I used to be a fan of Taco Cabana, and stopped going. I went back recently, and now I know why I stopped. Taco Cabana over the past few years changed their menus, and while the changes may result in cost savings for corporate, it deters from the customer experience. For example, Enchiladas used to come with Chicken as an option, now, its only beef and cheese. Tortilla Chips used to be complimentary, then they started charging for them, and in my recent visit I didnt even see them on the menu. This location in particular has other problems, from the poor attentiveness of the staff (I actually saw a customer finally walk up to the window to inquire if the food sitting there was his, since it had been sitting there several minutes and there was no actions to actually bring it to the table), that just seem to want to do the bare minimums, and otherwise stand around and talk among themselves. The dining room had a number of "consumables" that were running low or were out (I actually had to ask for a cup lid, and it took 3 people to finally bring some out), and in this location, the dining room temperature is always on the cold side. I probably would have been more comfortable sitting on the enclosed patio than in the dining room at the time of my visit (outside temps were in the mid-60s). The food quality was fair at best. It almost seems like the kitchen just threw it on the plate, instead of a meticulous organized presentation. Honestly, some of things on that plate Ive had better quality at Fast Food Mexican restaurants. Will I be going back soon? Probably not. Long term? I think it will be a watch and see. I know all of these problems are not corporate problems, and all of them are not local to the store either, but both sides could address some of the issues.

Worst restaurant Ive ever been to. Will never come here again, chips were stale, they didnt even crunch, tea tasted about a week old, ice machine was broken and spilling ice everywhere & employees did not care, employees have bad attitudes, no customer service skills whatsoever, wheres the hospitality, your in a customer based job, personally looks like they need a manager, just a bunch of kids that obviously do not know what they are doing, outside covered patio leaked water and tables were dirty everywhere, salad bar was just gross, food everywhere not neat at all, asked for extra lettuce clearly did not get extra lettuce but got charged for it, save your money go somewhere else this place is terrible, food, customer service, restaurant..... on every level !!!

I ordered a Cabana Bowl, on my lunch break at work. About 7 to 10 minutes into eating it I started breaking apart and eating the shell. Noticed it didnt taste fresh. Decided to take a look at it. Why was the entire shell burnt (badly!). Why theyd knowingly serve this to a customer, I dont know. The manager corrected the matter (after the cashier attempted to renew my shell only and not my order. Smh.). But by then, I only had 10 minutes left for lunch and the shell still held an old, oily taste. Needless to say, I dont think that I will be back to this location.

I dont normally take the opportunity to post feedback but I am just taken by surprise with the employee here at this location. I have been to many different Taco Cabanas and this guy is good. Hispanic male. Im not sure of his name but wow, this guy is everywhere doing everything. Need to keep this guy around. Asking customers about the food, delivering food to tables, at the register. Very impressed. Best service at this location since its been here in Frisco.

I would put 4 and 1/2 stars, but Im not sure how. The food was good and was nice, but it was definitely expensive for my taste (Only reason why it wasnt a 5 star). The main reason was because the service was AMAZING, this girl Meredith was amazing! She looked like a real hard worker and she cleaned the whole time... More than anyone did

I waited over 30 minutes for tacos and chips and queso. Finally I ask for the second time where our food is, and they had no idea. I asked for a refund and left. As I was leaving there were 4 people in line complaining about their order, why their food hadnt arrived. Terrible. We ended up going to Whataburger. Great service there!

What is the deal with this place! 11/6 STUCK in drive thru line for 51 minutes!!!!! No one answered their phones inside. Just an apology from the manager after I complained, she said that they were 4 people under staffed bc they didnt show up today! Slowest service ever!!!! Not worth it for mediocre food!

After waiting 25 minutes and being the only one in the restaurant I had to go and ask if I was going to eat that day . It turns out I wasnt they told me they forgot about the only patron there so I left. Hope the $8 I left them for food I never received helps them hire someone who cares

never been here new to Frisco, came here for a late dinner, should have just went to Whataburger... food was horrible, service was even worse, how can u take my order then i drive 10 seconds to the window and he sticks his head out and asks me what i ordered, waste of time

Do not waste your money or time eating here ...my family eats at other Taco Cabanas in the DFW metroplex all the time and love it . This one, however, is the worst food ,dirty , service is horrible , and they dont rectify mistakes they make, just argue with you about it

Cant even review the food, couldnt get to the drive thru microphone to order it. Waited in line for 20 minutes. Cars never moved. If your going to open at 6 am for breakfast, be ready to go go at 6. I was there at 6:15.

Very very slow service. This is semi-fast food. You could go to a sit down restaurant and get your food faster. The actual food wasnt bad for what it is. The staff looks overwhelmed, maybe a staffing issue.

Great food. Mostly I use the drive through because if you eat in, I swear, your clothes will smell like garlic the whole day long. I think the ventilation system is really bad; But the food is really great.

Not the Taco Cabana I remember. This one sucks. Small portions. Poor quality. Dont be surprised if you are disappointed.
