We got here around 7.30pm and was the only couple at the restaurant. We ordered 1 entree+rice and one bread menu, and the food took about 40 minutes to be served. We both sat there waiting without being informed anything why the food take so long. Even the host (or manager im not sure) and the waitress were not there. Nobody was there for us to ask whats going on. After we got our food around 8.15pm. We decided to just pack our food for take home and asked for the bill. And believe it or not it took us another 10 mins to get the bill. Worst service Is ever had in Fort Worth, actually in the States. The food is ok, but other than that is horrible. No wonder why there were only two of us at the restaurant. They should have offered buffet for dinner too (every day) since they could not handle this problem properly. Just go with the buffet so no more customer suffers like us.

Nepalese, Be aware, had a party of 50 people a week ago for Pasni. Worst food ever, appetizer and food, were uncooked, meat item watery with no meat esp the goat, none of the people who attended the party were satisfied, poor service, a server guy running around for the people who come to the restaurant and the same person assists with the event, no help. You are the server, you run around. I was running around to get the guy to get plates, napkins, spoons, not all food were placed, missing items. awful place to have a party. My guests were scared. Never step into this place again. Nepalese, this is a nightmare for party. The food was not even comparable to the buffet displayed. I would rate 0. Bhattarai Family

Excellent good. Good service. Friendly staff. We went here tonight after my graduation ceremony. We arrived right at 9pm (Tuesday) not realizing they were about to close, but the staff welcomed us graciously. We had the buffet this time and the food was very good. The saag paneer was nice and the kids liked the tandoori chicken, naan, and fresh fruit and rice custard for dessert. Weve ordered off the menu before...lamb jalfreezi, pakora, samosas, chicken 65...theyre all good. Try the onion chutney on some papadom chips. Its surprisingly mild and tasty. If youre not sure about Indian food, this is a good place to try on a Tuesday when they have the budget all day for 7.99.

Lamb korma was excellent, however it took an hour to be served with only six other tables in the restaurant. Wifes shrimp dish was very over cooked. I felt so bad when I finally received my meal as I was the only person in the restaurant that had been served. My wife and I finished our meal before the next table was served. Extremely slow service. So, judging by our first visit to India Star, food seems hit or miss and you may need to plan for a lengthy stay.

Great place to eat. A little background story; I have traveled all the way from Rowlett to eat here. Before this place I tried almost every south asian resturant in DFW, Richardson, plano, Denton area. Most of them were very high priced. I must say this place was the best by far without a doubt. And it was actually surprisingly cheap. Theor interior decoration is also nice with a bar. A good enviroment to eat out.

The buffet was excellent! It was very reasonably priced ($10/adult) and had a wide variety of items. It was all delicious. I kept going back for more even though I was stuffed. The desserts were delicious as well. Some of the options are spicy - most were fine for my 10 month old old to eat. She likes flavor! This is going to be a frequent stop for us. The service was also fantastic.

Ordered food is great and they do spicy if ordered. We went for buffet on Sunday and food was cold and not seasoned. I am not sure if there was a change in ownership but something was missing in their usual delicious recipes. Ok Im back again and the goat curry is so delish its hot and spicy like I love it. I give 5 stars this time and a thumbs up.

I drove 10 miles to have my dinner at this place and found that restaurant is already reserved for personal function . There was no information on the website that this restaurant is fully booked and no other customers are allowed. On the website it was showing normal timing " Open Today: 11:00am to 11:00pm.

Food is good and service is prompt. Love to dine in but damn. 15 bucks for a single to go tray. Im feeling robbed.. should of put some food in my pockets. No weight just a small Styrofoam Togo and one small sauce cup for desert. They did give me fresh naan so thats a plus but still, 15 bucks!

Excellent service with a beautiful ambience ! The food is topped with amusing aroma and spices. One of the best restaurants in Fort Worth which Ive visited. Dont forget to try the spicy chicken hariyali and fish amritsari. And If you like mild food damn then Chana bhatura (mild ) is a must.

My most recent visit the food trays were doing a pretty good job of warming the grub. The inexcusable sin of luke warm buffet food had been a chronic problem here until I ratted them out here in my review. I am departing in a few minutes to test the food temps once again. Stay tuned.......

Excellent atmosphere with very welcoming staff. I enjoy coming with my family due to the accomodating food allergies that we share with the chef! Food is well balanced with seasoning and spice. The spring Dolsa is the big hitter for our family. Keep up the excellent service and tastes!

Just left with 2 to go orders of boti kabobs suppose to be with salad and they gave us diced meat with union not grilled no kabob stick. And charged us extra for salad. Website menu photo is false advertising. We should have believed the reviews. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD.

Lunch buffet had a decent selection of items. Was happy to see curry goat and it was cooked well. The tandoori chicken was overcooked and this dry and almost flavorless. Naan is made to order. Nice setting, very spacious. Has vegetarian options available.

The vindaloo here is fantastic and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Another cool thing that makes this a must go to place is that they genuinely liked having my little ones around. That speaks volumes and they have definitely earned my business.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! Friendly service and a nice environment. If you havent tried it yet, its a MUST!! Most of the food establishments in this area are so bland and lack quality, this is definitely NOT one of those places!!

I ate here a few months back and am craving Indian food again. This one is my favorite one. I ordered the lunch buffet, and the food was just flat out fresh and tasty. If you are on this side of town, dont miss out on this place!!
