Chopstix is a place for convenient, cheap, food, so its expected and acceptable for the food to be sub par in quality. However, the customer service was unacceptable. When they messed up our order, they refused to do anything about it. The chicken chow mein on the menu was misleading. Upon order we received 3 small slivers of chicken in a quart of onions and cabbage, with no noodles. Upon calling, they claimed that chicken chow mein is not noodle and that we were the ignorant ones. Furthermore, the beef and scallops ordered had no beef in it, with minimal scallops. When calling back, the manager checked with the chef and told us he messed up the order, but he had added extra scallops instead of beef. She refused to send us the correct order and said that it was fair because the extra scallops made up for the beef, when there was barely any scallops. Having disgusting food is bad enough, but making mistakes on orders and refusing to fix things earns this place a one star rating, not to mention the long wait for food.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star rating. I placed a delivery order and end having to go out to meet the delivery driver to get the food. I was irritated but not too bad. Then, the food was cold and inedible. I order wings and they were WAY TOO SALTY. I called the place and politely let her know that I could not eat those wings. She said that I could bring them in for an exchange. I made her aware that I will expect a refund if I have to come there. SShe then got really rude and went as far as telling me that I am uneducated and that I WILL NOT BE getting my money back and that the wings were still going to be salty. She called me all that names in the book. She hung up in my face and took the telephone off the hook. Ill will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Great quality for affordable prices. There are a variety of options for fresh warm dishes, from traditional cuisines to special orders. The dumplings are delicious. The buffet section is very good. Owners are friendly, cheerful, patient, and serving their customers with care. This is a family business even though it is busy. Its good both for dine-in and take-out. They cater as well. The place is big enough to hold a party of 50+ people. It may not have the most trendy setting, but is clean and great for anyone who cares about the taste and quality of the food. There is also a section in the restaurant people can get souvenirs from China.

I ordered food from here and expected to wait at most a hour and a half since the weather was bad. It was going on two hours and a half hours and I had not received my food so I called and she told me that I was messy and that since I wanted to call she would cancel the order. She then proceeded to call the deliver driver while he was handing me my food and said that I could not have my food because she cancelled my order. I will never again order from this place again. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! I ordered online the first time, the delivery guy came and blew smoke in my face. The second time I ordered online my order came to me 30mins. late (restaurant is literally 10mins from my house), my food was cold by the time I got it, when i called to ask about my order I was yelled at by some woman who told me to stop calling, and then I told her I didnt want my order. I am now afraid to eat from there period as I dont trust what they may do to my food!

i have no idea if this place is good or not, i ordered 2 california rolls but i never got them by mistake i called the one in durham i gave them my address Im not sure if they understood me or not i explained where it was at an hour later i get a call asking where i live well if they had of told me in the beginning it was in durham i would of had my sushi they said we can still deliver but it will be 25.00 thats ridiculous so now i am starving and pissed off at the same time

Terrible place to eat. They have different waitresses every week. Some act very ghetto and have terrible service. The food has gotten worse. Just walked in there today to give that place one more try. As soon as you walked in it smelt terrible. Went to bathroom and middle of two stalls was a candle. Yep I left and wont be going back. Hibachi it was.

I never leave reviews usually, but this was the most nasty Chinese food Ive ever had. Orange chicken was soggy and tasted like dirt. Nothing tasted good... and Im not a picky eater. Everything was overcooked including the eggplants! We had to throw away 95% of it! First time ever having to throw any Chinese food away. :(

Arrogant and highly rude lady answers the phone. Cannot even speak proper English as I could hardly understand her language. Took over 1.5 Hrs for delivery. Will never recommend this place due to the rudeness & lack of customer service. Started yelling & shouting when called back to check on delivery status.

Gross! Worst Chinese food i have ever eaten. I thought that all run or the mill Chinese food joints were the same but dont be fooled. I have never thrown away Chinese food until tonight. Please dont go here and waste your money. If you want cheap food go to Mcdonolds. This food is just gross

Plenty of better than average to good food for a good price, and they dont make a fuss or add charges for substitutions. Cant beat the friendliness of the staff, either. Weve been in there all of 3-4 times in the past couple years and they remember us and recognize our order.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I REPEAT: DO NOT EAT HERE! There was a hair in my food and when I reported it, the woman asked what is she supposed to do about my report. Also, it took them over an hour to deliver my food. Food is not that great & the shrimp did not look all the way cooked.

The experience was terrible. I order my food and it took 3 hours before they even got to campus.I gave them a good 2 1/2 do to the weather. Once here they cancelled my order and didnt even get my food nor my money. If I could give them a 0 I would. Do not eat here!!!!!!!!!!

The worst place in Durham. Rude service. The lady at the front counter had green bread teeth. Never eat there.No One washes there hands its a one stop shop of counterfeit handbags and movies. Just did pick up and that even was a disaster.

The food was horrible! i hated it and the service was bad. Me and my sister got overcharged!!! I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is a waste of money, and it took forever for the people to get her with my food!!
