Service was awful.We waited ten minutes for the waitress when we finally asked one of the nice cooks to bring us a full menu & coffee.Then I asked him if he was going to be taking our order.He said,"well I guess so."He took our order & we didnt get everything. We didnt complain but asked for the rest of our food.We finally got everything but had more problems. An older black waitress ended up splashing water on some of my food and I asked her if it was dirty dish water.She said,"no" & I told her we wanted to talk to a manager.Before the manager came to talk to us she splashed more water on my food & I told her we werent paying for that food & she rolls her eyes & said,"well I never."I then lose my patience & say to her,"you have no reason to roll your eyes at me & say well I never."This is when manager walks up & is taking care calmly of things by taking the food she splashed water on off the bill.The next thing we know some other younger black women is standing behind us saying that we werent getting anything compt on our bill &hollering thats her mom & if we had a problem to take it up with her.I figured the manager would have said something but he didnt. I then lost it & was wanting to fight the older one b/c of everything. This was the worst experience I have ever had in the 47 years of my life. I will never go back to this place again.

I ordered the All American with eggs over well...the eggs came out over easy....that didnt go over well with me. The bacon was burnt to a crisp, and the biscuit was so dry, a few butter packets couldnt save it. To top all of these problems off..... my server didnt even serve me my Waffle with my meal....the same damn thing the restaurant is named after. The main stable of the meal I bought. The individual serving us didnt even serve me what they are known for, and there was only three tables filled in the restaurant. In my mind, Its like going to McDonalds and ordering a happy meal and not getting the darn toy or fries...Seriously. I was really disappointed. I mentioned it and it was almost as if it was my fault. I was charged for the meal below the price of what I ordered, but would have rather dealt with a terrible breakfast at golden corral than suffer through another meal that this waffle house. take your business else where!

Went there to eat. As soon as we walk in the place is dirty all booths are nasty... so we sat at the counter. Within minutes of showing up the wait staff started to yell at the customers for them helping her clean off a table so the other customers that walked in could have a place to sit.... needless to say we walked out. That is unacceptable, the staff said they were busy. There was only two customers in there till we walked in yet all the tables were filthy. That is not busy that is laziness. And you dont yell at your customers for helping you do your job. They threatened to call the police on the customers and tried to kick them out.

Ok my wife and I went here and it was moderately busy" not to busy" . We walk in and a woman yells sit right down in those seats, which are seating for waiting for a table. There where 5 employees working. The tables never got cleaned off and people were finished eating and leaving. We went to a table and started cleaning one after 15 minutes of waiting and were told to stop buy a waiter. I said than why havent you? You have been standing sound and doing nothing you lazy scum. Very lazy staff. It stunk its dirty and I will never enter another Waffle House .. EVER !!! Its like a WHITE TRASH PARADISE RUN BY LOW LIFE LAZY SCUMM.

My hotel was right across the parking lot so me and the fam decided to eat here... Employees have a dont care kinda attitude! service was OK.. besides the fact that she made us getup and move upon arrival because the table was dirty that we had to sit at and there was no where else to sit. I told her it was fine we would just wait patiently here til it gets clean. She insisted we getup anyhow and wait by the front door until she got ready to clean it. Water had a floaty ,coffee wasnt fresh and food was mediocre. Next time Im in Galveston I will stay far away from eating breakfast here again.

Been eatting here for past yr now, get off late from work so eat late night, night staff ha been great whole year, but past 2 weeks been going in the evenings, atlest 3 times a week. Each n everytime, took a deat, and hardky anyone in here. But still took 20/25min before they even come to take my order, and what makes worest is that 2 times after 10min of beging in therr few ppl came n the staff knee them they took their order amd order got to the table, and then they come to take my order, night staff great. Evening atound 8/9 need to work on how to treat a regular guest.

I have never been so disappointed with Waffle House than I was tonight. I sat down and the server/waitress told us that shed be right with us. We sat there for 15 minutes and she never even got our beverage order. She dropped another ladies food on her table from about 8 inches in the air to the table and told the lady, " Oh, I thought you had that" Ummm? Its not the guest responsibility to put their own food on their table. So, to avoid any mishaps and any further aggrivation we left. By far the absolute worst experience from Waffle House.

Our server was a nice guy, but I think he was new and got a few things wrong. Not a big deal. We all waited tables and know how it is. The biggest issue was an older black woman that was basically talking trash to us. My wife and I and some of the wedding party were there late after the wedding and she was saying how I was going to make her cook and clean and not help with anything, etc. It got heated. Not sure how a person like that is in the customer service industry. Very poor choice by the hiring manger. Food was ok though.

I literally entered this Waffle House in a terrible mood, and left in a great one. The entire crew was extremely friendly and helpful. Shout outs to Robin, Angela, and most importantly, Valerie and Cricket. They made my family and me feel welcome and made me a meal that made me feel loved after I ate it. I respect this staff so much for being in such a jubilant and welcoming mood at 10 at night. Definitely my best Waffle House experience. I wish I lived in Galveston just to visit them again.

Food was just ok, even for a waffle house. What really got on my nerves was the blue haired woman employee cracking jokes and talking badly about my husband and myself to the other man that was serving. You shouldnt be speaking ill of your customers...especially when you are standing less than a foot away from the booth right behind the counter in an otherwise empty restaurant. That is why she got no tip- she did not deserve one and we will not be back.
