I was born and raised in Frisco and its a bit disheartening to see a place that was once a go-to after-church breakfast spot become so mediocre. The place is understaffed and the food was not good at all. The waitress who served me was nice, but the kind of nice to where it was a bit uncomfortable and seemed fake. Sure enough, I waited 10 minutes at the front of the restaurant for my check and nobody was there to process it. When the same waitress came out, saying "sorry we were washing coffee mugs" I commented "there doesnt seem to be a lot of people here"--referring to the employees. Then the fake niceness seemed to evaporate, as she misunderstood me as saying there werent a lot of people eating there. "Well its a random Thursday in the middle of the Summer. If you came here, you know, when kids werent on vacation, and people werent working--" just with an overall sarcastic tone like I should know this stuff already, and what an inconvenience to her it was for me to mention that as if I hadnt been waiting there for 10 minutes to process my check. "Oh well I was referring to the employees" -- "Oh we dont keep more than 3 employees at a time" -- perhaps they need to hire an extra person to clean the coffee mugs so people can actually do their jobs and not feel so inconvenienced by customers waiting to pay for their sub-par food....

Weve been coming to Le Peep for years now. Out of the 52ish Sundays in a year, we are here about 40 or so of them. We always come before Church. We will be looking elsewhere from now on. This might not be a problem on other days, but every time we go in, there is always a 15-20 minute wait for tables. That wait can grow to about 30-35. I ALWAYS see multiple clean tables open and ready, but they dont seat people right away. Ive seen a table open for 30 minutes before someone is seated there. As quickly as they turnover tables, there should never be more than a few minute wait. Today, I counted 7 tables that were either clean or needed to be cleaned when we walked in, and there were 5 parties in front of us. We still waited 30 minutes to be seated, and the entire time there were open tables. Im sure there is some method to their madness, but it needs drastic improvement. We arent the complaining kind, but it has gotten old telling the same manager and staff the same thing again and again. The food has fallen off as well. A few months back I found a bug in my omelette, and at least 1 out of every 3-4 times we go we have to request clean glasses or silverware because the ones we have are dirty. I hope they get back to the level they were a couple of years ago.

need negative stars, we used to live down the street and go there often on weekends we made a special trip there last Sat and will not be back. Waited 10 to 15 minutes for our drinks after we had ordered and when we asked the waitress she said is "it was our pleasure to have her serve us"! Well I could not believe it so we got up and walked out but not before talking to the manager. Then the waitress said she did not say that and with that I asked my girlfriend to come back in and she confirmed it with the manager but she just apologized and said she would talk to her staff. The place used to be packed on weekends but it was fairly empty and that should have been a clue. So again we will not be back "ever"

I absolutely love Le Peep in Frisco! We drive here about once a month, almost 30 minutes to get here because its so good. The food is great. They do a fantastic job preparing gluten free food as well; two of my family members have celiac disease so they are really sensitive to any gluten. Never a problem here! Good service and good food. Its not McDonald prices but then again, its not McDonalds quality either. I take one star away for inconsistent service. There are a handful that are phenomenal servers (if you go, ask for Monica) then a handful of decent servers. We had one server who was a little rude but Ill chalk that up to a bad day on his part because the service is usually good to great.

Food was mediocre at best and the setting felt very much like we had wandered into a retirement home. There was little to no seasoning and everything was very bland. The ham had a strange artificial smoke taste that was simply not good at all. The service could have been better - the waitstaff was rarely in the front of house and even when we approached the front to pay, we waited probably ten minutes for someone to even notice we were there and take our money. Wont be back. There are far, far better options in the immediate area to get actual good food and service for better value.

Every time Ive been to Le Peep for morning meetings, the waitresses have been excellent and very friendly, the atmosphere has been great for waking up, and the food has been great! Their hazelnut coffee is delicious, as are their waffles and different breakfast plates. For a really good early-morning sweet fix, try the Aspen Crepes. Only thing that could be better could be if it were a little bit cheaper.

It has very good coffee and food and a great ambience too. I will surely visit again. Their chicken fried steak dish is simply awesome. Ive had the last 3 times I have visited this place and I couldnt have lunch after having this dish. The quantity of food is way too good. The only recommendation would be to reduce the quantity and reduce the prices a little bit in order to attract a few more customers.

The food is fantastic!!!! The service is very nice also. However, They are under staffed and it takes a while to get out of there. They just need to have customers pay out with the servers to eliminate an extra step on getting out of the place. The decor was also outdated. All and all we like the food and they have GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS.

Stopped in to grab a bite for breakfast on a beautiful morning. My experience was absolutely divine. Simple, cozy, friendly and the food is GREAT. With fresh ingredients, healthy choices & easy prices this establishment is something to contend with.

Nothing special. Place has been here a while and was a lot better several years ago. Though thats possibly just because there wasnt much competition. If you can get there early enough, Fifth Street Patio cafe is a much better choice.

Great service but this Le Peep location could use an updating/cleaning. Truly did not compare to the Le Peep of Mt. Prospect, Illinois (Chicago suburb). Great staff and service though.

Very pricey. 3 dollar coffee 4 dollar OJ 6 for 2 biscuits and gravy. Normally I wouldnt mind since I love breakfast but the food is just not good at all. It was all kind of rubbery.
