order. The place is a "hole in the wall" in a street mall but it is worth to go. We live in Arlington but we dont mind the trip every week, sometimes twice! The naan is huge and hot! Great price, just $1. Ask for their specials!

Lady at the cashier was the rudest person I have met all year. She acted as though she had a serious attitude problem and everything was so frustrating for her, especially when we asked her for simple stuff, like the price of drinks, how much stuff in the store was, just everything. I hope God turns that frown upside down she is killing you alls business in my eyes. The food was fine. My rating reflects how my family was treated.

Excellent!! This has quickly become my favorite Indian restaurant. The atmosphere can be a little off-putting if your expecting something fancy, but the food is hard to beat. Lots of authentic dishes along with some Americanized versions of the more popular dishes that make them boneless or less spicy. The Chili Chicken is unlike anything Ive ever had and I highly recommend it. The curry and biryani are wonderful as well.
