Oh my GOSH! The FOOD was Awesome! Longtime breakfast lover myself & Family.*** Weekend SAT.Service Review, (perhaps Sat/Sun only) Trumpet player in the room (it wasnt to loud amazingly) we did spend slightly more than IHop, ** but Quantity & Quality was Amazing.** Even my over easy eggs were awesome....& better cooked than what I do. French Toast sourdough bread thick bread slices.... who knew!!! It was ALL so amazing.... Teenagers & Dad got the Strawberry & Cherry filled Crepes! (No creamcheese filling) They both said it was the best thing they ever had. Slightly crowded being Sat.Morn. but Service/Food & wait Timing came out Super Fast! Yes really really fast. & everything was Pippin HOT!. Not mild warm..it didnt even sit a second before coming to us. I really really was amazed. IF YOU HAVENT TRIED JUST GO, OUR FAMILY DOESNT WAIT BUT 5MINS FOR A TABLE ANYWHERE...... I WOULD WAIT 15-20 HERE IF NEEDED BECAUSE THE SERVICE WAS GREAT fast & FOOD EVEN BETTER. (1st.ever 5 star - I have never written a comment that was so rewarding & deserving.... restaurants normally could ALWAYS BE/DO better but overall this was a GREAT PLACE) (Google reviewer groups member to promote better service & help our community for all to have better standards). 4 Adult Plates.$7-8each.($32) all 4 got sides of Eggs.$2.99each.($11.96) Plus drinks/&waters. I believe around $54 bucks total. Next time we dont need extra eggs. 18YRHS BOY struggled to finish his plate (unheard of) I took half my french toast home. Teen girl took half home too. SO PORTIONS ARE BIGGER - you can ALWAYS order more after your first plate. ** ENJOY, we found our new awesome Breakfast Place! ** The Original Pancake House! (Dallas Pkwy/121 Frisco ? Definitely true about the bad service but good food. The guy who proceed our bill at the counter is not someone i want to deal with ever again. Our waitress was nice and the food was good, but when we went to pay, our bill was incorrect. After a few minutes we came to the conclusion that we had accidentally received soneone elses bill. No big deal, except they could not figure out where our bill was. We stood at the counter for 4-5 minutes while the man babbled on and tried to explain what had happened. He then left with our incorrect ticket and got our waitress to try and figure out what we owed. Another few minutes passed and we moved so others could pay. The phone was also ringing which seemed to irritate the man and he turned around, put his hands up and gave a fellow employee a nasty look, all while we were standing there. 2-3 more minutes passed while he tried to calculate what our bill should actually be and by this point the only thing that seemed to matter was that they got our money. I do not mind paying bc we did get a meal, but after 10 minutes of error ridden mistakes and wasted time, good customer service would dictate that someone would take the appropriate steps to remedy the situation. This was not the case at all. All they wanted was to make sure we paid for our meal and they were able to charge us for everything. My wife and i left with the lasting impression that all they cared about was our money. Terrible lasting impression, we doubt we will ever go back because of the terrible service at the payment counter.

We arrived at 9:15 on a Sunday and were promptly seated. There was apparently a mix up regarding which server was assigned to our table so our initial wait was longer than anticipated. Once it was discovered we were still waiting things began hopping. I ordered the country Benedict with bacon while my spouse ordered the bacon extraordinaire. Both were excellent! We had no idea regarding the size of the plates so we also ordered a side of country potatoes. It was SO MUCH FOOD! Our server and management both apologized for our wait and we were given a special pancake for our trouble which was not necessary, requested, or expected. While this may have been our first trip, it wont be our last. While leaving the restaurant just after 10 I can see why other reviews complain about the wait to get in. The parking lot, front entrance, and area benches were covered up with people trying to get in. Based on our experience I highly recommend you arrive earlier rather than later!

The food is good, and weve had a good experience once before, but service and management is very hit or miss. We have several issues during our meal, which the waitress explained her hearing was no good, but there also seemed to be a language barrier. The manager was never notified. When we finally asked the manager to help us and the waitress, there was not inquiry as to the issues we had been having. He did quickly help with our immediate needs but never addressed us at all. When we got our bills, it included food that we sent back, because it had meat after having clarified that it did not before ordering, and food that we were assured would come out after we had finished eating our meals, but actually arrived before we even got our food. The manager more than reluctantly did end up taking care of those things with us, but overall, it was a terrible experience. Im sure its not always the case, but based on what we saw, it was a reoccurring theme today.

WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. I will make this short and sweet but food was plated terrible. This place is called Original Pancake House and the pancakes were the size that you give to a 3 year old baby. My pancakes were delivered with hair in them so I kindly asked them to remake my plate. When they remade the 2x2x2 which comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 pancakes I asked them to add on 2 more pancakes because they were so small. Also I had them add 2 more eggs to that as well. My wife ordered the 2x2x2 as well as it comes, no additional add-ons. When the check came out to pay the original price was on the receipt. I kindly asked them to lower my price of my plate to the original price of the 2x2x2 from 13.74 to 7.99. Manager came to my wife and I and stated while I think this check is fair what are you willing to pay? So I guess it was fair that my food had hair grilled into it? So at that point my mind was made up to never eat there again!

First time at this Original Pancake House, we used to frequent one in Birmingham Michigan. The Apple Pancake is not to be missed: its huge, so plan on sharing with a friend. The bacon is thick sliced and apple cured. This place is crowded, but their text messaging notification system keeps it moving at a reasonable pace. Youll probably have a ten minute wait, but its worth it. The restaurant is very clean and service was fast and friendly. Our server Michael was excellent. They have lots of servers and even on a crowded Saturday morning once we were seated it didnt take long for our order to appear. The apple pancake I raved about is baked, so takes a little longer: once you taste it youll know why we raved about it. Well be back again soon! Steve & Jeanette Frisco, TX

This is a horrible place to eat at .The kitchen stays dirty , the workers walk around sneezing on the food and they never wear gloves. Ive also seen several of the workers eat food off of the guest plates before they take them out. Not to mention the aroma that comes from the restrooms, its so bad . they dont use soap to wash the dishes just hot water so your lucky to find 2 clean glasses in a whole rack (which contains about 30) that are clean. Mold grows on the bottom of the walls in the kitchen because it rarely gets clean. The staff are very rude and inconsiderate. The manager roman will come to your table every two minutes to ask hows everything you can barely enjoy your food or have a conversation.
